"We had a good holiday at Bronrallt, however there were a few minor things that if put right would warrant a 5 star rating."
We found that the back garden wasn’t as secure for our dogs as we thought it would be, mainly due to the gate repeatedly being blown open in the wind, this could easily be rectified by the bolt into the ground being adjusted and the addition of a throw over gate latch. The kitchen had ample plates, bowls, mugs and glasses, the addition of some small sharp knives for chopping/slicing etc would be useful. The only criticism we have concerning the kitchen area was the fact that the grill pan was left in the oven unwashed and the frying pan needs to be replaced. We very much appreciated the bottle of wine however we could not find a corkscrew … The Fairy Glen public house came to the rescue! There was a good supply of hand and bath towels but these had a strange damp smell about them … this may however have just been down to our own personal taste. Overall we enjoyed our week and would happily visit again in the future if these minor problems were rectified.

"Like many holiday rentals a few small issues such as a few more pans and a small clothes airer to hang wet towels and wet clothes on would be a useful addition."
The microwave location could be better. On the positive side the cottage is surprisingly spacious and the location great, we didn't have to travel very far whether we were going to a beach, historic town, a walk in the local mountains or go to a nature reserve. We didn't attempt the garden parking as we were always able to park easily on the road with a very short walk to the cottage. We had a very good meal at the Fairy Glen Hotel and will go again when in the area

"Everything was fine."
The cottage suited our needs perfectly. The only slight downside was the parking.

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful village, thanks."
However it could do with a bit of care to improve it further. A welcome book with useful info would be good, a garden that is tidied up, a new mattress in the main bedroom (springs felt the rough existing one), plug in bath doesn't open without a butter knife, and the single bed had lots of dog hair in it - we had to wash the bedding upon arrival and try to get it dry by bedtime as my daughter has eczema, and it wasn't pleasant finding another family's dog's hair in her bed. Having said the above, we really did enjoy our time there and if these minor things were fixed we'd be keen to return. It's a good sized house very close to a lovely pub and play park in a stunning place with good walks and runs from the doorstep.

"A very comfortable cottage, nicely decorated, wonderful location."
Parking is definitely a problem; nearly burnt out the car engine trying to get out of the back drive.Arrived on Sunday afternoon so no parking available on the main road. Also lacking in some accessories; no hair dryer, no oven gloves, some light bulbs missing, no kitchen scissors or foil, cling film etc very few saucepan or oven dishes. All easily rectified!

"All in all the cottage was perfectly acceptable."
It was spacious and clean and has a pleasant sitting area outside with comfy furniture. Although there is a small parking space at the back, in fact it is much easier to park on the road outside the pub. The cottage lacks one or two things you'd find elsewhere, eg dishwasher or tumble dryer (not that we needed them) and we had to buy one or two extras for washing up. But the bottle of Prosecco was a delightful extra and much appreciated. Michelle the owner was very friendly and helpful and I understand is planning some refurbishment which should make it even more comfortable. Location is great and the pub next door served good food. We had a very enjoyable week.

"I have stayed in this cottage twice and I am going to book again in August and at Christmas."
The cottage feels like home so cosy, amazing views the owner is very friendly and is on hand if you need anything .the pub The fairy glen is 6 steps away that does food and B&B .We went snowden, betswy -Co-Ed ,Llandudno, Conwy, Llanberis. All was only a short drive away .I would 100% recommend this cottage

"Lovely host who made contact with us when required and even told us when there had been an accident locally, blocking our journey home."
Lovely cottage with everything that was needed for our break. Lovely and clean and well maintained. Thank you for a great stay

It is close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Michelle was excellent at communicating with us also. We will definitely stay there again

"Overall this is a clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped cottage and we really enjoyed our week here."
We also enjoyed the wine, thank you! There were a few things which if attended to would make it a five star review instead of a four, however: the parking and seating areas outside were very weedy and neglected looking, which was a shame as the weather was glorious almost every day; there are a lot of bulbs that need replacing in the living room and kitchen - we did leave a note about this in the visitors book; as others have mentioned, the stair carpet is pretty dirty. Obviously this is down to a small number of peoples lack of care with muddy shoes and/or dogs, but it would be nicer if the carpet were cleaned. Finally we were a little surprised to discover the cottage was for sale - obviously owners’ can sell their cottages anytime they want, but we’d have appreciated a heads up, and reassurance we wouldn’t be disturbed by viewings during our stay, just out of courtesy, really. All that said, we do recommend this cottage: as mentioned it’s very well equipped, the knives are sharp which is a rarity, it’s cosy, the location is perfect - walks on the doorstep, easy reach of Snowdonia, Conwy, Llandudno and the wider coast, a beautiful river nearby and there is even regular public transport. Just don’t go to the Fairy Glen to eat!

