"This is a lovely spacious property with lots of room for the 6 of us."
It is hard to find a house in a town with adequate parking but this is excellent. It is a very short walk to the park in one direction and the town with cafes and pubs in the other. The proximity to the A5 (over the wall) didn’t bother us at all but we are all good sleepers. The owners left wine which was a kind thought but we would prefer coffee and biscuits! The house was very clean with the exception of the cooker which, I think, is due for a professional clean. We have stayed in many cottages but this is the first time I’ve left wanting to come back.

"Very nice property, comfortable and well equipped."
One drawback, the traffic noise, which was quite loud in the front and one of the rear bedrooms. A very secure property with a nice outside area, which was also good for our dogs. Wine supplied by the owner was well received. Thank you

"In the downstairs master i could not shave due to the mirror being just a small cabinet and no lighting above the mirror."
Everything else was excellent.
-
"A lovely spacious house in a perfect location."
The picturesque stream and play area behind was perfect for our family. With only a few minutes walk to the town one way and the supermarket the other it couldn't have been better. We had a lovely week and can definitely recommend.
-
"We had a lovely stay in this house which is very well equipped, comfortable close to all the amenities in Llangollen and with several walks right from the door."
The owners are keen for their visitors to enjoy their stay and are very helpful. The wine was greatly appreciated! We would not hesitate to stay here again.
-
"A really comfortable stay."
Plenty of room and kitchen well equipped. Everything we could have asked for.
-
"Great location easy parking easy walk into town with plenty of choice of cafes Shops & Restaurants"
-
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Beeches."
Very comfortable and warm, cosy property with great facilities. Great location on the edge of town, walking distance to shops, cafes etc and lovely walks along the canal and river. The only downside was that the showers were a bit of a challenge. The water flow was generally poor and we couldn't run a tap in any part of the house if someone was in the shower as the flow was even slower. Not a major problem though. We would definitely come back to this lovely house.

"This was our second visit and we were not disappointed."
We booked for a large family get together which the property easily accommodates. The cottage is very well equipped and in a superb location, we hardly used the car as there is so much to do locally. Everything you need is within walking distance, including local shops, supermarket, children’s playground, river walks, canal and railway trips plus lots of places to eat. The enclosed space at the rear of the property is ideal for children, and our dogs, with a converted shed for use in unpleasant weather. Lots of outdoor seating if the weather is suitable. The owner is extremely helpful and does everything to ensure your stay is enjoyable. They are only a phone call away if you do need anything. Would highly recommend a visit and hope to return again next year.

"We booked for a multigenerational family stay and the houseworked perfectly well for us."
There is a children's park at the back (with a mini golf) and Llangollen is a very easy walk away (5-10 minutes max) and of course you can walk along the riverside. The owners were very responsive to a simple enquiry turning up the next day with some kitchen scales - they pride themselves on making sure everything is available for guests. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped (one of the best we have had) and even the weather was better than expected!

"A gem of a property well equipped fantastic location have rebooked."
-
"It was comfortable for the whole family, plenty of space to be together or have quiet times."
Outside flat and safe for young children and dogs. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need to cook for a large family. Outside a BBQ clean and like new condition. Outside sheltered space too with converted shed with seating should the weather change . A great inside outside space. Behind the garden is the park and playground.. crazy golf and cafe.. short flat walk of 5 mins to Aldi and Home Bargains s to your right. To your left a river, picturesque walk of 4 mins into the historic town of Llangollen. Plenary of independent shops, cafes and pubs. You can walk up to the canal and take the horse drawn barge. This maybe a challenge walk I’d you have difficulties.. 15-20 mins drive to the Aqua Duct. The city of Wrexham about 30 mins, we managed to get a ticket for the Saturday home game.. Betws-Y-Coed is worth a visit. It’s at the beginning of the Snowdonia national Park with lots of viewing points along the way. A week was not enough and can’t wait to come back..

"Lovely house in walking distance to all amenities."
Lovely river views, next to park and near to Aldi. We had a lovely stay at this house.
-
"The property was really lovely, spacious, well laid out and had everything we needed ( except a hairdryer which was surprising)."
Loved the outdoor space too and the large garden shed room with its own duke box ! It was great to be so near the park, playground, riverside walk and only a short stroll to town centre , canal and railway etc. A great property to get family together to enjoy time away together.
-
"Comfortable, spacious house."
Clean and well equipped; plenty of crockery, cutlery etc if needed. Wi-fi connection not good. Cooker hood was greasy & dusty, otherwise no complaints.
-
"Lovely accommodation plenty of parking & so close to the town"
-
"This property was absolutely perfect for our needs."
We had a family get together, the first in over 20 years and the property provided us with everything we could wish for. Very close to town and local attractions, 5 good size bedrooms, a comfortable lounge and a dining area to seat all of us. the Kitchen had every item needed and the whole place was clean and spacious. I marked comfort down by one star as I found my mattress a little to firm for me, a personal thing I know. Thank you very much to the owners a fantastic property

