  • "Lyn & Richard were very friendly and were happy to share their knowledge of the area."

Although the cottage has underfloor heating it could be a little chilly, so the log burner would be brought into use if required. On a personal note I would have liked some form of privacy blinds in the kitchen as I felt very exposed with it being an all glass wall. The bed was very comfortable and cosy ensuring a good nights sleep. We slept so well that even the sheep disdn't disturb us. The location was perfect for exploring the Llyn Peninsular, Caenarfon and Snowdonia.

Stunning views from the garden. Everything we needed was supplied. Great layout and plenty of room to relax. Nice and quiet, but only about 4 miles away from Caernarfon, so easy to do any shopping. Lyn was really nice and gave us local information about beaches etc. Definitely recommend. Mark.

The beautiful, unspoiled beach is just a pretty walk away (1.5 miles), with food and refreshments available at two cafes close by. The cottage is owned by a delightful couple who live in close proximity who were very helpful and friendly, especially with recommendations for local eateries, but at the same time discreet and non intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the perfect place to get away from it all, and will have no hesitation in returning again.

The location is very quiet, only the sheep can be heard. The cottage could be a little cold so it’s worth YouTubeing a basic ‘how to do it’ re log burners if you have never used one before, however the owners are next door and happy to give guidance. We will certainly be back, there’s loads to do and we would recommend Snowdon ( we went up on the diesel train) and a visit to Betws- y - Coed.

Thoughtful gift package of wine, bara birthday (cake) and honey left for us on arrival. Hot water in abundance as soon as you turned the tap, contact with owners by text before arrival leaving numbers to contact if needed. We visit the area regularly and enjoy the location immensely. There was some concern of a nearby 'Industrial Estate" but this is just an old RAF station, populated by some interesting characters selling 'antiques' and recycled bits and pieces. The wet room would benefit from a few grab handles for those less abled, but as the owner said its not marketed at disabled people, so a quick trip a few miles aways solved our issue with the purchase of a shower stool. Abundant wild life and a cosy interior made this week at the cottage a great getaway, much better than the noisy 'honey pot destinations' nearby.
