"The property was great and the owner was great when we couldn’t find it , it was just what was needed unfortunately it’s being sold as we would love to return as it was perfect for us ."
My husband and I and our two dogs .

"We had a lovely warm and comfortable stay at Doldeg."
Brilliant location with lots to explore in the area and a modern open plan bungalow with good heating for an autumn break.
-
"What do you need for a great holiday?"
1) Excellent accommodation. 2) Excellent location, 3 Good weather. 4) Dog friendly accommodation & beaches. Doldeg had all of these during our stay, with excellent weather. Plenty of Dog friendly sandy beaches close by with good swimming not far away. Criccieth, Pwllheli, Abersoch and Porthmadog are all worth a visit. So we would be very happy to return to Doldeg.

"Our second stay at Doldeg."
And booked it again ..very comfortable .spotlessly clean . Everything you need there .. perfect holiday home .we love criccieth .
-
"An excellent location with a private and secure rear garden."
Good living space and excellent WiFi. However, the ensuite has a power shower but the cubicle door should be sliding and not hinged as the room is very small. The bathroom cabinet is strategically placed above a microscopic wash basin so that you crack your head if tooth cleaning etc. The extractor fan did not work so the room smelled musty as the shower was completely enclosed.. There is a shortage of crockery so the dishwasher has to be used more frequently than should be necessary.
-
"We loved this cottage."
The only thing I would like to suggest is that a grab rail be fitted over the bath as, particularly for older visitors, climbing out after showering is a tricky manoeuvre!! However, despite this slight problem, we enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked to return in October
-
"A lovely coastal property, easy walking distance to the town and beaches."
The garden was great for our two dogs but a mat on the decking by the doors would stop the wet paws entering the property from the garden. A table and chairs out side would make the already lovely deck area perfect for alfresco dining. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The property is clean and well maintained. We would happily recommend and hope to return.

"For us, a couple with 2 dogs, this was an ideal property and location."
Well designed and plenty of space, well stocked kitchen with all the equipment needed. Not overlooked at all at the back and lovely view of the castle from the decking. Under floor heating made it really warm although the lack of radiators other than in the bathroom meant there wasn’t anywhere to dry wet clothes (it was March so inevitably we got a couple of drenchings), so a clothes horse would be useful. The kick board under the sink needs fixing, it falls down every time you open the dishwasher. At this time of year, the back garden is very wet and muddy so a door mat for the back patio doors would be useful. None of this detracted from our experience however. Less than 10 minutes to the beach and high street and with lots of places to visit within a 30 minute drive. The Prince of Wales pub was extremely dog friendly as were most cafes in town, including Dylan’s restaurant which is a must to see the building and views as well as the food. It is our intention to book Doldeg again next year if we can.

"We love criccieth have friends here ."
The property is spottless.. very clean everything we need how any one can write a negative reveiw aboit Doldeg ..is beyond us.. its perfect! Booked it for September & January & next summer! Best place we have stayed in .Mary .Brian & collies

"Lovely property, great location between the coast and the town."
Comfortable and clean
-
"Clean, comfortable, functional, could have done without the red bordered notices everywhere, it made us feel like we were staying in a youth hostel, we felt all the rules and restrictions could have just been placed in the information book."
The parking space was adequate, however, trying to get in and out of it was a bit dangerous as the dropped kerb was right on the junction of the road to the beach, fortunately, the roadworks which closed off the road meant that passing traffic was reduced, in high season this might be very different.
-
"Dodldeg is a fabulous private, quiet and detached bungalow in Criccith -literally five minutes walk from the beach, castle and High Street."
Great garden for the dog and kids, parking is great, and the house itself has everything you could require - in terms of layout, kitchen/utensils, bedrooms and shower rooms, and dining options and living room facilities. Seriously couldn't fault it and the communications were great too - if we return up this way (and it is a BEAUTIFUL area) then we'd definitely be returning to Doldeg!
