  • "In the kitchen, more crockery is needed, especially if you want to use the dishwasher."

Also the drawers in the bedroom, urgently need fixing, or replacing. A parasol or an awning is needed for the sunniest days here, for the outside space. A lovely quiet & relaxing place, very close to local places to visit.

  • "Enjoyed our stay."

Cottage needs a few tweaks. Shower door in twin room needs attention. Draws in double room need changing as they are hard to open and close.A umbrella for the patio table would be nice and the tubs weeded The shed is advertised on the Sykes description of property but is of no use and would be better taken away. Some more crockery would be useful as the dishwasher is large. These are a few negatives but overall the cottage is very well furnished and comfortable.

It suits us as we have family close by. It provides a great base to explore Llandudno and surrounding area. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay. We love the fact it has some outside space to enjoy the birds and the sheep. There are also some good walks from the cottage.

  • "We had a lovely holiday at Stable cottage, it is in a perfect location for exploring both the north Wales coast and the mountains of Snowdonia."

The cottage was generally very clean however there were cobwebs over the bed which needed to be removed on the first night. The Wi-Fi coverage was poor which we found to be a slight nuisance, might be more important to others, the only other issue was that the water pressure seemed a little low so the toilet cisterns took quite a while to refill. Generally though it was a lovely space and very comfortable throughout. Would certainly stay there again.

  • "Amazing property was beyond our expectations."

Furniture was of top quality and beds very comfy. Nice to have an enclosed courtyard so our dog could go outside. Location perfect and owners friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return. Downside WiFi was hit and miss and no connection in lounge at all. However, this didn't spoil stay was just a bit frustrating especially when have limited data.

Bigger than expected. Fresh milk and tea and coffee ready on arrival. Quiet and peaceful site. Plenty of country walks for our dog. Plus a secure garden so just left the door open for him to come and go when we were home. Local shop handy, a supermarket and retail park not to far away. Information folder with local beauty spots etc. A fantastic holiday.

Just two points I would like to make, your info (Sykes) on the check in and check out times are not correct and also the directions on the last leg of our journey are misleading.

  • "Hi our stay at stable cottage was ok."

The cleanliness left something to be desired odd smell in the kitchen, dog hair all over the place, dirt and crumbs between the seats on both sofa's, apart from that beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, chest of drawers was broken, and some light bulbs need replacing. Would we stay here again, NO. Ken

Ken I am so very sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. I am confused as to why you didn't contact Mick our Warden who lives on site regarding these issue or the office which is also just across from the cottage on the way out so we could have resolved these issue for you immediately. • "Yes. The instructions for finding the site could be clearer."

They should say that "immediately after passing the last house on Bryn Lupus road look for a bright red box on the right. The entrance to the site is opposite on the left side of the road" Also it says Meet and Greet on arriving at the property. This is not clear and I would advise anyone to ring the site before travelling to get a full understanding of what to do.

About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
