The property

Corwen 2.4 miles.

Bryn Bras is a contemporary-style yet charming detached bungalow resting in the Corwen countryside in Denbighshire.

Living up to its Welsh name, Bryn Bras is surrounded by luscious, rolling green hills, just on the edge of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape, and makes a lovely base for families, friends or couples, looking to escape to a scenic part of North Wales.

A gated, private driveway leads up the property, where ample off-road parking makes offloading bags easy.

Inside, the bright and airy open-plan living space is sure to be the heart of the home, where a skylight and patio doors allow in plenty of natural light.

Here, you can find a well-equipped kitchen, with all the home comforts you need for rustling up home favourites, a dining table to enjoy meals at, and two sofas, perfect for relaxing whilst the chef of the group cooks up a storm.

Just off the open-plan space is a handy utility which blends seamlessly and houses a washing machine for your clothes and towels.

Moving through the property, a sitting room with a woodburning stove invites you to unwind after a day of walking; what better place to cosy up with a crackling fire?

When sleep calls, choose from two king-size and a twin bedroom to catch your rest, two of which have beautiful countryside views to wake up to.

Finishing off the interior are two shower rooms, meaning there’s plenty of space to freshen up in the mornings.

Outside, the garden provides the ultimate viewpoint for your morning coffee in the fresh air, with a picnic bench so you can dine alfresco in the warmer months.

When you’re ready to head out and explore, the delightful town of Corwen is just a couple of miles away, where you can stock up on your essentials or pop to a café should you not fancy cooking.

Alternatively, the Rhug Estate, renowned for its sustainability and idyllic walk through the grounds and near the buffalo farmland, has a quality farm shop with indoor and outdoor dining areas, as well as a drive-thru if you’re en route to your next day-trip destination.

The popular town of Llangollen makes a lovely day out for all the family; following a picturesque route along the A5, before reaching the town centre, where a bridge over the dramatic River Dee takes centre stage.

Llangollen has a good selection of pubs and restaurants, as well as quaint shops and stunning views of the surrounding hills.

Further afield, the town of Bala, known for Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) provides watersports activities and lovely walks around the perimeter.

Slightly further again is the stunning Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, for more challenging days out, or simply exploring the charming towns and villages rooted in the quintessentially Welsh surroundings.

Bryn Bras is a gorgeous home in a perfect area, ideal for your next holiday in Wales.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £350.