-
"Fabulous holiday with the best of both activities of beach & coastal walks as well as Snowdonia park walks close by ."
The cottage makes a great base but cosy for both Winter & Summer & easy walk to shops & beach. Definitely recommend. Thank you x
-
"We had a fantastic stay at the property."
Well located in the town of Cricceth with the castle, beach and shops all within walking distance. We had a dog with us and the garden is a good size. Great walks and amenities are all close by too including larger shoips such as Asda and Aldi. We climbed Snowdon whilst here too. A perfect base to explore the Snowdonia National Park and surrounding areas.

"Suggest a mobile plug in heater for use on chilly summer evening and a bowl in ..."
Suggest a mobile plug in heater for use on chilly summer evening and a bowl in the sink and somewhere to put shower and shampoo gels as it is not easy to reach floor when elderly the property was very clean on arrival however constant reference to cleaning buy the agent made us worried about using anything we sincerely hope that professional cleaners are employed between occupants mattress on big bed very lumpy
-
"Dangerous steps at front for my husband who is disabled."
Doesn't look much but he needed a hand rail. Furniture very uncomfortable and TV reception very poor.
-
"The cottage is a good size and plenty of parking space, the footpath to the side ..."
The cottage is a good size and plenty of parking space, the footpath to the side of the property leads straight up to the town and is 5/10minutes walk to the shops/ dog friendly pubs , Paddy’s plaice chip shop by first pub in 5 minutes walk and is as good as the over hyped castle fish shop, just a few niggles which have been raised before the bottom sheet is too small for the king size bed (had to buy another on 3rd day fed up of it coming off) the hoover doesn’t work so unable to hoover for the 2 weeks , both the brushes in the garage were hard bristle not suitable for indoors, that said we enjoyed our stay and sure most people would
-
"The location of property is excellent and loved the kitchen and dining area."
However there are some faults which need addressing. The grill pan and oven shelves were dirty, and the fridge smelt. Faulty tap on the kitchen sink which we did report to you. The lawn needed cutting. Doldeg could be a perfect place to stay if it was better maintained.

"Great!"

Very comfortable cottage, spacious, nice garden , brilliant location, lovely area, very quiet, owners very nice and helpful, we would love to stay there again
-
"Lovely bungalow, perfectly situated to walk to the town and the beach."
In easy reach of Snowdonia and the many attractions in the area. We took our dogs and we found a lot of dog friendly pubs and cafes. The log burner was very useful in January, we bought logs in the local Spar (5 minute walk). We would definitely like to return.
-
"Lovely spot in a quiet road not far to walk to all that Criccieth has to offer."
We enjoyed our short break. The bungalow has everything you need to feel at home.
-
"Doldeg is a lovely bungalow well located."
The showers are amazing and the underfloor heating (when the owner fixed v quickly) was cozy. Dogs loved the garden. The only downside and a massive one was the fact that the WiFi was next to useless. Plusnet confirmed not working. Not good enough when you need to book activities like we did (I.e Zipworld, Portmerion and Ffestiniog railway) and researching where to go. Couldn't even get phone signals with 02 and Ee. I spent £60 on additional mobile data to be able to keep in touch with family (including my mother in law who stayed behind on some days out), buy activities and entry tickets etc. Beyond the control of the owner but Sykes saying that wifi was limited in rural areas such that the description didn't need amending was woeful. Criccieth is not a rural area and when I spoke to the lady in the library (free wifi) and the chemist both were surprised at the poor wifi in our accommodation as they weren't aware it was that bad. If you don't want to effectively go off grid this is not accommodation I would recommend.
