  • "Great central cottage, clean and small"

  • "We had a lovely stay in Teulu."

The only small issues was the gap in the shower panel was small, which could be an issue if you or any of your party are on the larger side. Centrally located in Llangollen close to lots of places to eat and drink , though if you wish to cook at Teulu, the kitchen has everything you need. Our dog struggled with the stairs to the kitchen, so had to stay in the living room.

Hi Tracy. Thank you for your time in leaving us feedback. We are glad you had a lovely stay in Llangollen & for the most part, enjoyed your stay with us. We do completely understand about the shower, the gap can be on the tight side. We’re looking into options to change it, so this is something that we will address in the near future. I’m sorry that your dog wasn’t able to make the stairs to the kitchen, they are steep & this is mentioned in the description. We will however, make a point of emphasising this in relation to dogs & small children. We sincerely hope that you have found your stay with us good overall & that you’d stay at Teulu if you were visiting North Wales again. Property Owner

  • "Really great stay at Teulu, beautiful house, very central but very quiet too and lovely and cool inside given the sunny hot weather."

The 4 floors of the property certainly kept us fit and we enjoyed many board games sat at the big kitchen table in the basement.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback Paul, we really appreciate it! We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Teulu. Both our families value time spent playing board games & cards, it was tradition! You & your family are welcome back anytime you find yourselves in North Wales! Property Owner

  • "A very comfortable and clean home within about 30-seconds walk of groceries and everything great Llangollen has to offer."

Highly recommended. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Coffee pods for the machine were a nice touch and very appreciated. Netflix included on the TV kept the kids happy after long days out. As a tall person (6'3") I do have to warn anyone else tall that you are guaranteed to bang your head. Several door frames are well below regular height, and you will need to duck in most of the kitchen. It's not a bad mark on the house or the owner, as it's just because of the age of the house, but I did hit my head several times so keep that in mind. Everyone else who was <6-foot was perfectly fine though.

Everyone involved with Teulu & transforming it to the home it is, are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We have worked hard on the house & tried to offer items that are useful to our guests. Llangollen is truly a magical little place, with so much on offer! Appreciate your comments about the height of the doorways/kitchen, & as you say, this is due to the age & quirkiness of the property. We hope to see you back again in the future. Property Owner

  • "The house is absolutely lovely!"

Very spacious. Great location! The steps are quite narrow and are difficult with kids, but easily blocked off. It was the perfect place to stay and we hope to be back!

Thank you so much for your positive response, we’re so glad you all had a lovely stay. We’re proud of our little place, & yes the stairs can be steep, that is the nature of its quirkiness. We hope this didn’t hinder your stay too much, & the kids enjoyed it too we would welcome you back again, anytime! Property Owner

  • "We had a great stay at Teulu."

The cottage is situated in a perfect location. It's a quirky little cottage with a spacious and well equipped underground kitchen. We didn't use our car for 3 days since there are loads of walks starting just from the doorstep. Lots of pubs and places to eat too. The cottage has been furnished well. The bathroom is a bit on the small side and if you are very tall or a bit bigger you might not be able to use the shower since the entrance to it is a bit narrow. For us that wasn't a problem but it might be good to mention it in the description.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback, we are really pleased you enjoyed the area, the walks are spectacular! We also appreciate the feedback on the shower & the bathroom. We are aware that the gap can be small for some. We are going to look at this moving forward, & look to change the entrance to the shower. Property Owner

It was perfectly located to enjoy Llangollen and the surrounding area. Plenty to do even when it rains with lots of good places to eat within walking distance. The house was immaculately clean and had everything you would need to feel at home. We would definitely stay again.

Thank you so much for your kind words & complements on our house & the beautiful town of Llangollen. We really appreciate it & glad you all had a great stay! You would be welcomed back if you decided to visit again. Property Owner
