"The cottage is lovely and clean, and very quiet, with of road parking."
The cottage had everything we needed. Ideally located for visiting near by places. You can see the sea out of the window’s, it’s just a short walk to the beach. lovely shops up on the high street, from cafes to fish and chips and ice cream, everything you could want. Thank for the bottle fizz much appreciated.

"Being a regular visitor to the area, this was the ideal little cottage for my needs."
The beach is a literal minutes walk away and only a few minutes further into the town. I visited during one of the wettest weeks of the year and local flooding in my usual haunts meant that I could not get out as much as I normally would, but the cosy warm surroundings meant staying in wasnt a chore. Already looking at dates I can come back

"The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the things you might need for a week away."
It was so close to the sea, castle and high street. Even had a sea view from the lounge!

"Stayed here many times now, absolutely perfect!"
Great owners, lovely cottage, and North Wales is always fantastic.

"This is a wonderfully cosy, comfy cottage with lovely views of the sea from the lounge area and kitchenette."
Shower was brilliant and appreciated the extra space (sometimes shower cubicles are tight on space). Am already planning my next stay! Highly recommended. Thank you Eirian and Jamie.

"Fir tree cottage was a lovely place to stay ."
It is in an excellent position overlooking the sea and the castle. Very comfortable and everything you need for a great stay . The only thing i would say is it would be nice to have a small welcome pack for when you arrive after a long journey just until you could get to the shops to buy groceries for your stay . Criccieth is a nice place with a lovely beach . However it does lack a little in good eating places . The pubs were run by very young people who lacked experience in customer service chatting amongst themselves and not cleaning up so to free up tables . A lovely little tea room with homemade cake etc was charming and also a great bistro with fantastic views from a small terrace and gorgeous food . Found a lot of eating places closed early in the week and only open Thursday---- Sunday . Would recommend Fir tree cottage .

"What beautiful little cottage and peaceful."
We had a lovely time staying in Criccieth, a nice Welsh seaside town and we will recommend to family and friends
-
"A super little cottage clean, nicely furnished and really well equipped so you could easily make a meal from scratch if so desired."
Great central location for beaches and walking with magnificent views of Snowdonia. So enjoyed sitting outside the cottage and enjoyed the well kept garden and views out to sea.

"We throughly enjoyed our holiday it’s a lovely little cottage everything you need."
We would certainly go back.
-
"The bed mattress was much too soft, it felt like a water bed."
The shower is very slippery we nearly slipped over when stepping out, I would strongly recommend a non-slip mat before somebody has an accident.

"2nd stay at Fir Tree Cottage."
Lovely cottage perfect location.

"We have enjoyed our week at this property."
Our only complaint was the bed which was too soft and had a tendency to leave us rolling into the middle. Everything was provided for us and was clean and modern. The weather could have been better but that’s a chance you take. At this property you are situated in the actual town and we enjoyed several days walking without the car. There is a train station, several eating venues and local shops. Black Rock Sands has a better beach than Criccieth but as weather was not great not a problem.

"It was a welcome surprise to discover there was a glimpse of the sea from the lounge."
-
"We had an lovely week in a comfortable cottage in an excellent location."
Criccieth is a good base for exploring and has several pubs, cafes and a range of shops, and the cottage itself is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the beach, butchers and bakers. We were aware that Fir Tree was a compact cottage so the facilities were what we were expecting and it had everything we needed, including a particularly good shower. We found it was a very friendly place to stay.

"Really enjoyed once we worked out how to use the tv!"
-
"Absolutely brilliant from start of booking to the end."
We were kept up to date and were sent clear reminders of checking in etc. The cottage was beautiful and if anything had been undersold, although any potential issues such as weak WiFi had been pointed out beforehand ( we actually did not find this an issue). Brilliant service along with very reasonable pricing and an absolutely beautiful cottage in a gorgeous setting. We will definitely be booking again.

"We felt the interior photos of the cottage did not do it justice, the property is compact but not cramped and has been refurbished to a high standard, and in we found it comfortable."
We would consider Fir Tree Cottage an option for future holidays in the area.

"Met friendly owner, who informed me the accommodation is being refurbished this winter."
. Already very cosy.

"Very cosy and clean ideal stay for a couple"
-
"The cottage met expectations in most ways."
It was an ideal place to stay for easy access to all that the area has to offer. The cottage was mainly exactly as described, bijou but clean and comfortable. Three disappointing points though; uncomfortable bed- mattress needs replacing Knives were very blunt making food prep a big hassle and wifi was very patchy. Wifi had some reasonable periods but at other times was completely unavailable.
Thank for your feedback about Fir Tree Cottage. We will be replacing the knives at the cottage. The mattresses were brand new at the property at the start of the season. We are sorry they weren't to your personal preference. Due to the area we are taking WIFI boosters to the property in the coming weeks. Property Owner

"This cottage is perfect for 2 people, short walk down to promenade, even shorter walk to restaurant, bakers, butchers, takeaway and pub, another pub further down road, also Chinese / Asian and Indian restaurants, chip shops a bit further away."
