  • "The house is lovely and very clean."

Lots of towels. Owners next door, available if needed. No noise. Kitchen has a lot of equipment. Small dining table, if there were 4 adults it might be a bit snug. Cottages ideal for 2 friends.

Sue & Steve, the owners live next door and are very friendly and helpful . The cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay . There are lovely walks from right outside the gate and the Old Three Pigeons Pub , a couple of miles away is a must visit !. The loudest noise we heard was from Billy the pheasant who turned up every day for his breakfast ! If you book this cottage , you will not be disappointed.

Truly the best cottage we have stayed in, Rustic and super cosy with everything you could wish to have for a short or long break. Spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard, this cottage is in a beautiful location which is so quiet and peaceful, yet, you wouldn’t believe it is close to the A5 which is great for travelling on days out, easy reach of Shrewsbury and all its shops and attractions, Telford, Ludlow and Oswestry a little further, but worth the effort. The owners Sue & Steve are on site and are great, friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile to make their guests stay a great experience, we will definitely be back.

  • "We enjoyed this isolated cottage set in the middle of a large cottage garden."

The owner was particularly careful about preparation of the cottage in view of the current pandemic. We enjoyed talking to the owners about the garden, the cats and how they had worked on the house and garden over the years. Although isolated, it is only about 800 yards from the A5 which makes it easy to reach.

Very well presented with decor and a beautiful garden, where we ate most of the time, where we also spotted many butterflies and birds!
