  • "The cottage was spotless and Tina kindly left a lovely welcome pack of wines, milk, biscuits, tea bags and coffee."

The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was of good quality. Lots of coat hangers in the wardrobe. Hand wash, washing up liquid, good supply of tea towels and wash cloths all provided. We really couldn’t have asked for more for the money we paid. The location is right in the heart of beautiful conwy, so restaurants, cafes, bars and shops all outside your door. The water is just a five minute walk away. Wonderful stay thank you.

  • "The holiday cottage is lovely, it has everything you need for a comfortable, comfortable, enjoyable stay."

The bed is exceedingly comfortable and all the bedding etc are of exceptionally good quality. We could not fault the cottage, this was our third year in the cottage and we will hopefully be back again. Position within the town centre walls is excellent for all the local amneties, and although there is no onsite parking, as you would expect from a cottage like this, literally 2mins walk away through the castle walls is a large car park, where you can pay by app. If you have a disabled badge you can park int the disabled spaces with your badge free of charge. Thank you to the owners for a lovely stay, our dogs really enjoyed themselves . ( and apologies again about the broken plate

  • "Nice cottage in a very interesting location and close to HighSt."

amenities. 1Parking operations need to be made more clear. Bedside light needed for bunk beds. As is often the case, much done in main bedroom, not so much in second.

  • "Enjoyed a lovely, relaxing and peaceful stay at this beautiful cottage."

Location was excellent, very central but quiet and lots of places nearby to walk our dog. The cottage is very well equipped and maintained and we especially appreciated the welcome pack of essentials like teabags and wine! We have visited Conway many times but have never actually stayed in Conway itself before. It's a charming little town with lots to offer. We will definitely be back to stay at 2 Railway View!

  • "Railway Cottage is super clean, super comfy and quiet considering it is in the town centre."

Everything we needed was provided in the house. The car park is literally 1 minute walk away and we managed to park despite it being a busy school holiday week. The yard at the back is small and the front area is shared with next door although we didn't see them once. There is a fab big park 1 minute walk away which is great for dog walks and the kids. Once you've parked up, unless you want to venture out if Conwy, you won't need your car again as everything you need is on the doorstep. We had a great week and would love to return!

Great cottage great location everything you need for a great stay a parking permit would be brilliant so you don’t have to remember to go put a ticket on your car every day that said had a brilliant week thank you

Thank you for staying at Railway View and your kind feedback. We have checked with Conwy Council and they advise us they do not provide multi-use parking permits. However should you decide to stay with us again we found the Paybyphone parking app allows you to pay for parking on your phone which we hope you will find helpful. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "A lovely home away from home."

Had all of the facilities you could need for an enjoyable stay…. Plus a little wine and tea/coffee hamper. Excellent location to explore Conwy and the beautiful sites of North Wales. Washing machine was not working, so I informed the owner who had an engineer out the next morning. Lovely facility and will definitely come back. Xx

About the location

CONWY

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe.