Thanks for your kind words about the property. While it's true that we have had problems with the Wifi recently, this is an issue which will be sorted in the coming weeks. There has been a damaged wire due to the recent weather that has affected the main supply into ours and other properties in the local area. If we would have known about the issue sooner we would have offered the option for you to cancel before your stay. It's just one of those things which happens sometimes but has never happened before to us. This should not affect future bookings more than a few weeks, and wifi has been strong and consistent for the past 3 years. As this is a damaged wire, openreach need to repair the issue and all other companies would have the same issue, so changing from plusnet at this point would have no affect unfortunately. All future bookings affected by this issue have or will be offered the chance to cancel. Property Owner

"A lovely clean ,warm and well situated bungalow for all the amenities in Cricceth and the Llyn peninsula."
Good secure area for the dog after his long beach walks. To make the bungalow perfect it just needs a few more basic touches like extra pillows in the twin room and a few bits of kitchen equipment ,e.g. Chopping boards ,corkscrew, heat mats for us who self cater . But I would certainly recommended the property. Lovely area to visit .
-
"The main bed was very low and the singles in the 2nd bedroom looked more appropriate for children."
My partner has a back problem and found it very difficult to get up and down from the bed. Bella, the dog, enjoyed the garden it was a peaceful environment.
-
"A couple of things to improve comfort is a king size quilt on king size bed."
A bulb needed in the twin bedroom. Just small things .
-
"This is a superb place to stay it is in a fantastic location between the beach and the centre of Criccieth."
The accommodation is spotlessly clean and is well equipped and if you have a dog the large back garden which is secure is ideal. The owner is really helpful and polite we will definitely be back ( we did not want to leave )
-
"We have just enjoyed a fantastic break at Doldeg … 4 of us stayed (2adults, 2 small children ) and the house had everything we needed for a very comfortable week."
The location is great for access to Criccieth and is also a very peaceful secure location … the kids could play happily in the garden and there was a great little park and play area a very short walk away which helped keep them entertained ! The house is well equipped , especially the kitchen - and is very clean throughout - the washing machine came in very handy ! We had no issues with tv service - having streaming services available was great although the Wi-Fi signal can be temperamental but that’s to be expected in a rural location . Free view channels for ‘normal tv’ were fine. Only improvement I could suggest is maybe some more outside furniture - table & chairs ? We were lucky enough to enjoy lovely weather and it would have been nice to have some meals outside. Great house and beautiful location!
-
"Excellent, spacious accommodation in a very convenient, peaceful location."
Very private garden. Generally comfortable, well equipped and mostly very clean. Would recommend. A few minor issues need to be sorted. TV.signal issues.....BBC unavailable for most of stay. (Intermittent at start of week then nothing at all for last 3 days). King size quilt needed on king size bed. Plug in ensuite basin doesn't work. Ice box in fridge was so iced up the door wouldn't shut. Bedside lamp not working in 2nd bedroom. Roller blind in kitchen needed to be rolled up and pulled down by hand as mechanism faulty. Frying pan a bit grim - a new one needed. No food waste bags. Venetian blinds very dusty. More drawer space needed as 3 drawers filled with spare bedding etc. One of single beds very squeeky. Running a totally empty freezer not very environmentally friendly.....perhaps fill with tubs of ice cubes that could be removed if freezer needed by occupants. A clothes airer would be handy if weather not suitable for hanging outside.
-
"My second visit, (this time with my friend from Italy)."
The bungalow was just as perfect as last year with everything we needed....comfortable beds, great bathrooms, the dog proofed garden and even the special dog cupboard. Criccieth is a perfect centre for exploring this beautiful part of North Wales with its fantastic beaches and mountains.
-
"We had a very relaxing break."
I'm usually happy enough to go home at the end of a holiday but not this time. We were both sad to leave. The property was so peaceful, very close to the beach for strolls with the dog. We have stayed in Criccieth before, through Sykes, and although that property was very nice, this one was better, probably due to the tranquil setting. We very much liked the open plan layout and the light airy decor. The host was friendly and easy to contact, quick to respond. Our lives are quite hectic and we felt much better after a week at Doldeg
-
"Great property would definitely stay again, already discussing returning next year if we can all make it."
