Location is perfect for exploring Anglesey. The hot tub and views are definitely an added bonus! Information provided meant the property was easily located and amenities were easily accessible. Excellent communication from the hosts too, quick to respond and resolve queries. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful property!

  • "This is a beautiful house to accommodate a large groups we had three families under under one roof, We came for new years and was pleasantly suprised a Christmas tree was up which was beautiful and made all the difference The views are beautiful its well equipped with everything you need."

The only downfall which isnt a huge deal is having to get in and out the car to shut gates as there is farm land surrounding , electric gates would be better. It would be nice if logs for the fire was provided but again no big deal the shops arent to far to collect these. Lastly a small hamper on arrival would be appreciated after travelling as shops again are a drive away and if arriving late you dont want to be going out searching for milk etc luckily we brought some with us But I would definitely return its a beautiful house and peaceful.

  • "We had a great girls weekend in the property."

The bedrooms were a great size and super comfy beds! We were impressed with the ever flowing hot water as with 10 ladies after outdoor activities we wanted to all shower and there was enough hot water for us all! We spent most of our time in the kitchen as it is such a sociable space!

Hello Jo, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay and indeed for choosing Ty Carmel in the first place. We're thrilled to hear you such a fun time and hopefully we can welcome you back in the future. Best wishes Anthony. & Liz Property Owner

  • "Mountain view was the perfect place to celebrate my special birthday with my friends."

It was easy to access with plenty of information before we arrived. Lovely rooms and well equipped, we enjoyed drinking bubbly in the hot tub with the plastic champagne glasses provided. Even though it is a big house it was warm and cosy and we enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise. It would have been nice to have a information book about the house but we did manage to find and work everything. Only one minus as the drain plug in the main bathroom shower was dirty. We also would have liked some coasters for our cups. Great idea for the trolly to take the rubbish to the bin up the drive. We would all recommend Mountain View to stay for a family celebration and to explore Anglesey.

  • "The hot tub was cold so we couldn’t use it on the first day."

One of the beds was on bricks and another had half the slats missing, so it wasn’t comfortable. We also saw a mouse run into the utility behind the fridge. Also, as a side note, my experience with Sykes wasn’t great either. I found it very difficult to try and get hold of someone about my booking and felt you weren’t very accommodating. I wouldn’t rush to book through you again.

Hello Leanne, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is very alarming to read this as I can assure all guests we do not hold furniture up with bricks. Whilst we do struggle with the moraliaty of the situation, we employ routine external pest control, being rural and so close to a small holding we just like to make sure guests do not experience any little visitors. Whilst we carry out this work, it is by no means in response to any mice being in the property and purely a preventative measure. Gladly in all our feedback across multiple platforms, this is the only incident of this nature. I am sorry to hear of your experiences with Sykes and I do hope that the service we as owners made up for this as we do take great pride in our property and the fact that we have very many happy guests stay with us. We do hope you would consider staying with us in the future. Best wishes Anthony. & Liz Property Owner

We were unlucky with the weather having two nice days in the week, the rest was cold, wet and windy. We hadn't been to Anglesey before so it was a good central base for us to explore everywhere with nowhere far away. I can't think of any improvements you need to make for future holiday makers.

Our Asda delivery man was waiting for us on our arrival, ( corks were popping within 10 mins of him leaving). P.S. What a pleasure it was to deal with the owner Anthony. & to meet farmer John.

  • "The feedback from my large, multi generational family was enthusiastic, this is a beautiful and well executed restoration."

The proportions of the house are excellent and the kitchen is extremely well equipped for an extended family. A couple of the younger children cried when we left, they had hoped we were staying forever! No negative comments at all, just a couple of observations as feedback. Window seats in the bow windows would make for some comfortable seating in the dining area, with views of the wonderful landscape. The garden really needs to be enclosed to prevent children toppling into the nettles, and a canopy of some sort over the patio area would allow use of the BBQ and hot tub when traditional Welsh weather prevails! Garden furniture would be an asset.

Hello Helen, Thank you for taking the time to review and what great piece of feedback. Since you stayed, we have updated the garden area including additional patio area, more furniture and fully enclosed the boundary so the little ones can't wonder off to far. We hope to welcome you again someday. Best wishes Anthony & Liz Property Owner

Guests can then retire to one of the six sumptuous bedrooms, four of which benefit from private, luxury en-suite bathroom facilities.

The gardens offer a peaceful escape where you can sit and enjoy the tranquillity of the area and the far-reaching country views towards the peaks of Snowdon, whilst the children play on the lawn.

The luxurious hot tub is the ideal place to unwind with a relaxing soak, whilst enjoying a glass of wine and a good book, after a tiring day exploring the fantastic surrounding area.

Numerous activities are available nearby, from clay pigeon shooting and fishing, to go-karting and horse riding, or for the more energetic, why not try your hand at kite-surfing in Rhosneigr, coasteering in Trearddur Bay, or challenge the indoor climbing wall at Llanfair PG?