"The property was exactly as described and ideal for our large family get together."
There were eight adults and two children and we had loads of space. We were able to park all ours cars with plenty of room. It contains everything you need to make your stay really enjoyable. The owner was so helpful in providing extra baby equipment for the youngest member of our party. There are lovely views from the property and a nice outside seating area. The house is ideally situated with just a short walk to all the amenities, such as riverside walk, park, local shops, restaurants/cafes and local attractions. We didn’t use the car, although there are also many other places to visit within easy driving distance if you want. Would like to thank the owner for making our stay so special. We would love to be able to return next year.
-
"A lovely house in a good spot in Llangollen with so much to do locally."
Very helpful owner.
-
"This property has a lovely location and surroundings, so much is in walking distance."
A park and river exist to the rear of the property and Aldi and B&M stores within a 5 minute walk. Eateries, takeaways and local shops in town are a also a short walk away. We were a group of 9, 4 adults and 5 children. The room and bathroom layout suited our needs very well. All key utensils and equipment were available to use including the obligatory beer bottle opener. Seating was in abundance given space in the conservatory and living rooms. The owners were supportive on queries and were kind enough to leave a welcome pack of wine. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would seriously consider coming back.
-
"The house was really well positioned close to the town centre."
It was spacious and more than adequate for two families.
-
"You could not fault this holiday home ."
Spacious: comfortable , cozy . Well stocked kitchen . Dining area ideal plenty of room for a family meal and chat . Ticked ever box .taking your pet a real bonus ..no doggie smell anywhere in the property . Garden area plenty of garden furniture..sun trap . Town centre minutes away . Would highly recommend The Beeches to people who holiday in style. Would return in a heartbeat.

"Excellent holiday home for large group."
Location was perfect as was the layout of the house.
-
"Plenty of space for our party of 10 adults."
Ideally situated for walking to pubs, restaurant's and shops as well as local attractions including the canal
-
"Great property, loads of space, comfortable and well maintained."
-
"Really lovely home."
Great location, with a lovely short walk along the river into town. Back of the home overlooks the park and the river.Lots of space for us to spread out, and the kids all had their own room which they lovedplus good wi-fi which is so important nowadays, especially with kids in tow. Good that there is parking for 3 cars, especially with it being in the town. Lots of lovely places to eat. Owners very quick to respond to any queries. Only thing that could make it even better is if there was a dryer in the home, but that is the only thing I could think of . We would love to visit again and hope to book again in the near future.
-
"Well equipped accommodation and really helpful host."

