"I had a lovely few days here with my elderly dog."
The property was clean and well equipped with a good, safe garden. Parking was perfect right outside the front door. I enjoyed the location and its access to wonderful beaches.
The steep, narrow stairs were a bit of a challenge for me at 80 but I managed.
All in all it was a good location and I enjoyed my stay very much.

A lovely size garden for our dog to run up and down, and a nice place to sit in the sunshine. Walking distance to the local beach, shop and pub. We will return for another stay.

"The description of the cottage is 100% accurate, everything you need but at a ‘no frills’ (perfectly acceptable for us) level and we had a relaxing holiday here."
The location was just what we wanted, there are beautiful walks from the door - the coastal path is about a 20 min walk down quiet lanes & across well signed footpaths and the views and beaches that you come across are stunning (the walk to Ty Coch pub is a must!). There are also pubs & a small shop within walking distance so we enjoyed some car-free days. Gareth replied to questions very promptly (we only had one regarding how to work the Sky box!)
The garden could do with some tlc, the one thing I missed was relaxing outdoor seating, as I do love sitting outside.
We would definitely return.

"We arrived late afternoon all instructions straight forward from Gareth the owner."
We found a nicely decorated cottage all very clean, well equipped kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space in the bedrooms . Only comment , an outside door mat and an inside rug in the entrance would be good. Great views from the back bedroom, nice long back garden to sit in.
We enjoyed some lovely long costal walks and a dip in the sea (fresh for early May). We enjoyed good meals at the Cliff Inn, the Lion and the Ship Inn ( 7 min walk) . Great relaxing time and trip down memory lane. Thank you Gareth for the stay.

If you want somewhwere clean, adequate, functional, warm and everything you need, then this is for you! The cottage is very clean, everything you need to have a nice holiday is there. It is easily large enough for 4 people or 2 adults and 2 children. The location is exellent for the local attractions and things to do. We had a fabulous 5 nights there revisiting sights from over 30 years ago when we were last in this area. Thuroughly enjoyed our stay. Thak you to the owner who was also very attentive.

"Very comfortable place with a well appointed kitchen with brand new equipment."
The weather didn't require the heating on, but if it works as well as the water then the cottage will be toasty. Gareth is friendly and very responsive to queries and requests. The property is in a very quiet location but placed strategically for visiting all the best spots on the Llyn peninsula. One to go back to

"A really great cottage to base our stay on the Llyn."
Cottage had everything we needed, the information folders were good and the basket of pamphlets is a great idea. Lots of good beaches and walks, locally and within a short drive. Would have liked another week to do more.

"Dwyros is a fantastic cottage surrounded by countryside, about a mile from the village and beach."
It is very spacious and there is plenty of storage. The kitchen has loads of cupboard space and work surfaces, with a full sized fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Everything is modern and clean. Gareth lives next door so is on hand if needed, and he called round once to check everything was okay but otherwise you wouldn't know he was there - it's all very quiet and peaceful with a glorious large back garden and superb views from the bedroom window. An ideal cottage for children (which we didn't have) as there is the large garden to run about in and a playground right next door. The back of the cottage is sunny all day and the front lovely and cool, just right after a hot day walking/paddling - we were very lucky with the weather and had wall to wall sunshine. The only additions to the cottage I would suggest are a coffee table and a coat rack, otherwise everything was perfect.
The local Costcutter (I guess you could walk there but we weren't that energetic!) is a real Tardis with delicious pies and pasties, and also ready made meals such as roast beef and yorkshire pudding, lasagne, curry, so you can avoid the hassle of cooking and the expense of eating out.
The Llyn Peninsula is really stunning with its mountains, soft golden sands, gently lapping waves and cliff walks. Nefyn beach is gorgeous, with a café right on the beach (felt sorry for the poor girl behind the counter as she was on her own and had to combine taking orders, payment, making sandwiches but stayed cheerful!) We were lucky to get one of the few car parking spaces right next to the beach, otherwise you have to park in one of the residential streets and walk down the very steep hill. Morfa Nefyn beach, which is adjacent to Nefyn beach, has a National Trust car park but we didn't visit that beach. There are not a lot of attractions in the area so I reckon you need the good weather to enjoy this part of Wales. Pwllheli, Criccieth and Aberdaeron are definitely worth a visit, we weren't so keen on Abersoch as it was very hilly and full of traffic, even though it was a weekday out of high season (first week in June). Also no disabled concessions or toilets in the car park, unlike the other towns. We also did a scenic drive up to Dinas, spectacular mountains and sea views, and there's an excellent café by the beach called Waves which was quite reasonably priced - seems difficult these days to get a lunch for under £10 each, but this had a few tasty options.
Many thanks to Gareth for providing such comfortable accommodation, we would definitely recommend Dwyros.

"Beautiful cottage with lovely views and a large back garden."
Perfectly placed near to a park which was great for the children. The owner was very helpful. We also found the manual regarding where to go and eat inside the property useful and helpful. The cottage itself had everything you need to make yourself feel right at home. I would reccomend to anyone else visiting the area.

"An excellent location for exploring the peninsula."
Comfortable accommodation with good kitchen facilities but plates too big for the dishwasher (caught the spinning spray). The village pub is currently closed, but close to Ty Coch (we drove to the NT car park). Excellent coastal walks a short drive away.

"I booked this property as a last minute break and stayed here with my four children over half term."
The cottage is cosy, cute and clean and has everything we needed for our stay. It is conveniently located next to a lovely play park and is within walking distance to the local pub and shop. It has a smart TV and WiFi which were great additions especially on rainy days and ample parking directly outside.
The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. We would definitely book to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore this beautiful area.

"A last minute, 4 night break after the family had all been down with Covid - a change of scenery was much desired!"
Used the Sykes app to search and decided on a trip to the Llyn Peninsula where we stayed at Dwyros cottage near Morfa Nefyn.
Never been to this part of Wales before and we loved it. The great weather helped, and we had three fab days out including two on the beach at Morfa Nefyn and Abersoch.
Dwyros is a small but clean cottage in a beautiful location surrounded by countryside yet within easy reach of the roads and local beaches. Kids were happy with wi-fi access too!
