  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Tan y Front."

We were particularly pleased that as a house for 8, you really could seat 8 for dinner. We also liked the location with easy access to a traditional seaside and mountains.

  • "Enjoyed our 4 night stay in Tan y Fron excellent facilities in the home but very over looked by other properties at the back but wouldn't stop us staying here again!"

Enclosed rear garden was great for our doggy who likes to be outside even when it rains

  • "We had a comfortable stay at Tan Y Fron, a well equipped house that was clean and tidy throughout."

Penrhyn Bay is a great location for touring the area, and the house is within walking distance of local amenities and the sea front. Rhos on Sea is a two minute drive away with is fabulous promenade and long sandy beach. We were fortunate that the weather was good during our stay and the bi-fold doors at the rear of the house open up onto a paved garden. However the house is very overlooked so you do feel like you're staying in a gold fish bowl, which made sitting outside uncomfortable for me. Also the neighbours children only seemed to have one decibel, which was scream, and that was a constant when they were playing in their garden. For those reasons, and only those, we wouldn't return to Tan Y Fron.

Best BBQ we have ever used. Super comfy beds and spotless house. Great location between Conway and Llandudno, 5 minutes walk to the beach and Rohs on sea is beautiful. Cannot recommend this property enough.

  • "Thank you for a very relaxing holiday."

The house was very well equiped and we all had a lovely night's sleep in very comfortable beds. We enjoyed an afternoon walk to see the seals. All the facilities that we needed close by. Idea spot for enjoying Llandudno and Rhos-on-Sea. Very nice to have a car park space. We all agreeded that it was a super house.

  • "Tan Y Fron is a lovely house complete with everything you need and close to so many places and activities."

The only complaint we have is the charge as we were offered the week before and week after for half of what we paid during half term. Meaning we were being expected to pay more because we had children on school holidays.

  • "Our family of 9 (6 adults, 2 children & 1 dog) have stayed at Tan Y Fron twice now (Oct 23 & April 24) & I don't think we'd stay anywhere else when visiting North Wales."

The house is a perfect base for us and within walking distance of Llandudno & Rhos on Sea. Not forgetting the seals at Angel Bay & the Little Orme. The house has been spotlessly clean on both occasions which you don't always get in properties that allow dogs. The extra touches like providing dog bowls, towel & blanket for our dog was appreciated. The layout of the house is perfect with plenty of space for a large family to spread out & the girls loved their attic room. The kitchen is very well equipped with more than enough crockery & cutlery to last the day without having to keep washing up in between dishwasher cycles. The beds are super comfy, there is ample off road parking for 3 cars and it was a relief that the back garden was fully enclosed so our dog could mooch outside without us worrying about him escaping. Laura the owner is so lovely & made contact before we arrived to check the layout of the bedrooms & then to provide the key safe details. We have stayed in plenty of holiday homes but Tan Y Fron is by far our favourite. We would 100% recommend Tan Y Fron. We're already looking forward to our next holiday.

  • "This was our second stay at Tan-y-Fron and it was as good as we remembered."

It ticks all the boxes for cleanliness and comfort and of course the location is wonderful. What really stands out for us is how well equipped it is. We always like to make a big Sunday lunch when we go away and this house is equipped with more than you need for that - in terms of cookware, tableware, glassware and cutlery. Thoughtful touches from the owner and great communication are the cherry on the cake! We very much hope to come back again!

  • "The house is very clean and the beds and sofas very comfortable."

It was well stocked for 8 people with left overs. The children adored the attic with reading nook and disappeared up there whenever we came in. We were lucky for weather in February and walked to Angel Bay to see the seals then went to Llandudno to toboggan down the Great Orme. We would mention that we felt the lack of coffee tables but we moved the benches. Unfortunately the heating was set to go to 16 between 10.00 and 5.30 but we didn’t know this so after a short outing the house was really chilly and took a long time to heat up. The owners increased the ‘off’ temperature to 18 but we two oldies really felt cold until all the family arrived.

  • "We loved our stay at Tan-y-Fron."

The house lacked for nothing. We had our friends over for dinner a few times (11 of us in total) and we were able to provide enough crockery etc for everyone. The children were able to bake too- there was a lovely recipe on the wall for blueberry muffins- I highly recommend it- they were delicious. The location was great; we were close to great beaches, attractions & shops. The house is well decorated and very comfortable. The garden is safe and very dog friendly. As a family, we loved it.

  • "A beautiful, well presented, clean, comfortable holiday home."

Perfectly located for local amenities and attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. We enjoyed the local Chinese takeaway and used the co op. Also we were able to walk the dog to ‘Princes Green’ a local park and took him on walks to Angel bay. We found a beautiful beach in Penhryn bay were he was able to go and run free. The weather was amazing so sat out in the back garden. The home provided us with everything we needed. It has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard.

  • "We could not have been more delighted with this property."

It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We've not stayed in that exact area of North Wales before, but found that it was perfectly placed for all of places that we liked to visit in Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Conwy etc. It’s also only a few minutes from the Little Orme so we popped up a few times to see the seals on Angel Bay in the evenings. We would certainly choose this property if it was available next time we want to visit the area.
