  • "Had another enjoyable holiday at Lane End."

Since last visiting, a new, large, comfortable bed had been installed in the main bedroom and a new toilet in the main bathroom. We were visiting in June instead of August and found Abersoch to be very quiet and lots of wildlife in the large, peaceful garden.

Close to the bustling village of Abersoch but in a quiet location. Very well equipped, spacious, dog friendly and even better than shown in the photos. We have had a lovely week here and would recommend. Thank you.

  • "So grateful I found Lane end after driving through by for many years and admiring it ."

We have just returned from a wonderful time there it’s such a comfortable and welcoming house .for all ages . Kitchen area is very well equipped and a new dining suite for relaxing whilst eating . Comfortable bedrooms with views of countryside and coast . The beautiful gardens are extremely well maintained and a variety of different area to sit to catch the sun and views It overlooks the golf course and coast . A warm welcome to visitors at the golf club and very good food well priced . We had mixed weather but this didn’t affect enjoying our stay at Lane end . It has the benefit of walking into abersoch via beach or road but also a quiet location to relax from the hustle and bustle . Thank you , we look forward to returning to Lane end again . They had loud music and were really noisy outside in their hot tub at 1am in 3 nights of our week. Our dog was going mad barking which meant we got absolutely no sleep for 3 nights .

......our cloths got covered in dogs hair , dogs must have used sofa and dogs hair on lounge floor . Also dogs poop in garden . Went to use washing machine, guess what ? On rubber of machine lots of dogs hair and bits of white plastic . Didn't fancy using machine. Also no sharp knives of any kind , couldn't peel an apple , cut tomatoes or slice anything. Went to Asda and bought a set of knives. Other than above we did have a good holiday weather was great and we love Abersoch . Shame about above we stayed here last year and it was lovely and clean . Garden in great .

  • "We had a wonderful week at Lane End, the house was great for our family, everything we needed for self catering and evenings in."

. The garden was wonderful, our dogs and babies enjoyed exploring. The master bedroom was enormous however the other two bedrooms were a squeeze, getting a travel cot in with baby paraphernalia. The king bed was a bit soft for our taste so slightly uncomfortable. Abersoch is a lovely town, great beaches and a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

  • "The house had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday- plenty of room inside and out for 3 children."

More than enough equipment in the kitchen and utility room and plenty of sitting room again inside and out. We found the location excellent being a walkable distance both to the town and the beach. Should we want to return to this area again we would certainly try to book this house. It was everything that was listed on line and didn’t disappoint in anyway.

Thank you for your feedback, just to address the points you have raised- > It is clearly stated on the website when booking that the property doesn't provide towels. > It is not stated anywhere that this property provides a log starter pack for guests. > Unfortunately, we don't have any records of calls coming through to our office from any of the numbers associated with the booking. > In regards to the property being 'freezing', the heating is on a timer that comes on twice a day for a substantial amount of time to heat up the whole property. > I hope this answers all the issues raised, and thanks again for your feedback. • "We absolutely loved the property."

The house was really comfortable, spacious and very cosy. The garden was beautiful and really secure for our dogs. It was lovely to let them out in the garden without the worry of them escaping. The situation of the house was very convenient to get to Abersoch centre and all the beaches. It was a perfect place to stay with my 88 year old mum. I hope the owners felt that we had left the house clean and tidy, as I spent the day making sure I left it as we found it. Just one comment, which I really don’t want to sound like a criticism, but perhaps a few more cleaning products could be left, to assist the end of stay cleaning. All in all, we had a fantastic time at Lane End, even the November weather was kind to us. We will definitely be back.

The garden is lovely, with lots of different seating areas and trees for relaxing under. We had our dog with us and found the garden very secure. There were a couple of places we thought she might try to sneak through but they were easily blocked, giving us great peace of mind. About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