"This cottage is in a really lovely and very handy location for exploring the whole of north wales."
The cottage itself could be tricky to find unless you do a quick google maps check before arrival like I did. Parking on the drive at the back is possible but will require some decent driving skills to manage a bigger car. Parking on the road was never an issue for us though and was actually less distance to the front door anyway. With a nod to previous reviews, oven worked fine, Wi-Fi code was on the plastic tab in the living room, beds were comfy and a very welcome surprise on arrival was milk and wine in the fridge (thanks Michelle!). Michelle the owner was easy to contact and very friendly. A previous review mentioned carpets being an issue - I thought they were absolutely fine and had no worries about walking bare foot! This property is clearly for families and allows pets so it’s a bit unrealistic to expect perfection everywhere. Garden was pleasant to sit in of an evening but like most homes at this time of year and with the incessant rain, is due a tidy up. Nothing drastic and nothing off putting. Would defo go back here!

"A nice location with lovely views and decent facilities is a plus."
Parking an issue except in late afternoon when there's usually 2 or 3 spaces on the main road free (facility does have its own drive but it's a very narrow short lane leading to it and extremely difficult to turn around in when leaving). Earlier in the day we found all spaces full a couple of times - including our arrival day which made off-loading more difficult. Carpets at least need a deep clean as they are just generally grubby and really need replacing as they are tatty in many places (stairs as you come in and the joins from rooms to corridor). It would have been nice to have a little care package waiting as we've had in the cottages we've stayed in over the last few years in wales - but maybe we got lucky with those. Eg small bottle of milk, tea/coffee, bread and jam to tide us over until we've gone shopping. These things were worthy of comment but didn't stop us still enjoying the place though. I'd have given 3.5 stars if I could. All in all had a lovely holiday.

"We did have a lovely time there."
But there where some issues . We could not find anything to give us the WiFi connection we did look everywhere but unable to find it. The oven did not work so was unable to make food. And the bed in the front room kept giving way as the slats kept coming out if you sat on the edge of the bed. I would say that the pictures were very miss given as it looks like it's on its own but we did find it hard to locate at first plus there definitely was no parking especially for big cars. We did leave the property a day earlier.

"The cottage was perfect for us."
Great garden for dog, very secure. Perfectly located for hill walking, beach walking and golf. Pub perfectly located- 30 steps?

"This is a real gem of a coattge, tucked away in a beautiful setting and close to Conwy and Lllandudno."
The faciities are excellent and there is adequate room to sleep two couples and a single. Our hostess was great with communications, sending a welcoming message, and responding very quickly to any enquiries. There are no shops in the immediate village, but there is a shop in Dwygfylchi, a miile or so away. Parking at the cottage is a little tricky, but perfectly possible ulness you have a really large car.

"Very comfortable stay."
Very friendly and helpful owner. Lots of little homely touches really cosy. Plenty of walks in area, lovely, friendly pub next door (very quiet) excellent food. Read the info, there is space for a car in the garden but lane to it is very narrow. Owner did stress that. Although we always found a spot just outside on the road, so not a problem. We had a relaxing holiday. Thank you Michelle and family.

"Very nice cottage, cute and cosy feel, plus it's conveniently located for some beautiful walks and right near the local pub."
Owner was very friendly and responsive, but the only thing we had to report was a dripping tap.
-
"We fell in love with this beautiful cottage in the most idyllic setting."
The cottage is nestled at the back of the Fairy Glen pub which serves superb meals. The cottage owner, Michelle, could not of been any more helpful. We arrived the day after we got married and waiting for us was a bottle of fizz, roses and a card, a very kind and thoughtful touch. The views to the back are stunning and from the bedroom window the Irish Sea can be seen. The cottage has lots of original features and is so welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate to book again and look forward to returning very soon.

"It's a lovely cottage, very well equipped."
We had a comfortable stay, the standard of everything is excellent. The village is beautiful, lovely walks and breathtaking views. Will highly recommend to friends and hope to be back.
-
"The parking was very difficult at the property."
Very narrow. I have a large car. We parked on the road and had no problems. A bit difficult to find at first. It's just to the side of the pub up a little footpath. We asked locals and they didn't even know. Lovely cottage so worth the look. Good location.