Only issues was the washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer had to be cleaned. The outside was covered it dirt and dust. The washer soap drawer and around the rubber were caked in black gunge so I had to clean it before I could use it( I hike so need a washer to wash my dirty hiking gear) tumble dryer was full of fluff and dog hair. Tried hoovering but hoover is obviously blocked. I see from a previous review this has mentioned.
-
"Brilliant property, amazing location."
Did local exploration and walks but spent lots of time in the garden which Bonnie loved
-
"Freezer not on, and required cleaning before we could use it."
(Raised this with owner at the time.) Vacuum cleaner didn't work very well. (Only used on last day - note left.) No DVD player. Everything else was good. We enjoyed our stay very much and found everything we needed.
-
"Beautiful bungalow very well cared for, could buy and live there so well appointed within criccieth with the lanes around the bungalow wasn't far to get to the beach and surrounding area on foot."
brilliant stay would go back . thank u
-
"Fab little home away from home."
Location was amazing for us to set of and explore the local area, and walking distance to the beach if we wanted to stay close to home. The town had everything we could need, a good chippy, a few shops and cafés to treat ourselves. Driveway was plenty big enough for 2 large cars in our group. The house itself was well thought out, and plenty of pots, pans, cutlery for us. The garden was safe and secure for our pets, and 2 bathrooms was great for us 3 adults sharing. But by far the best feature was the open plan living area... lots of space for my large dog to enjoy the underfloor heating after walking up Snowden, and then follow me round when cooking in the hope I drop something! We will definitely be back, and would recommend to anyone for location and facilities!
-
"Our second stay at Doldeg, we go out of season so we can go on the beaches with the dogs but the little town is very quiet."
It's lovely though and we will definitely return again.
-
"The property is very light and spacious, well designed with everything you need."
We loved our stay there as it was so relaxing and quiet to return to after lots of dog walking, the location is excellent only 10 mins from the beach and coastal path. The enclosed garden is excellent for dogs who like to have a regular run around and safe for them to pop out into in the eves. Many thanks to the owners for making it so very enjoyable.
-
"A warm, comfortable and well equipped bungalow in a very nice setting."
We couldn't find the DVD player that was advertised. We would definitely come again.
-
"Great location and a very comfortable property to stay in"
-
"Lovely clean modern bungalow in excellent quiet location."
The kitchen was well equipped and all furniture very comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. Plenty of hot water and on colder days the log burner certainly packed a punch!! Private and fully enclosed garden was perfect for children or dogs and had lovely countryside views. We would definitely recommend and would stay again. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was because we booked last year and were disappointed to find that it had dropped in price by over £200 ...... then on arrival there was only one toilet roll supplied for 2 bathrooms, no milk in the fridge and no dishwasher tablets. All these items were clearly stated in the welcome pack.
-
"We had a perfect much needed break here over New Year."
The cottage was well equipped. We loved the layout with the open plan living space and being able to shut off the bedroom area from the dog. Criccieth beach was nice for walking. Easy access to main roads to go further afield to Beddgelert and Llanberis. Just fabulous.
-
"Loved this bungalow perfect size and great for dogs with it being open plan ..."
Loved this bungalow perfect size and great for dogs with it being open plan great location would definitely recommend and book again would given it 5 stars but we had problems with TV as the storm had damaged the aerial a fews weeks before, we managed to get a few channels through Internet so wasn't too bad overall great break
-
"We had numerous problems with the property, the bedding on the king size bed was too small, the sink in the en suite was the smallest we had ever seen, you couldn’t wash in it."
The heating was inadequate, even the wood burner didn’t have kindling to enable us to light it, so we had to buy it. The TV didn’t work properly. All the utensils, crockery, glasses, cooking equipment were all a complete mish mash and cheap, if you wanted to make a meal, you couldn’t as there was no knives to chop anything up, the glasses were a joke, not enough of any of them. The only way we knew when to put the refuse and recycling out was to check on the local councils website as there was no instructions, the cleaners instructions couldn’t be adhered to as there were no black bags or linen bags. One thing that did make us laugh was there were three pictures blue tacked to the wall, then a frame put around it, the blue tack was coming away and showing through on all corners. We go away in cottages several times a year, this one was a disappointment.
