"The boiler was not working when we arrived (monday)so unable to have a shower, reported to sykes and was eventually corrected on the wednesday."
We were able to pressurise the boiler ourselves to enable hot water otherwise we would have had to leave. The heated tower rail in the bathroom was leaking. The tv was difficult to understand on how to get normal tv stations. The overall cleanliness was good and the beds were comfortable, however the front bedroom door would not remain closed when shut it kept opening. The non slip bath mat in my opinion needs replacing. The general state and facilities of the property was good just a shame for us that we had the problem with the boiler.

"We chose this property because there are 2, off road parking places and 2 bedrooms."
It is a delightful house with a small garden at the front and a decked area out the back. The house is very clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the decor is tastefully quirky. A small shop just up the road sells essentials and there are supermarkets in Conwy. Negatives: There is very little information about the TV and the cooker. We struggled to get the grill in the small oven to do what we wanted and it took a lot of trial and error to get “live TV”. Sykes’s instructions said that we should park in the spaces marked No “2” but we parked in spaces numbered “3” to avoid conflict with the person who lives at No 2. Other than these minor issues it’s a great, quiet accommodation.

About the location
LLANRWST
Betws-y-Coed 4 miles; Conwy 10 miles.
Llanrwst is a thriving market town which stands in the beautiful Conwy Valley, only four miles from picturesque Betws-y-Coed, known as the 'Gateway to Snowdonia' and which is North Wales's most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs, places to eat, miniature railway, a riverside golf course and the Woodland High Rope Activity Centre, and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, as well as being the start of the beautiful Conwy Valley which leads to the coast and the lovely towns of Llandudno and Conwy.
