"This holiday cottage is simply amazing."
Set in the most beautiful location and farm animals all around. The games room is perfect after a long day to keep you entertained. We could not have wanted for anything thank you so much you have the cottage just right.

"Penrhyddion Ucha farm cottage was superb!"
The location was very quiet, with a stunning view yet, very close to Bewts-y-Coed for dinings, groceries, shopping and sight-seeing. The owner of the cottage was very friendly and welcoming. She prepared fresh milk and freshly baked scones on our arrival and checked on us twice to make sure we’re settling well. WI-FI was great! The heating was great! Everything you need in the kitchen and utility room were provided and available. Very relaxing indeed!
-
"A lovely holiday cottage in an ideal location for exploring north wales."
Perfect for families with plenty of space for children to run outside and play. The cottage had all home comforts needed for an enjoyable stay. I would be more than happy to stay again.
-
"We spent a wonderful week in this peaceful, relaxing and beautiful setting."
The house is extremely clean, comfortable and has all the facilities you’d need. Great place for kids, with loads of space to run around. Mrs Jones was so welcoming and helpful. Thank you and we will be back next year!
It was a pleasure to meet you and your family! Thank you for your kind review! Property Owner

"The house was very clean and very comfortable."
There was everything needed for a relaxing break. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped for a self catering break. There is a fantastic country view from every window. The location is quiet and with easy parking but just a short drive from Betws y Coed. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We didn't have any problems during our stay but I have no doubt they would have been resolved quickly if we had. We loved our time at the house and hope to return before too long.

"It was a beautiful cottage with all amenities and situated at an ideal central location."
We had a lovely time and thanks for the delicious scones:) Would surely come back to this page

"There was a smell coming of the central heating boiler in the kitchen every time in use."
There was lots of cobwebs (old ones they were black) they were in the kitchen cupboards underneath the tv unit were the dvd player is just everywhere! And on arrival there was a musky damp smell which we opened all doors & windows for a while. And the kettle needs to be replaced as it’s black even discaling won’t remove the buildup we had to boil hot water in the pan for cups of tea & coffee. It’s a lovely cottage just needs up dating and a good clean!
I'm sorry you had a few issues at the cottage but if I had been contacted during the week I would have tried my best to sort things for you! The boiler will emit a slight oily smell occasionally, this depends on the wind direction and all safety measures are in place! If my caretaker had missed a few cobwebs a phone call to ask for extra cleaning would have had it all sorted! I don't really know what the problem was with the kettle, you said you used pans for boiling water for drinks, but the lady who stayed with said the kettle was used for hot drinks! The interior of the kettle is discoloured because the water is not mains water treated with chemicals, but spring water treated by filtration and ultra violet and is tested annually! A new kettle would be discoloured in a few weeks! Property Owner

"Holiday cottage is just as described."
Everything you need is there. Lovely welcome to the cottage and a surprise of milk and bara brith left for us to enjoy. Log burner was perfect for the cold nights and teenage girls loved the games room and meeting all the friendly farm animals. Views are amazing. Had a very relaxing stay. Couldn't ask for anything more!
-
"We had a fantastic 3 night stay here - a peaceful and beautiful spot with great views, all just a short drive from Betws-y-coed."
The owner was very friendly and even left us milk and mince pies in the kitchen - a great touch. The perfect place to base ourselves for a few days of hiking, to come back and relax here infront of the fire. Just perfect.

"We had a lovely stay."
House is very comfy and well equipped. Great location for exploring Betws y coed and very close to zip World which we all loved! Would highly recommend.
-
"Stunning location and everything needed even being snowed in."
Attention to detail needed as lots of cobwebs everywhere. I really did not like the "house rules" sign when first entered and old boiler which let out a strong smell which left us both with headaches. However we still had a enjoyable stay as the views at the property were amazing.
I am sorry you had a few issues at the cottage,I wish your concerns had been mentioned when I visited to check if everything was OK rather than be told"beautiful property"!I think a smelly boiler should have been notified as a matter of urgency so it could have been investigated for your safety,as a matter of interest the body of the boiler is old but all parts have been replaced and are fairly new! "A great property perfectly located with fabulous views."
The fire in the lounge was lovely to come back to after a day in the wet mountains. Delicious cake on arrival was an added bonus.

