  Secure car parking adjacent to the apartment building. Easy self check in, with details provided by owner prior to arrival. Train station within 2 minutes walk, which we used to visit Llandudno rather than take the car ( 5 minute journey). Castle View pub highly recommended for food (15 minutes walk) Some more local bars & cafes were not open early in the week, during our stay.

  Good location and very clean on arrival. Lovely little extras provided.Only one small issue one of the sofa is extremely low and feels like the spring has gone ( the one nearest the TV) which makes if uncomfortable and difficult to get up from.

• "What a fantastic apartment."

  Everything you could need was provided (and lots of extras too) The apartment was comfortable and spotless and had the most amazing views. The train station being on the door step (literally!) was really helpful and we used the bus stop which is 2 minutes away as well. • "Picture on website is not a picture of the appartment, it was nice and clean, all the facilites you could need, but needs a new mattress as it has got 3 toppers on it, also 1 settee springs have gone and you sink right into it, settee needs replacing, 2 reclining armchairs would be better for older persons."

  overall a lovely appartment, beautiful views.

  The outside picture on the website is of the whole building. All internal pictures are true to the apartment. We have 2 thin toppers on the mattress due to comments from previous guests who felt that the mattress was too firm. The mattress itself is in very good condition. From inspection the settee springs are in perfect order but will consider a firmer one when we replace it. We make every effort to please our guests. We hope this did not spoil the enjoyment of your holiday. Property Owner

• "The Moorings is an ideal get away location for a couple."

  Perfectly positioned between Conwy and Llandudno, an easy walk along the coastal paths to either are literally on your door step. Beautiful views across the estuary and beyond, and of Conwy Castle. If you're looking to head into Snowdonia, The Moorings is also an ideal base. Half hour drive to Betws-y-Coed or jump the train along the north Wales coast line. The Moorings is modern, very well equipped, comfortable and secure. The hosts are very attentive and couldn't have made us more welcome. It was the prefect place to spend a relaxing Christmas and it's highly likely we'll return.

• "First class property."

  Couldn’t possibly ask for better self catering accommodation. Everything is provided for, it’s a very comfy apartment with fantastic views over the estuary. Very well situated too, with buses and train station close at hand. I would highly recommend this property. The only minor criticism is poor wi-fi connection.

  Gated parking is a big help. Easy access in to the Welsh mountains , beaches and isle of Anglesey . The 5.45 train makes a great alarm clock to start your fun packed day. Definitely go back if we are staying in the area again.

  The owners provided everything for an enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing holiday. The views were so marvellous it was often difficult to leave for a day out. The location was ideal for local walking to Conwy and Llandudno. It was fairly easy to access walks and visits further afield in Snowdonia. Food shopping was also near at hand and the owners had provided a comprehensive booklet of both local restaurants and advice on operating the apartments tv and kitchen devices. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable week which we will not only return but recommend to friends and family.

• "The apartment is well equipped, comfortable and in a great location with excellent sunset views."

  There are miles of coastal path on the doorstep and the train link to Llandudno junction opens up a lot of North Wales. There is train noise from early in the morning but we were expecting this so took earplugs and weren’t bothered at all. We did have an issue with the cleanliness of the apartment - I had to deep clean the oven, bathroom and toilet and washing machine just so they were hygienic enough to use. The pillows and duvet needed a good drench with linen spray to eliminate some stale odours. I could see that the apartment had been fully booked for several weeks before us so am assumed that this was a build up of dirt, grease and mould from a busy season and we were unlucky. Hopefully with a little breathing space over the winter the owners can restore it to its full potential, because it really is a cracking apartment.

  I am very sorry that you did not find the apartment's cleanliness up to your standard. This is the first negative feedback we have had regarding this. But pleased that the rest of your stay was enjoyable. Property Owner

• "We were absolutely delighted with the apartment (no 23 Deganwy Castle) and would recommend it to other couples."

  The views from the sitting room were fabulous and it was lovely to have our breakfast with the bi-folding doors open, looking out over the Conwy estuary. The apartment is well stocked with everything you might need (and other things you may not have realised you needed too!). The location is excellent for either walking into Llandudno or Conwy (both lovely walks of a couple of miles along the shoreline), the restaurants in Deganwy (although we found that a couple of them were closed during the time we were there due to the Covid situation) and driving out into North Wales or Anglesey. It was also useful to have on-site parking. For food shopping, there is a decent Co-Op and quite a large Lidl close by, with other supermarkets not far away. All in all, we had a great holiday at the Moorings and hope to return there in the future.

  There"s a very well equipped kitchen with plenty of cupboards & the owner had left milk, biscuits & Welsh cakes, which was a very nice touch The bedroom has plenty of cupboards & hanging space. The only criticism is that the mattress is very hard & uncomfortable. This was our second stay & we would definitely visit again.

  It's a lovely cosy apartment with fabulous views across to Conwy castle & the sea. Just a few minutes walk to the shore & is Ideally situated for walks to Llandudno & Conwy or touring round the area. • "This flat is absolutely fabulous."

  On the second floor with superb views towards Conwy and Castle made all the better by bi fold doors with Juliette balcony bringing the outside in. Another aspect is a superb view of Puffin Island and Anglesey. Just watching the tides go in and out is relaxing. It is perfectly situated for coastal walk to Llandudno or to jump on the train or bus to Llandudno or Betws y Coed and beyond. We discovered that you can pay by credit card on the train as there is no facility at Deganwy to purchase tickets. Whilst the trains run close to the flat on the way to Llandudno they did not pose a great intrusion. Our every comfort was catered for by the owners re good quality facilities provided. Good size refrigerator and freezer - more than enough room for ice for our G & Ts!! Best of all is that everything works. Clear instructions from the owner made access to the flat and secure gated car park easy. Would highly recommend.

  Always changing....lots of things to watch. Only downside are the trains immediately under the apartments, frequent but not overnight , thank goodness! This was our second visit & may not be our last we hope. Unfortunately , on this occasion we had to lose two days at the end due to a family bereavement.
