  • "This property was not clean ; it still had the previous occupants bedding and towels which had been used and were dirty the floors were also disgusting."

You have to cross a railway line to get to the front door. Stay here at your peril!!

  • "We stayed at this cottage for a week."

. It was amazing.. This is our third visit to the area and we loved our stay in this cottage.. It has a log burner that made it feel really cosy and watching the steam trains on the narrow gauge railway chug past you at the bottom of the garden was great.. This cottage has not been over modernised so you get a real feel of an authentic quirky home.. The beds were very comfy with fluffy pillows and nice duvets... The large chest of draws on the landing was big enough for all your clothing needs... The kitchen is basic but the small fridge freezer is enough for a weeks stay.. There is a need for a few bit of kitchen equipment...a roasting tin, spatula, strainer spoon etc... But l know the owners say "it's a work in progress" and when it's done it's going to be ideal for family's, hikers and cyclists (there's a large space in the back corner of the living room to store bikes) We visited with our dog and the garden is secure enough to let them out for a good run around and sniff... I highly recommend this cottage.. We will be back next year..

Thanks very much for your helpful feedback. We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay, and will certainly add the kitchen items that you suggested. Property Owner
