"Despite being situated in a lovely Welsh valley, surrounded by sheep and waterfalls."
Overall we were left feeling very disappointed by this holiday home. The advert states that there is off road parking for 2 cars. Yes there is parking at the rear of the property, but it is a very tight parking space and definitely not big enough for 2 cars (unless perhaps you have 2 Smart cars) The double bed is a very small double and not very comfortable for two. The bathroom had black mould around the shower and no toilet roll was left for us (thankfully we brought our own as there is no shop within walking distance). The towels were very thin and I actually thought the hand towel was a tea towel. The house appeared to be very 'tired' and in need of some maintainance, perhaps replacing the tatty patio furniture, mowing the front lawn and giving the house a coat of paint (which was flaking off the walls) would improve it. Tbf the kitchen was very spacious and well equipped. The wi-fi was excellent and as mentioned above the location was beautiful. Overall, this house was basic at best but I guess it was okay as a base to explore the amazing Welsh countryside.

"Really remote, situated in a lovely Welsh valley, surrounded by sheep and waterfalls."
Quite difficult to locate actual house, but sat nav does take you to the location. Parking at rear is very tight, don’t know how larger cars manage to park without some scrapes.

"We loved this cottage!"
It is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. It is surrounded by peaceful mountains and animals. It was easy to get to and not to far from the news-y-coed rail/bus stops to take you into the Snowdon Mountain. Turn right past the telephone booth and the property is at the end of the drive.

"The cottage was the perfect base for our family adventure in North Wales."
I would like to thank the owners on behalf of our family for providing a perfect home from home! The service I received from Sykes was fantastic. I'll be recommending the cottage to anyone who asks me about staying in rural Gwynedd. Cheers

"Very rural setting which we loved, surrounded by beautiful hills with sheep and horses."
The house was so lovely and comfortable. It was a few miles from the village which only has one shop and a pub (which was closed and only opens at weekends). We had difficulty finding where to park at the property but a kind man helped us. There is a little drive way up the side at the start of the row of houses (just after the public telephone box) on the right as you enter the road. Then you drive right to the end and park at the back of the house in the allotted space. It was handy that there is a big building with a car park at the end which we could drive into and then drive back into our parking space.
