The kitchen is well equipped but a little small. You can see the sea from both sides if the peninsula from the garden. Very welcoming hosts and an ideal place for touring the peninsula.

  • "Just returned from a fabulous stay at The cottage."

It’s in a lovely peaceful setting, just outside of Abersoch. The far reaching views over Abersoch on one side and Hellsmouth on the other are spectacular. The cottage was cosy & spotlessly clean. Lisa & Willem were fabulous hosts, discreet but always there if needed. We’ll definitely be back

  • "The cottage was."

not suitable for elderly as the furniture was not easy to use for us and especially the kitchen stools were so ..uncomfortable . The cottage was clean and comfortable in other ways C and the shower was great and the view was l incredible. The owner was extremely helpful

Ruth I’m so sorry that you didn’t find the seating comfortable, had we known at the time we would have done our best to make things more comfortable for you. Our photographs and description do show the property and seating very clearly, and so it’s difficult to understand the low rating given for accuracy and facilities - as most of our guests do actually rate us 5 STARS. We’re glad you were wowed by the spectacular views from the cottage, and the helpful assistance provided. Best wishes Property Owner

Lisa greeted us on arrival and was on hand all holiday if we needed anything. The Cottage is beautiful and has everything needed for a lovely stay. Decor and furnishings are great. The location and scenery are just beautiful. The enclosed garden is perfect for the sun and the dog could play happily on her own. Would highly recommend and we will be back.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
