  • "A great apartment & lovely location to discover North Wales."

There was plenty of parking around our location & a short walk to the high street. I would highly recommend.

  • "The access to this flat is up a very steep flight of 30 stone steps, which were slippery in the rain."

It was a struggle carrying luggage up the steps, and the description is not really accurate. This access is definitely not suitable for everyone, or for children under 8 or 9 years. It would be dangerous in my view to try to carry younger children up as the steps are steep. The description should be amended to provide a warning about the steps. Otherwise A quite pleasant well situated flat. Lovely views. Clean and well equipped but some of the crockery was chipped so replacements needed. Little storage space, no wardrobe hanging for clothes. Beds not very comfortable and cannot close door in the twin bedroom, bedding well used but clean. Would be a squash for 4 adults. Try the Australia pub for food, limited other places.

  • "Great location and views."

Dont expect to step out of the door onto the shared decking, its up another flight of stone steps and through a gate. The gas fire is for “display” only and doesnt work? The toaster trips out the electricity and the bathroom door doesnt close, no shelves in fridge. Apart from that, enjoy your stay.

Thanks for your comments the points made were resolved straight away after you brought them to our attention. In fairness the description doesn’t say that the shared decking is immediately outside the flat and there are only 3 more steps so not excessive . Property Owner

  • "Great location on the harbour, next to 2 restaurants and just a short walk to the high street and the beaches in borth-y-gest."

Everything you need is provided in the apartment with extras like DVDs books and games in case of a rainy day. We had an enjoyable stay in porthmadog.

  • "Lovely little property."

Kept well and in good condition and very clean. It is well equipped with everything you need. Our only complaint in all honesty would be the bed and pillows. Very uncomfortable mattress and felt like you were rolling into the middle with very thin uncomfortable pillows. It’s a Shame because of this I would not stay again. The flat is in a great location with everything on your doorstep. Great for exploring snowdonia National park and close enough for most paths on Snowdon.

  • "Room with a View."

Beautiful well presented flat with clean bedrooms and most importantly instant fast hot shower. Generally shower water comes slow in other properties but in this property fast water pressure and amazing. All shops and activities are walking distance. Highly recommended any one wants to have a good break in Wales. Love Wales. Seaside is nearby. Worth every penny. This is my first booking with Sky Cottage and Steve is a wonderful host without a dought. Thank you for a briliant memory of Wales.

The harbour suite is a wonderful property the only thing i would recommend is to have a hand rail and some sort of lighting on the stone steps

Thanks Helena believe it or not we are in the process of having a handrail fitted having just got planning permission . Thanks for the feedback . Steve Property Owner
