  • "Lovely location and a great view."

Hot tub was great. Was comfortable - recommended the owner gets a full size sofa. Lovely deck to sit and enjoy the view and quiet. Whatthreewords is incorrect, should be ///backpacks.items.statement. Overall the place was clean but would recommend the owner getting a long duster to clean the high areas of spiders.

  • "We have just returned from a week holiday at Capel Park with our two little dogs."

If you want a relaxing, chilled out holiday then this is the place. The views from the front porch are amazing and it's great to relax with a glass of wine in the evening. The property is situated within easy reach of all major Anglesey attractions whilst still retaining its peace and tranquility. The owners are very friendly and welcoming whilst maintaining a distance. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return. Thank you Keith, Jacquie, Bonny&Willow

  • "Lots of potential Definitely needs a hanger rail for clothes Toilet and shower block could be much improved and the listing doesn’t state it’s approximately 40mts away from the property."

Lovely garden and view Had issues with the hot tub due to Sykes not passing on the requested use . Really hard one to review but in summary we’d say . Lots of potential just a bit of tweaking to improve the whole package.

  • "Thank you Nathan and Myf for having us , cheers Nathan for taking Leon on a tractor ride The room was spacious enough, the bed was really comfy , all other facilities were great , lovely surroundings and views , we were lucky to have a week of sun Everything was was great but I’m sure future guests would appreciate a clothes rail , a decent sofa as the little one is too low down and if a mop and bucket was left there it would be ideal as the floor does get grubby ."

. the hot tub takes around 5 hours to heat up to 35 c so would be best to ask owner to turn it on in advance as it keeps being turned off ( it gets really warm ) Thanks to you both , only adding my comments as it just need tweaking slightly.. good luck with your future projects and see you again Steve and Leon

We requested an extra night 3 weeks before our arrival date and Sykes kept saying they could not get hold of the vendor We spoke to the vendor and he said that was not true they had heard nothing from Sykes about our stay very frustrating The toilet is outside but is at least 300 yds from cottage and difficult as I was recovering from surgery Not suitable if you are a frequent visitor Host was lovely would recommend but with clear info about the toilet

  • "The property is lovely and so peaceful and quiet."

The hosts are very helpful, kind and friendly. We had lovely days out with nice walks along beaches and the coastal path and also did the boat trip to Puffin Island. After your day out it’s lovely to sit in the garden or on the veranda having a drink. We loved going in the hot tub in the evenings. We would definitely recommend this property.

You will hear nature surrounded by you with birds happily singing. The location is very convenient to visit South Stack, Newborough forest & Dingle Reserve. It is nice to sit down on the deck chairs to enjoy the sunset or bbq after the walks. Nathan the host is really friendly & helpful, we have enjoyed the stay.

  • "The location of the property was amazing and very quiet and relaxing."

The cooking facilities were somewhat lacking and there were very limited utensils. The advertised hot tub kept being turned off and eventually the owners requested we switched it on when we needed it and turned it off afterwards but due to the delay in this being conveyed we were unable to use the hot tub on all days we were there. There was a BBQ and a fire pit but no wood or charcoal was made available to purchase. As there is no TV Ariel the only option is to stream the TV, but this was sometimes very difficult due to it buffering.

The views from the sheltered veranda, (and large windows inside) were great. Such a peaceful and restful place, and convenient for exploring the island. The property was clean and comfortable, and my dog loved the fields to explore directly from the property. Thank you to the owners for their friendly, thoughtful help, and kindness.

The facilities are great; a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, heater in bathroom, hot tub, a covered deck area and a large secure garden for the dog. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and the bottle of fizz was a lovely touch on arrival. The location is a great base to reach all parts of the island and has fabulous views. • "We had the most relaxing, peaceful stay at Capel park /Tyddynod Bach !"

Staying here was the best decision for our weekend away in Wales. The interior was very modern, clean and cosy. The bed was comfortable and it was lovely waking up having breakfast on the covered terrace overlooking the countryside. The hot tub was amazing and great to relax in after days walking and exploring. The location was perfect for us only a short drive to the local pubs, restaurants and Anglesey's wonderful beaches and other attractions as well as only being 40 minutes from Snowdon! The hosts really made our stay, they couldn’t do enough for us and had great attention to detail. They made our Valentine’s Day really special so thank you so much and we can’t wait to return!

Benllech and Moelfre, on the east coast are 7 miles away; Snowdonia 25 miles.
The former market town of Llanerchymedd is located in the heart of picturesque Anglesey, providing a gateway to the superb beaches around the coastline. Llanerchymedd was once home to a thriving cobblers’ industry with over 250 shoemakers in the town and numerous corn mills to provide food for the cobblers and also to supply the traders at the market. The village now offers a smaller community feeling, with two village pubs and the old station cafe serving food, a small village shop, chip shop and launderette, which should provide for most of your daily needs. The freshwater reservoirs of Llyn Cefni and Llyn Alaw offer an attractive circular walk and numerous country paths. Closeby is Mynydd Bodafon Mountain, a picturesque beauty spot to enjoy picnics and walks. Moelfre and Benllech are the nearest coastal villages on the east coast. Moelfre is a delightful fishing village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque pebbled beach, a working lifeboat station and two quality pubs and restaurants. There are stunning sandy beaches nearby at Benllech, Lligwy and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and birdlife. Within these areas there are many eateries for you to choose from.