Owners are friendly and very contactable if there is a problem. A real home with plenty of walks from the door and if you bring your dog the garden and grounds are very secure.our dog loved the freedom. Would highy recommend. Thankyou Menna for everything.

"Brilliant and well equipped cottage in a lovely location."
Very comfortable and welcoming Minor feedback - wi fi doesn’t stay connected but have to relog in every time pick up phone. But once connected it worked well. Thanks for a good stay.
-
"Lovely cottage and owner."
Very helpful and great communication. Cottage was lovely and clean with beautiful surroundings, and the owner was on hand for any issues.
-
"Lovely, cosy and clean property with everything you need for your stay and with fantastic views."
Very close to some beautiful and interesting walks and central to the many attractions of north west Wales. The owner of the property is attentive and considerate. I can't fault it in any way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Had the most amazing time in Wales."
Our cottage was so lovely and cozy with everything we needed. The views are outstanding from the cottage so beautiful. The host was so lovely and welcoming and had made us homemade cake which was very welcome after a long journey. We hope to go back again some day. Can highly recommended.
-
"We loved our relaxing stay in North Wales."
The cottage has beautiful views all around, and is lovely and peaceful - the perfect relaxing place but equally well positioned to enjoy all that Snowdonia has to offer. We were lucky enough to be there during lambing season, which my children really loved. We loved coming back to the cottage every day after days out exploring the area. The cottage really is a home away from home - everything you need is there, plus a games room, washing facilities, enclosed garden and log burner. There are nice walks straight out the door across the countryside. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday!
-
"A lovely farmhouse high in the hills lots of walks from the door lambs in the fields bliss!"
-
"Very beautiful peaceful and comfortable."
Superb views. Was made very welcome.
-
"Helpful friendly owner."
Spectacular views from very comfortable, well equipped, warm cottage. Large gated garden brilliant for dog. Maybe update and smarten up information pack in cottage to include information about recycling and rubbish?
-
"Good location, lovely views, very comfortable, very quiet, definitely would go back again."
-
"The cottage was in a beautiful area with wonderful views."
The delicious scones and pretty flowers on arrival made us feel very welcome. Everything we needed and more were provided. The extra fridge and freezer was a welcome bonus! Great base for our days out and a welcome oasis to return to in the evenings!
-
"The cottage was well equipped and is brilliantly located to visit North Wales."
If you chose to stay there, don't miss the walk starting from the back of the church in the village, up to Lyn Elsie, it is truly magnificent.
-
"Fantastic cottage in peaceful and rural location with stunning views."
Lovely host, scones, milk and fresh flowers all in the cottage on arrival. We did some lovely walking from the cottage...to the Capel Garmin Burial Chamber and also into Betws y Coed (good to have an OS map) Good access to the A5 if you want to drive out further afield. Cottage has everything you need, comfy beds, great shower, comfy sofas and a really well equipped kitchen. The appliances were all good and easy to use ( fridge in kitchen, tall fridge, tall freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in outhouses) My Tesco order for a family of 4 arrived on the first evening which i'd recommend as smaller stores only nearby (Londis, Spar Co-Op type shops) Would highly recommend this cottage...we'll definitely be back
-
"Lovely, peaceful location with beautiful views."
Comfortable, clean, well equipped cottage. Helpful, welcoming owner - delicious scones on arrival! Just a few miles from Betws y Coed and a very easy drive to Snowdon and the Ogwen Valley.
-
"We enjoyed the cottage so much, it was like home from home to us, the views and walks from there were so good, we just enjoyed everything about it, would definitely recommend."
-
"This was a return visit to this cottage, the very fact that we have returned is testimony in itself."
We have stayed in other cottages but this is the only one to which we have returned. The cottage is set on a working hill farm so you will be close to sheep and goats you will see lots of birds and other wildlife, we arrived at the end of lambing season so it was lovely to see them playing in the fields on our doorstep. The cottage is surrounded by countryside, hills and amazing views, it is peaceful but not far from amenities should you wish to seek out something a little more social, subject to Covid-19 restrictions. The walking and climbing in the area is fantastic, we have walked up Snowdon in the past but we stuck to walking the hills, waterfalls and trails this time including a visit just over the hill to Capel Garmon Burial Chamber https://cadw.gov.wales/visit/places-to-visit/capel-garmon-burial-chamber and down the hill to Conwy Falls https://www.visitconwy.org.uk/things-to-do/conwy-falls-p277451, check out the visit wales website for other places to visit in the area, opening times, restrictions and to book visits on-line. We had an amazing time, very relaxing which was just what we needed. The cottage is very well equipped, I can't think of anything that you may need that isn't there, all equipment for cooking and a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, should you need them. There was tea and coffee, milk and lovely scones left out for our arrival. It was lovely to come back from our walks and set the multi-fuel fire and enjoy a glass of wine, it was so warm and cosy. There is a starter pack for the fire included and additional supplies to purchase left in the laundry room. Bedrooms and bathroom are lovely, clean, well equipped and well set out. Now to the owners, they are amazing and so lovely, Mrs Jones kept us informed all along the way, contacting us to arrange the key collection, she also called us en-route to inform us that we could arrive a little earlier. We had a visit the day after our arrival to check everything was okay but other than this we were left to enjoy our holiday, not at all intrusive but there if you need to call her to ask any questions or arrange anything. Such a lovely lady. We will certainly be booking another visit to this cottage and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
-
"Absolutely fantastic, for all family members Owners such a nice and friendly people."

