  • "The Cottage is fabulous and so comfortable."

The Dimplex fire was not working but this wasn’t an issue as the cottage was wonderfully warm due to the central heating. However, the flame effect would have been a cosy addition in the evenings. Everything was wonderful and a pint of milk in the fridge plus salt pepper and other condiments were a lovely welcome suprise.

Thank you for your constructive review and we will ensure that the back up heating is functioning correctly. It was a minor issue & has now been fixed & working perfectly. Thanks for letting us know Property Owner

The property

A quintessentially traditional grade II holiday cottage with low ceilings and doorways in the popular seaside town of Criccieth on the Llŷn Peninsula.

Set in a quiet location, it’s just a short walk from beaches, the medieval castle and good cafes, restaurants and shops. Downstairs is a cosy open plan living room.

Comfortable sofas ranged around a stone inglenook fireplace with a coal effect electric fire.

Dining table and chairs for four.

TV with Freeview, CD/DVD player.

The kitchen area is well equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine.

French windows open out onto a well-managed terraced garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one double room and one twin.

The upstairs landing has views out over the garden and is a great quiet spot for reading.

The family bathroom has a bath, shower, wash hand basin and loo. Outside, a set of stone steps lead up to a lovely terraced garden which is ideal for relaxing in and for alfresco meals. The centre of Criccieth is just a short walk away.

There are wonderful coastal walks nearby and a little further afield is the Welsh Highland Railway - why not take a ride up into the mountains of Snowdonia?

The Llŷn Peninsula is a lovely, undiscovered part of North Wales and great destination for a holiday.
