  • "Absolutely blewaway with the Decor and the furnishings and fittings were really good and it was so nice and clean and looked very cosy a surprise welcome pack was really lovely and so much appreciated."

The Beds were so comfortable and the showers were so warm and inviting we loved the view from the kitchen window and there was so much space to move around it was a pity the weather was quite dismal but it didn't spoil our holiday we did manage to go to Llandudno to do some gift shopping and enjoy a walk and we also went into Ruthin and had coffee and a visit to the craft centre there. I would like to say a big thank you to Coleen and Gwyn for providing such a lovely place to stay for a holiday. God bless you. Alison.Stephen& Jennifer.

** Our family just spent a few days at Coedfan, and we loved every single minute! The house itself is beautifully maintained, cozy, and full of charm. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking views of nature all around. Col, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Our family made some incredible memories here, and we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a relaxing escape with loved ones, Coedfan is the perfect spot. We highly recommend it!

  • "Perfect escape!"

We have booked with Sykes before and I like how they keep you well informed every step of the way. I would recommend this large cottage 100%. We had a lovely time at Coedfan, Ruthin, it is a good base to explore North Wales, There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, you can go on countryside walks from the front door, we visited Llangollen and popped on the train to Corwen, 40 minutes away is Chester Zoo, Coedfan is beautiful inside and out from the fully equied kitchen, to the wrap around garden, one of my favourite things was to sit out on the back patio and enjoy the country/hillside views with a cuppa, lovely big rooms, excellent furniture and fittings, with big comfy beds, so very clean and the views are amazing, it was a lovely touch having cakes on arrival and a nespresso machine (with pods provided) plus other essentials, yes we will definitely be returning. We did not want to leave.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, we look forward to welcoming you and your family again. Property Owner

  • "This was our 2nd time at Coedfan and it will be our last."

Our whole holiday was ruined by lack of swift action by the owners in removing a wasps nest that was by the main entrance steps and which I reported with a few hours of us arriving. Nothing was done about this until the Wednesday 6 days into our holiday, after repeatedly contacting the owners. Unable to sit outside at the rear patio where all the views are due to number of wasps and unable to open any rear windows. Sleep was disturbed due to wasps making nest in walls. Outside bins were full when we arrived on the Friday and were not emptied by owners until Tue. Had to get rid of rubbish myself! Hoover was full of dirt and dust when we went to use it and there was no dust pan or brush to clean any crumbs up etc. Bitterly disappointed with this holiday and attitude of owners who failed to ensure the property was ready to let out and failed to act swiftly to make sure our holiday wasn't ruined.....it most definitely was.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I'm very sorry to hear that you feel your holiday was ruined by the wasps nest. I am equally saddened by the amount of facts you have chosen to omit. When you contacted us on arrival, we responded immediately, and very apologetically explained that we were away that weekend. We assured you we were returning Monday night and also offered you alternative access to the property bypassing the wasps nest, which you were happy with. After returning, I contacted you Tuesday to make sure you were happy for me to empty the outside bins and assess the nest. Unfortunately, pest control weren't available until the following day. As soon as I had confirmation of the visit, I communicated this to you. I have made our housekeepers aware of the oversight regarding the hoover, we have a team of very good housekeepers as is evident from previous reviews. I'm sorry you didn't manage to find the dustpan, it is always stored under the kitchen sink. I am disappointed with the way this letting ended, however, I believe we acted on the wasps nest, as fast as we could. Property Owner

  • "This was our second stay and we really love this property."

We were a party of five covering three generations of a family, so the spaciousness of the interior of the bungalow was really welcome. We were lucky with the weather - every day was fine, dry and sunny - which enabled us to make full use of the outdoor seating areas. Both the front area (garden) and the rear area (views across fields to the hills) have high quality garden furniture. We would hope to return for a third stay in the future.

It was great to have you and your family back again Brian, and thank you for another lovely feedback. Property Owner