"The detached cottage was lovely, clean, cosy and warm."
It exceeded our expectations. The rural location was much more than we had imagined. In fact we just sat outside the cottage for a day, just taking in the wonderful, breathtaking views! The owner of the property was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
-
"Really lovely peaceful rural location up a single track."
We enjoyed the seclusion and the beautiful views from the windows and walks leading from the house. The house itself is well equipped with extra fridge and freezer space in an outbuilding and washing machine. Beds comfortable, slept like a log. Feels very homely. Owner very friendly and approachable.
-
"Perfect family cottage set in beautiful countryside with amazing views."
Comfortable, warm facilities with good access to local amenities. Mrs Jones was an excellent host but never intrusive. Our grandchildren loved it
-
"We could not have asked for anything more."
The cottage is beautiful and cosy. When we arrived it was perfect, the owners had even left cake, milk and everything we needed for a nice cuppa on arrival. The views are spectacular and it is so peaceful. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer, free to use. There really is nothing they didn't think of. I have already, but will continue to sing the praises of this cottage. We cant wait to go back again. Thank you so very much!
-
"Lovely cottage, very peaceful, beautiful views; location excellent - lots to see and do!"
We had a lovely relaxing week. perfect holiday, very friendly neighbours and owners. Well equipped cottage and good weather. Couldn't have asked for more. The best cottage we've been to in North Wales. 10 stars ********** The Favager family

"The location of the cottage itself was lovely, however there were a few issues with the cottage, mainly things I wish i'd known before booking."
The main view window in the living room had a failed unit in it, where it was full of condensation and could not be looked out of properly meaning you couldn't enjoy the view from inside the house. The single beds in the twin room were very uncomfortable with springs sticking in my daughters back, in the end we swapped the mattress from the single bed in our room which was a little better. However my son still slept in the other bed, he's younger (ans lighter) so couldn't feel it as much. The games room was unusable with the games being broken, there were no darts for the darts board, the football table had broken arms on it which meant you couldn't use, my children were upset by this as i'd been talking about the games room for some time prior to the holiday. I think this was mis-advertised really as it was more of a hazard than a room for children to play in. The last two days of the holiday we had no hot water, we did contact the owner and she came right over however the problem couldn't be resolved meaning cold showers for the last two days which wasn't ideal. The owner was also still in the house when we were going out for the day so we had to leave the house unlocked which I didn't feel comfortable with. (everything was fine, it was just my personal opinion). This the fridge was very small, id been a bit over organised and ordered the food shop to come on the day of arrival however the fridge was so small we couldn't keep some of the food in it, this is a little picky on my part but something id wish id known prior so thought it might be worth mentioning for anyone else wanting to do the same. There was also no light in the extractor fan above the cooker, and the reclining chairs on the sofa didn't work. The good points were that it was lovely and quiet, we saw lots of wildlife and went for some nice walks around the local area.
Thank you for your comments. We are glad you enjoyed the area and the location of the cottage. It is a lovely part of the country and many people comment on the walks and the wildlife The feedback is not typical of the comments that the owner usually receives. The owner is on hand to resolve any issues that you may have during your stay and encourages Customers to report these to them I am sorry to hear that you had problems with the hot water - the owner did come around to the property straight away and sorted this by resetting the timers. Owners will only enter the property if they need to and dont want to interrupt your stay so will often stay in the cottage while you are out and about to get things fixed. The games room is used by all Customers and the owner would have been happy to sort the football table for you as it wasn't broken & also replace the extractor fan bulb for you. The windows are being replaced at the end of the season. The mattresses are in good working order. Feedback about items like this are often subjective as we all have different levels of comfort The owner has read all of the comments you made and has taken those onboard We hope to welcome you back in the future Property Owner

