• "Excellent property, perfectly clean and tidy."

  Everything one could want for a comfortable stay. Our host was on hand and very friendly and we received a generous welcome pack. Area is outstanding and this is a perfect place from which to discover the island. The weather was typical for the time of year plus an incredible storm, Eowyn, which blew us home! We'd go back in a flash, probably later in the year in hopes of better weather but this is Wales! Highly recommended.

• "From the minute we walked into the Lodge, we began to appreciate the attention to detail and cleanliness of it."

  Deceptively spacious inside, we found there was plenty of space for us ( a couple ). All furnishings modern and well maintained. Location excellent also. Very quiet, at the end of a long drive set well back from the road with lovely long distance views ( of Snowdon ). Very handy for 15 minute drive to must do Newborough Forest / Beach / Llanddwyn Island walk.

• "This property is a hidden gem."

  Absolutely stunning, and views to die for. Peaceful setting but within easy reach of places of interest to visit on Anglesey. The owners Dave and Lynn and not forgetting Mum Helen were superb and welcoming and cannot thank them enough for the welcome and gifts on arrival. 10 out 10 for this lovely lodge could not fault anything. We loved it here and have already booked to come back in May next year.

• "This was a lovely clean and quite new cottage."

  The owners were very welcoming but didn’t impose at all. We’d recommend it particularly for a couple or family. It’s convenient to go to places and then come back to the peace and quiet of Y Caban.

• "We had a wonderful stay at Y Caban."

  it was easy to find and plenty of space to park. Dave and Lynne were welcoming and considerate hosts, the Welsh themed basket upon arrival with treats for adults and kids and some basics like milk and butter, was a great touch especially after a long drive. Plenty of places nearby to visit, you're only a short drive to some popular spots like the sea zoo, local farms and Plas Newydd . They provided a travel cot on request and arranged the second room so it fit which made managing bedtime a lot easier with our youngest. The rooms are all furnished to a lovely standard, and the cabin is next to fields with sheep where the kids enjoyed spotting birds and rabbits during the day. The wetter weather meant we didn't get the chance to use the decking but it was warm and comfortable inside. Having a separate en-suite as well as a full size bathroom was a real bonus. We accidently left an item after our visit and they posted it back which was very kind. It was great accommodation and great hosts, would thoroughly recommend.