I have to say I believe these comments to be unfair, and so I would like to add a response individually to some of them here: 1. The bedding on the king size is well......king size. 2. The sink is small as to ensure people can pass in and out easily, as the room is quite narrow, any bigger and people would not be able to pass in between it and the toilet without some bother, it is designed for basic daily use such as washing of hands and brushing of teeth.....there is a larger bathroom if needed. 3. Heating is underfloor and takes time to match the thermostat levels. Guests mentioned to me that they failed to turn the thermostat up in one room and so was colder than they were comfortable with. The property has very good heating and not once has anyone mentioned this before, in fact the opposite. 4. Wood burner - we do not as a rule provide wood/kindling/firestarter's for guests, it does mention this in the welcome pack. however we have been providing some logs as a bonus as we had so much ourselves. Guests even mentioned to me that they had "no idea" how to use a log burner. 5. TV - Storm Arwen had just passed 2 days prior and had damaged the TV aerial on roof, which was out of our control. I took the time to buy an internal aerial and go to the property to try to get a signal. Unfortunately this didn't work but the guests were assisted to connect to iplayer/netflix/itv etc etc...needless to say there was not much gratitude! 6. We often have guests who have more people in the group and they have never complained regarding utensils, we have however taken this on board and made some improvements. 7. There is a refuse guide on the table as you walk through the front door with clear instructions as to which bins are used for what etc. 8. Refuse sack's were in the property but have been moved to a more obvious location now. 9. Pictures - I created these myself! We had them on the wall when we lived in the property and ok while I may not be the most artistic person I think they're quite cool! Anyway I don't think they really need to be mentioned on a review as I doubt they so bad to ruin your 'relaxing' break! Please see below for some 'real' feedback and what most of our guests have to say, the vast majority love our cottage and we are super proud of it to say the least....maybe these guests were just not suited to our cottage! "Lovely property & situaton"
-
"The stay was amazing, place was well equipped and very cosy, was like a home from home."
Only thing was the timings of having to be out was super early that is the only thing I would change, we wanted to go exploring on our last day but struggled because of how early we had to be out but other than that would 100% come back, loved the place! Everything about it was perfect apart from the departure time.
-
"Peaceful location, convenient to beach and facilities."
Good spec on cottage and well thought out in both layout and equipment. Would definitely recommend.
-
"We did not think that there was enough crockery for 4 guests when using the dish washer."
The single beds although quite comfortable were extremely noisy, not sure if it was the actually bed frames. Would love to return to the area but due to the big increase in the prices for next year unfortunately this will not be happening.
-
"Kitchen ; no kitchen food prep knives, limited crockery, not enough for ..."
Kitchen ; no kitchen food prep knives, limited crockery, not enough for dishwasher which would not work after 2 runs and an oven I could not program But most disillusioned by rollover not refund for last years booking
-
"This is an ideal holiday let for families, lovely secure garden for the children, close to the beach and the owners have made it a really nice place to stay."
Would come back if the prices stay reasonable.
-
"A superb holiday house, spotlessly clean, modern and with everything you need provided."
Because of Covid, my friend from Italy was unable to join me and I holidayed alone with my 2 dogs. I felt completely safe in this quiet location. My dogs loved the enclosed garden. The bungalow is ideally situated, with its footpath alongside the property taking you into Criccieth centre or down to one of the beaches within a few minutes. I note that some of the comments on line say that there is only a small freezer compartment and no washing machine. A large freezer and a washing machine are now in the garage. One of the best properties I have ever stayed in!
-
"Lovely holiday home, so easy to get out and about, as it’s so close to the station."
Had a lovely week with our 10 year old doggie who loved lying out on the decking!
-
"Location of property was spot on for us with 2 large dogs, garden was great for them to stretch their legs."
