  • "A nice small and quirky cottage, well appointed in an excellent position."

Parking and low door frames were the worst feature, but everything else was good.

  • "The location is fabulous."

Well equipped kitchen. Good fire. Comfy, if old fashioned chairs. A sofa would be nice. TV doesnt have many of the regular channels I would have expected. No wall socket next to the bedside lamp in the bedroom. The cottage needs a refurb and paintwork could be cleaner.

HI pam first of all I would like to thank you for taking time to give us feedback, I am glad you enjoyed your stay at the cottage, next time you come to stay there will be a smart Tv and socket by the bedside , I, disagree with you on the paint work it looks just great the way , will definitely have a word with my cleaners, come again you wont be disappointed we would like to make your stay as comfy as possible, thanks for coming to Tudor cottage and hope to see you again Property Owner

  • "A lovely little cottage, perfectly located."

However a few small changes would make a HUGE difference. (No hot tap working in downstairs loo, shower water pours down drain in yard in full view of kitchen, bucket and a piece of old carpet in the downstairs loo, mould around the back door and behind loo). Saying that, I would book there again, as it was really nice.

HI Emma first of all I would like to thank you for taking time for give us feedback, it is a lovely cottage and will definitely take everything that you have said into consideration, the back door does not have mold, no mold in the cottage but will look into changing the back door and carpet, next time you come to stay with us i assure you everything will be perfect, hope to see you again Property Owner

  • "This was by far the worst place we have ever stayed at for our holiday."

The kitchen had no small plates or drinking glasses..no provision for recycling plastic or paper and the fridge freezer was situated in the toilet. The stair had no bannister rail for the last few steps. The smaller bedroom had a child size bed with no wardrobe, drawer space, bedside table or lamp. The toilet/bathrooms had no bins. The cottage although well situated to Conwy and other places needs a complete overall. The day before we were due to leave we decided to take our car to go to the surrounding resorts but on return could not find a parking space so decided we had had enough and returned home.

Hi Rosemary Thanks for taking time to leave us some feedback, first of all I sincerely apologise for late response due to circumstances in life, i truly apologise for any inconvenience you encountered during your stay at Tudor Cottage, I understand you depended on us to deliver services and we failed to meet the high standards that you come to expect from us , I will ensure that it will not happen again in future, we have made adjustments ie small plates, had to make space for fridge to fit it in the kitchen since it was small with no space, bedside table etc to say that it’s the worst place I disagree with you, its a Beautiful cottage which has still maintained its original features, we have turned everything around into positives for future customers, iam confident that your next experience with us will be up to your expectations, as for parking there is plenty of parking space around the area , outside the cottage is not so big only a few cars, have included parking areas in the new welcome park , please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss this issue further, our customer support is here for you.. • "The property was decoratively smart and tidy, and works well for 2 adults only - no parking at the property only for unloading: if you're sharp you can park opposite."

It would have been good to have a User Guide for the equipment and accessories e.g.: - - How to get hot water from the boiler [all turned off on our arrival...] - How to operate the small TV [via Sky box] - No Council recycling boxes (we took home) Equipment Issues: - - Duvet: Too small & thin and inadequate - needs to be King or Super King & Tog 13 rating... - Kitchen equipment: Lacked sufficient crockery, glasses etc {Cheaply available fr0m Charity Shops]... Maintenance Issues - Bathroom sink plug requires a fresh O-ring - otherwise the hot water has to be running to maintain water in the bowl - Main bed mattress centre steady posts need re-aligning, presently bent over so not providing support - Front door needs a wash down; sandy residues from road works? - Lounge carpet needs replacing or deep cleaning [heavily stained by front door]. Not a welcoming sight!!! No visitors book.

Hi Sharon Thanks for taking time to leave us some feedback, we value all whether positive or negative, first of all I would like to apologise for late response and any inconveniences caused during your stay at the cottage, I have made adjustments since , it was summer time and was advised to get a thin duvet ,I took everything you said into consideration, have stocked more kitchen equipment and asked the cleaners to make sure the cottage is absolutely nice and properly cleaned , iam confident that your next experience with us will be made so comfortable. We will be Glad to have you back Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the property which is in a great central location."

The kitchen equipment is very basic in terms of cooking utensils, pots and pans etc for those wanting to cook. Comfortable double bed and duvet. Would be a good idea to give instructions as to how to deal with the recycling.

About the location

CONWY

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia is just six miles away.