Great location for town or a walk along the river , big enough for 6 adults to rattle around without being on top of each other , plenty to do locally
-
"Perfect location, lovely roomy house and catered for all ages, even an elderly relative with mobility problems, and two very young children."
Lovely area . Our second stay and hope to come back soon. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.
-
"Beautiful house in a fantastic location."
Shops and restaurants within minutes walking distance and a beautiful riverside park almost on your doorstep! Lots of things to see and do close by.
-
"The house was spacious and comfortable."
There was plenty of parking space. The kitchen under cupboard lights were not working, neither were the lights over the hob. The ignitor on 2 of the gas rings was not working. We were rather taken aback by the greeting of Dee Whiting, one of the owners, when she and her family arrived to clean the house on the morning we left. We were loading the last items into our vehicle at 10.10 when they arrived, and about to lock up. Her only words were 'You were supposed to be out by 10'. Her husband subsequently had a more pleasant conversation with us before we set off.
-
"Really lovely family home, ideal for a proper family holiday in a great location."
Everybody in our party was delighted with the facilities, the kids loved the music room, what an excellent idea. Will be booking again.
-
"The property was not very clean we spent a good hour cleaning the BBQ ."
They was constant noise from traffic which kept us awake all night which should be mentioned on the information. The owner offered a stair gate as we were traveling with a baby it did not fit so i rang the owner who was not very helpful.
-
"Beautiful clean house, very comfortable beds and also very well equipped with everything you need for a family holiday."
Loved the summer room and the rear patio/garden area is perfect for sitting out if the weather allows. Well equipped with barbecue facilities if needed but not something we used but would appeal to many. Couldn't have a better location for Lovely Llangollen, park is just behind the house and perfect for those with young children and families who like river walks. Town center is just a couple minutes as described with great shops and pubs etc. The owners Dee and Greg are very accommodating and always available for any issues or queries. I would certainly recommend a stay in this lovely family home and beautiful Llangollen , hope to be back soon.
-
"Excellent location, amazing house with plenty of room."
Excellent value for money, highly recommend.
-
"Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and keen to ensure that we had an enjoyable break."
This is a great property and has the feel more of a home than other holiday properties that we have stayed in. It backs onto the River Dee and this was far more picturesque than I imagined. The river and the surrounding countryside provide some beautiful views. We loved the town and the area and were able to venture further to other well known sites such as Aber Falls, Betws y Coed, the Snowdonia National Park and Prestatyn.
-
"We had a brilliant holiday."
The cottage was spacious which was great for a larger number of people. It had an efficient heating system which, staying in January, we really appreciated. We have had winter breaks before and have sometimes been cold but this was a lovely warm property. Everywhere was very clean and it had a well equipped kitchen. It is centrally located which makes it easy to walk into Llangollen. We would definitely stay here again.
-
"It is a great house particularly for family gatherings."
Right in the centre of the town but for small children it has a park right behind the property and a great view of the river. The house is really well equipped throughout but surprisingly the little ones are better equipped than anywhere else we've stayed as there is even a buggy which we appreciated. Just take your own toys. Also the warm welcome from Dee was lovely. Hope to stay there again .
-
"The house was more than we expected."
Ample room for the 7 of us. Very convenient for the town centre and all the facilities Llangollen has to offer. Would recommend it.
-
"This property was ideal for our family of 8 adults and 3 children who ranged in age from 15months to 86years and our dog."
The house has enough room for everyone to have their own space. I can not find fault with it. Every thing you could think of in baby equipment was available. In fact we found everything we needed plus things we hadn't thought of. The rear garden is enclosed so safe for children and dogs. Directly behind the house there is a lovely park for the children leading to the river. A short walk leads either to Llangollen the opposite way leads to Aldi and Home Bargains. There are plenty of places to visit in the area, although we didn't wander far from The Beeches as we were blessed with sunshine and enjoyed being together.
-
"We had a wonderful family holiday."
The location was perfect for the town, river and canal not forgetting the play area which our 8 year old enjoyed at some stage each day! Even the weather was good!
-
"The house is in a perfect location for anyone with small children."
We took our grandchildren age 8 ,4, and 15months.The swing and slide park can be seen from the house also there is a crazy golf which our grandchildren throughly enjoyed. The llangollen steam train is the reason we went and not to be missed .The river does run just behind the house and we were able to walk safely to the town following this path.We all enjoyed the walk to the ruined castle which is within walking distance, there was no need to drive which is another reason I chose this location. The house is very child friendly the children enjoyed the out side area.
-
"Ideal stay location."
Plenty of room. Very clean and tidy.
-
"This holiday home was perfect for us all, plenty of space, dogs welcomed, off road parking, comfy beds, lovely clean fresh bedding and towels, and lots of seating areas, wonderful views."
Plenty of TV's, and DVD players too!! The kitchen was well equipped and utility room/drying room too. Location was ideal, close to all amenities. Personal welcome from the owners and a gift of wine too! It really did have everything we wanted. There were four generations too and the house suited everyone. We celebrated my daughter's 50th Birthday and it truly was a wonderful week. Dining room seated 10 easily. Blessed with good weather, most of the group were very active so lots of walks are close to hand. Ate and drank in local places, and rode the steam train. The afternoon tea at the Carriage on the station is highly recommended. Shops and pubs were all just minutes from the property. Chinese take away tasty and great value. We also visited the Cornmill, dog friendly, several times. Also there were ;lots of places dog friendly so we were able to enjoy eating out without any worries.
-
"The house is fantastic and would be our first port of call should we stay in North Wales again."
-
"Fantastic location in centre of the town within an easy walk of restaraunts, bars, pubs, shops and attractions."
Large house with plenty of space and well equipped. Off road parking. Dog freindly. There were 7 adults in our party and we thourghly enjoyed the week we spent there.
-
"This was a very comfortable and convenient house."
Good kitchen with a large oven and plenty of fridge space. Clean and comfortable. Excellent for dogs as it has an enclosed garden and is very close to a river walk. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants of Llangollen. 2 rooms have en-suite bathrooms, with a 3rd bathroom shared between the other 3 bedrooms. Free sat tv. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
-
"The property is in a perfect location for LLangollen and has brilliant facilities"
-
"I think the property should have the facility of a tumbler dryer."
We would like to book again for a long weekend walking but would need to dry clothes somewhere.
-
"The house is located on the corner of the A5 and one of the main roads into Llangollen centre; however, there wasn't a problem with traffic noise."
There is a nice riverside walk into the centre from the park alongside the house. The accommodation was ideal for our party of 7 adults. The lounge was ideal for our party, as was the dining room. The sun lounge provided an alternative sitting area. The paved garden at the back had plenty of space for sitting out too, with tables & chairs. The kitchen is large & well equipped including fridge/freezer with ice maker. There is parking for 3 cars directly outside (off-road).There were a few niggles with missing items etc but the owners responded promptly and were pleased to have had the feedback, which was constructive. We were delighted to have a welcome gift of 2 bottles of wine and received another for reporting the niggles! We have stayed elsewhere in Llangollen before some years ago (with Sykes) so are unlikely to return, but if we did, we would be very happy to stay here again.
-
"Lovely holiday home in excellent position."
Only thing missing was hairdryer and larger towels would have been appreciated. Kitchen was very well equipped and plenty of room to spread out as there were 6 of us.
-
"Absolutely amazing property in a fantastic location."
We were brother and sister with our teenage children and 80 year old mother. Plenty for all to do and enough room to not get under each other's feet. Outside Garden and summer house another great asset. Everything you needed was here. Dee and Greig the owners couldn't have been more helpful when we needed gas for the Barbecue. Loved it and was sad to leave. Will definitely return.
-