Food services in town were very good and convenient. Less then 20 miles from 2 brilliant dog friendly beaches at Harlech and Black Rock Sands.
-
"Bungalow was situated close to coast short walk to shops and beach."
Very comfortable property everything you needed was there. .set in a quiet location. Our dog Pod, an older Westie ,loved the garden as we did. Sat in the garden with a view of the castle was magic.
-
"Excellent property in good location."
Everything within Criccieth was accessible and most locations within easy walking distance. Superb holiday destination and good weather certainly helped. We were intending to book for next year but a 75% increase in price for 2022 is totally unacceptable.
-
"Beautiful cottage, lovely location."
Had everything we needed, only (minor) feedback would be a bigger duvet for the bed as it only just covers the bed. But everything else was perfect. Lovely secure garden for our dog, great walks from the doorstep, all the facilities of Criccieth on hand and a great location to explore the beautiful coastline of North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park. We’d like to come back.
-
"A wonderful bungalow in a fantastic location with beautiful decor and a fabulous private rear garden that made it very safe for our 7 year old daughter and our puppy to play in."
-
"This was our 2nd visit to this holiday home and look forward to a return visit"
-
"Lovely property in a great location."
Lacks a table and chairs for outdoor dining, and there is plenty of space for a hot tub! Squeaky bed frames in twin bedroom. However we will return as we had a lovely week in sunny Criccieth.
-
"A 5 minute walk to the sea, really nice bungalow providing a much needed break, highly recommend and will definitely return."
-
"Lovely house so comfortable this is our 4th time here have booked again for next year."
Location is great short walk to the beach, can't wait to come back.
-
"Lovely bungalow on a quiet estate, very clean, we felt very safe entering the property."
Perfect location in Criccieth, 2 minutes to coastal path on Marine Terrace and the castle. Footpath alongside property takes you to the station and the high street We were so pleased with it we have booked for April 2021.
-
"We stayed at Doldeg in late September 2020."
We loved this bungalow so much that if we win the lottery, we would like to buy it. The bungalow, location and surrounding facilities, all great. The only problem we had, being of the older generation and beginning to suffer arthritis, was the double bed is very low and therefore difficult to get in and out of. We tried the two single beds but they both have metal bedframes which are very noisy when you move about in the night. The bed situation aside though, this is a beautiful home with a lovely garden set in a very quiet and peaceful location but still within close proximity to the town's main street, beach and amenities.
-
"What a lovely, comfortable place Doldeg is!"
!! It is spacious and very well equipped. The bed was extremely comfy and the shower was brilliant. It was a very peaceful place to stay (having said that the owls could be a bit noisy!!) We were fortunate enough to see dolphins and the resident seal in the bay. There are plenty of places to eat locally and all were adhering to the social distancing rules so you always felt safe. The food at the Castle Inn, literally just 5 mins walk away, was very good, we ate there twice. There are lots of beautiful places to see and nowhere seems to far to get too. Our dog had a fabulous time at Black Rock Sands and Harlech. Aberscoch is lovely as was the beach at Nefyn with the Ty Coch Inn literally on the beach. A trip to Beddgelert is a must with the tale of Gelert the dog. We would definitely return here if we were to come back to this area in the future, we loved it!!!
-
"Excellent property."
Comfortable, modern, clean and excellent location. Would use again.
-
"Doldeg is a delightful bungalow perfectly situated for both the beach and high street in Cricceth."
The property itself was superb and far exceeded our expectations. Lovely and comfy and spotlessly clean with everything needed for our stay provided. Would definitely recommend both this property and Sykes Cottages when looking to rent a holiday home in the UK.
-
"Location and facilities were fantastic!"
We miss the amazing underfloor heating already!
-
"The property was lovely with everything you could possibly need."
The location was perfect both for the beach and the town. Can’t recommend enough.
-
"No thank you"
-
"2nd time to Doldeg - we love it, the bungalow and Criccieth"
-
"We loved Doldeg."