"We stayed here and drove down the valley to Snowdon and the Ogwen valley each day for some mountain walking, and it made a perfect base to come back to each night."
The kitchen was well equipped and the living room and bedrooms were all very comfortable - the living room also has a wood stove, with extra bags of logs available to buy. The bathroom was also good, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was very friendly and made us feel very welcome, making sure we had everything we needed for the week. There was also loads of parking space in front of the property.
-
"Idyllic location if you want to be away from it all, detached property surrounded by lambing fields, no disingenuous photographs of property unlike some others that make them look detached only to be semi or end of terrace."
Part of working farm with owners living remotely away from the let. Second time we have stayed & would not hesitate to stay again as local to Snowden, Betws Y Coed Conwy etc.
-
"Excellent location, beautiful and peaceful."
Lovely local walks and well positioned for many of the regions activities. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home and the owners are very friendly and helpful if required.
-
"Lovely rural setting, wonderful views, comfortable house."
The children enjoyed the games room and seeing the lambs in the field. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful and even popped by with Easter Eggs for the children at the end of our stay, which they loved! Close to Betys-y-Coed with Go Below Adventures at the end of the road and Zip World Forest not far away.
-
"Lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful location."
Good facilities, everything you could need in the kitchen as well as an outhouse with washing machine and dryer. The grounds are generous and fully enclosed so safe for children and pets.
-
"Really lovely cottage, one of the better ones I’ve stayed it."
Obviously a bit old in decor but everything we needed was at our finger tips and I can’t think of anything more that could have been provided. Also the views was remarkable and yet so close to key routes around Snowdonia.
-
"The location is wonderful."
Relaxing and quiet with amazing views of the hills and distant mountains. Plenty of birds to watch and the sheep provided a lovely ambience. Well signed walked around the area. The cottage is really well stocked with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The rooms were comfortable and well presented. The host was really helpful and ensured we had all we needed. Would definitely consider another holiday here.
-
"The peace and quiet of the area and spectacular scenery all contributed to a memorable holiday."
I would certainly consider returning to this holiday cottage.

"Stunning views in an ideal location"
-
"Had the opportunity to stay here in the most wonderful week of the year."
Loved the solitude, all we could hear were the sheep and the birds, pure bliss. Spacious accommodation with all the facilities you could ever need. The cottage lies in a stunning valley off a quiet road and is great if you want to really get away from the rat race. Perfect as a touring base to easily cover North and central Wales. Also had the pleasure in meeting and chatting to the owners who were friendly and helpful. In short we really enjoyed our stay.
-
"It was a lovely cottage and really great value."
The owners were so friendly and we especially loved our tour of the lambing sheds. Would highly recommend.
-
"We had a marvellous week facilitated by an excellent place to stay."
All needs catered for in a comfortable warm cottage. Even the wood stove was set up and ready to light!.
-
"Perfect place remote and beautiful."
-
"Fantastic location and very comfortable."
Ideal for walkers with dogs. The shortest route to Betws-y-Coed requires two road gates to be opened and closed, but this keeps the lane quiet.
-
"Owner where very welcoming, never intrusive but available if needed."
Location was great especially as we had young children and it was lambing time. Amazing views and good location for walking and coastal days out.
-
"Cottage was extremely well stocked with all you need better than we have ever had before ."
