  • "Worth it for the view alone."

Only drawback was the living room was accessed through the upstairs bedroom which made it awkward until everyone was up, but it didn’t spoil our stay.

  • "Sylvia was truly a brilliant host; who was very helpful and made us feel very welcome in addition to sharing her lovely cat Penny The view from The Barn is truly spectacular; a view I could never tire of."

It is peaceful and quiet and makes a great base to explore from; knowing on your return there are comfortable chairs and comfortable beds to relax. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need or want and on arrival we were greeted with a very generous welcome pack. There were also, lots of little thoughtful, personal touches, like fresh flowers in the lounge and a personal welcome note. Thank you again Sylvia for a really lovely holiday.

  • "This is a superb Barn."

Extremely comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Wonderful views as far as you can see. Sylvia, the owner, is very kind and helpful and we enjoyed our chats. Only bit of advice is the directions when you reach the lane. On reaching the wide left hand bend it is only a short distance before turning left onto another lane which is easily missed. Could highly recommend.

  • "The Barn provided excellent accommodation which answered our every need thus ensuring that we enjoyed a lovely week in comfort and ease."

Equipped to a very high standard the Barn is nestled in beautiful countryside with amazing panoramic views. The Barn is adjacent to the owner's property so she is on hand should any queries arise and Silvia was friendly and helpful offering useful local knowledge. The Barn offers peace and quiet in wonderful surroundings but is also a great base for exploring North Wales.

Thanks so much for your very positive feedback. I’m so glad that you enjoyed your time and that the location meant you had a relaxing stay. Hope you had a safe trip home. Property Owner

  • "Quite a lot of cobwebs and spiders which need to be addressed."

Sylvia is a lovely lady whom we had the pleasure of meeting several times during our stay along with her adorable cat Penny. We were greeted with an excellent welcome pack including a bottle of Prosecco. The view from the lounge window is beautiful. Would not recommend the property for anyone with mobility issues due to there being a spiral staircase. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Sylvia.

Thanks for the feedback, I will speak to the cleaners to address any issues about cobwebs and spiders. Really glad that you enjoyed the welcome pack and that the location made it a good stay for you. Property Owner

  • "It was a beautiful location, which was wonderfully quiet."

Sylvia left some wonderful gifts for us on arrival, which were lovely after a 6-hour drive! The wifi was hit and miss, but particularly non-existent in the evenings. Given its rural location, that's not to be unexpected. We enjoyed our stay and loved the area for pottling, walking and cycling. The recommendation of the local Raven Inn was a particular gem.

Thanks for your kind feedback and I’m really glad that you enjoyed the welcome pack after your long drive. Really sorry about the problems with WiFi and I am working with BT to try and get the evening issues when the feedback drops resolved. Glad you enjoyed the Raven Inn. Property Owner

  • "Lovely well appointed cottage with great views across the hills from the first floor large window in the lounge."

The owner added some nice touches by leaving cakes, wine, milk and fruit in the kitchen. There is a spiral staircase from the kitchen to first floor that could be a bit challenging to anyone who has a mobility problem, fortunately we managed it fine.

Thank you for the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed the welcome pack items. Look forward to seeing you again. Property Owner

The cottage is well equipped, clean and comfortable but most of all the views are amazing. We took full advantage of the local area and can highly recommend the village pub The Raven for Sunday lunch and evening meals. The village is picturesque with great walks in the hills and a lovely community shop. We would love to return!