It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. It is in a very good location. It is a short walk to the town, castle and beaches. I accept the point made by a previous guest that there is no large freezer but the fridge does have a small freezer compartment which was perfectly adequate for us. In the town there are convenience shops, a deli and a good butcher. There are also take aways in the town and supermarkets a short drive away. We would certainly recommend Doldeg; we would book this holiday home again!
-
"Really enjoyed staying in Doldeg was very comfortable."
Would have liked access to washing machine and dryer.
-
"We had a holiday with Sykes Cottages last year in Anglesey, which was really excellent and we were expecting the same this year."
However, Doldeg did not quite reach the same standard. Hoping to eat in the cottage most evenings, we took rather a lot of frozen food, but unfortunately there was no freezer, which meant that most of our food was spoiled and had to be thrown away. All other facilities were adequate and we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and would probably go back again, as we really love Criccieth.
-
"Doldeg is a relaxing well equipped comfortable home."
Very quiet estate.Very short walk to beach and coastal path. The footpath down the side offers a lovely shortcut to the high street, train platform, bowling green, putting green, castle and chip shop.
-
"The bungalow is beautifully presented and spacious."
We found the double bed very comfortable as is the sitting room. The back garden is private, filled with bird song and with a view of the castle. The nearby footpaths and little passageways were interesting to explore and provided shortcuts to the shops and beaches. The kitchen would benefit from a small sharp knife, for preparing fruit and veg, a dish suitable for the microwave and a potato 'masher'. Otherwise very well equipped.
-
"My wife and I had such a wonderful time staying at Doldeg ."
...........everything was quite modern, clean and tastefully laid out..the kitchen was very spacious with everything you would need....the beds were very comfortable and the shower room was a dream...The owners , Alicia and Gethin, have gone to great lengths to make this home a perfect place to spend a Holiday and we will now be booking another holiday in the future
-
"The cottage is in an excellent location to enjoy all that Criccieth offers without using a car."
Our dog loved the enclosed back garden and enjoyed sitting on the decking behind the garden furniture. Sykes were very helpful when we lost the key to the front door, as the owner's father lives nearby and was able to come round with the master key to let us in. We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in Criccieth, particularly if they have a dog. Blackrock Sands is a super place to walk the dog and the Australia pub is great for a beer afterwards (it also welcomes dogs).
-
"Great bungalow, lovely layout and everything you need, in a quiet location but easy walk to the town and beach, lovely walks from the door and further a field in the Forrest."
-
"Doldeg is a modern, well equipped bungalow three minutes walk from the sea."
Warm and very clean it was the perfect base for our winter break. Our two dogs loved the secure garden at the back. They loved the big local beaches even more! All in all, a perfect break.
-
"Bungalow needs more equipment i."
E. Brush, Hoover, iron and more kitchen utensils, other than that it was absolutely brilliant, amazing location in a lovely quiet residential area right by the castle and beach
-
"Had a lovely time, cottage was gorgeous and in a fantastic location."
We would definitely return. Our dogs were made to feel welcome with their own doggy cupboard. Lots of space and a nice garden with views of the castle. Only slight issue was that some of the kitchen utensils/tableware and equipment need updating.
-
"We had a great holiday and really enjoyed the break and location."
Whilst the property is on a small estate we found it peaceful yet convenient for Cricceth.
-
"Beautiful cottage, very comfortable and clean."
Fantastic location, would definitely recommend. We had a lovely time in Criccieth.
-
"There was a couple of things needed 1there were no microwave dishes to use for ..."
There was a couple of things needed 1there were no microwave dishes to use for food and we found the teapot handle was very hot to pour other than that we had a great stay
-
"The only problem we found was the door handle on the oven was extremely loose so we did not attempt to use it as we may have pulled it off and we did not want to cause any damage otherwise it is a very nice comfortable bungalow in a quiet location."
-
"Lovely holiday home in an excellent location near to the Beach."
