"The house was very spacious amd well furnished."
The bathroom and large ensuite were warm with underfloor heating and heated towel rails. It was a pleasure to shower. The modern kitchen was well equipped and there was a mud room for shoes and beach paraphenalia and a very large utility room.The sitting areas at the front, because of the elevation, gave amazing views over the sea and front of Criccieth. The sheltered dinindgarea at the back was excellent for outdoor meals. Also good selection of games provided for wet weather which we had! Superb property.

"We had a fantastic holiday at Bryn Deryn."
We couldn't fault the house - it was spotlessly clean with brilliant facilities and the most amazing views of the bay. Access was easy with a very good key safe and parking. The lovely welcome tray with milk, Bara Brith and wine was a nice surprise on arrival and just what we needed to set us up for a great holiday. Would definitely book again.

"Absolutely fantastic house."
So spacious, clean, well maintained and the best thing was the stunning sea views from nearly every room - the photos don't do it justice. Lovely location. One of the best houses we've stayed in.
Only downsides - some garden furniture on the large side garden would be great, as the kids wanted to play there and you can't watch them from the seating at the front of the house. It would be great to be able to sit there and eat too.
Also, it would have been nice to have been warned about the building work going on next door - shame to be woken before 8am by builders and listening to them all day when enjoying the peace and gorgeous views. Obviously can't be helped and I'm sure it won't last too long.
Overall, a really fantastic holiday and we loved the house. Thank you.

"A wonderful property that was the basis of a great trip away."
It is superbly located, great ambience, spotlessly clean and everything is new and functions perfectly. It appears to be someone’s private second home that they kindly let us stay in. This is defo a 10/10 and we will be back for sure.

"This is no run of the mill holiday home."
From the imposing outside facade to the spacious interior, everything is just perfect. The accommodation is spotless. The furnishings and equipment are of the highest order. In fact everything has been created for the comfort of holiday guests. This includes the luxurious bathrooms, a very special feature. Guests will not have out of date information and brochures to contend with. Starting with a letter of welcome, the owner has produced what we consider to be the best information folder we have ever seen in decades of self catering. Here you will find step by step details of use of electrical appliances, local places to eat, walks and much more. We should also mention the superb panoramic views from many of the rooms. In short, Bryn Deryn has everything you could want from a holiday home.

"This is a lovely property in a fabulous location."
The house is spacious, very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable and has everything you need. The bathrooms are especially nice, they are ‘very posh’ according to my 6 year old. The views over the bay are wonderful. We had an amazing holiday, none of us wanted to leave. I highly recommend this property.

There were only 3 of us so we had massive of space as the property is huge. Excellent views over the beach and out to sea from the many windows and the outside seating. Really relaxing place to be.

"The property was immaculate and clean."
Amazing views of the sea. My only negative comment is that the mattress in the master bedroom was too firm. My husband and I like a firm mattress but this was just too firm.
We enjoyed our stay and hope to return at some point. It’s one of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Location was perfect. We are still talking about the view from the house.
We didn’t realise so many rooms were locked, obviously personal belongings of the owner who visits frequently. Plenty of space despite that.
We would return to Criccieth without doubt.

Great to wake up to sunrise over the mountains and sea. Superb facilities, decor and cleanliness. The owners have this property about perfect. We have been renting in North Wales twice a year for the last 12 years and this is one of the very, very best. Superb.

Property is quite close to the main road A487 so need to be aware there is constant background noise from the road. Additionally the third bedroom, the twin room, is not on the ground floor as outlined in the details but on the first floor which may cause accessibility problems for some.

A very minor gripe is to say that it would have been helpful to have had labelled keys to all external doors (x2 ?) It would also have been nice to have known from your brochure whether or not there was a barbecue.
