"What a lovely cottage, very cosy with gorgeous walks on the door step,"
-
"The cottage was lovely and clean and comfortable."
The was only one tea towel would of liked at least another one and maybe 2 tablets for the dishwasher. Also I suffer with back problems so I would of liked a lounger or patio chair in the garden so I could of spent more time outside. Or maybe just list they are not provided so people can bring their own. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

"The cottage was everything we hoped it would be."
It is very peaceful in a perfect location with walks from the doorstep, within easy reach of the coast and other attractions. The cottage is very comfortable especially the wonderful bed giving us the perfect night's sleep. It is beautifully appointed and very well equipped, having everything for the perfect stay. Thank you to the very welcoming and friendly owner for the gift of farm eggs.

"This is a loverly cottage in a great rural location with the added bonus of an enclosed garden for our dog to sit out and enjoy."
The property is only a quick drive away from the main town for all your shopping needs and close to the main highways so you don’t have to travel that far to get going when you want venture out and about. There are also some lovely walks you can take straight from your doorstep which was very handy. We had a couple of minor gripes - the water pressure in the main bathroom was not the greatest and some work is required in regard to the wash basin taps as they were loose and moved when you turned them on and off. The other main issue was the WiFi, it was very good in the kitchen, and in the up stairs bedroom (directly above the kitchen) but awful on the other side of the house where the main front room and TV is located. I would recommend to the owner to install some WiFi boosters around the house as this would definitely help. Overall though our stay was great and we would definitely stay again in the future.

Very quite and peaceful Easy drive to amenities and surrounding pubs and shops.
-
"Enjoyed a lovely stay in August."
Lovely clean home, properly equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful quiet area but close to shops etc. Lovely walks very close by.
-
"Lovely property, minor issues with loose basin cold water tap and door hard to close and open in ground floor bath room."
Would benefit a net or blind for top halve of window. Easy fix.

"We had the most wonderful mini break with our family."
Castle House is beautiful cottage with everything you need. High quality furnishings and bedding, beautifully clean and an incredibly peaceful and tranquil location. Not far from the town and beaches, we used Barkby Beach as it is dog friendly. The waterfall was worth a trip to also. The walk just up the road to see the coastline was incredible. We most certainly will be back in the future.

"Well maintained cottage in a lovely quiet, safe location, with beautiful views."
The layout of the cottage worked well for us (family of 4 with a 10 and 12 year old). WIFI was good. Property clean. Ample bedding and towels. Easy to use heating / water system. Loved the little details such as washing tablets etc. We enjoyed our stay here, great base for exploring North Wales, beaches a short drive away, and Liverpool / Chester within an hour. Really pleased tp have stayed here, would recommend.

"An excellent choice to tour the North Wales area, lovely walks from the doorstep."
The property was first class, it was very comfortable and everything we needed was provided, the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog, a special mention to the owner who was at hand to help us out when our key was mislaid, it was very much appreciated

"Perfect cottage, we loved it."
Fabulous walks on doorstep....and you don't have to travel far in any direction to get to sea/beach. We had lovely hot sunny weather so our dog appreciated the cool kitchen floor....only request would be a couple of sun loungers as we spent a lot of time just sitting in garden !

"We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time."
The cottage is located in a perfect place for relaxing, walking and exploring the fantastic beaches of North Wales. The cottage was very comfortable, well presented, very clean and a more than ample size for 4 persons. Getting around by car was so easy, Snowdonia, Caernarfon, Anglesey are less than an hours drive way. Conwy (and is lovely restaurants and castle) is about 35 mins away. And don't forget the lovely sand dunes at Prestatyn. The Owner's have left a good "handover book" with lots of local information, restaurants and pups. Castle House was a great find.

"Our second visit to Castle house which never disappoints."
Our dog has a safe garden to run in and the house very clean with all facilities you could want. Lovely week, good weather with helps, enjoyed the beach and great walks from the house. So many thanks to the owner for providing such a great place to stay. Pam Williams

"The cottage was lovely and comfortable."
Weather was cold outside but cottage was very warm and toasty inside. The beds were extremely comfortable. The whole cottage was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. We do have some recommendations but have given top marks as these did not hinder or affect our stay in any way. We think there should be blinds in the kitchen, utility and downstairs bathroom for privacy. The front and back door need attention re draft proofing and bulb needs replacing in outside light. All minor and we would stay in this cottage again as we had a lovely time.

"Stayed at this lovely property whilst visiting family."
Beautiful location, with a short walk to the top of Meliden mountain for superb views. The property was absolutely spotless, and very comfortable, such a relaxing place to stay. Would we recommend it? Yes, absolutely we would , and hope to stay again soon.
-
"Excellent accomodation for our needs at a very reasonable price (actually cheaper than a caravan in the area!"
). Very peaceful setting with great walks on your doorstep and nice pubs within walking distance. The cottage is larger than the photos make out with plenty of room and a choice of wood burners to keep the place warm. The place was spotless and the owner very helpful and friendly. The only slight downside is that the bathroom is downstairs in the coldest part of the house by the back door, and the shower screen wasn't big enough to stop the floor getting soaked. But that's a small gripe and we would certainly stay here again.

"We enjoyed an extended stay at Castle House, due to our new home not being ready."
It was an absolute joy and felt like a long holiday at a difficult time. Nicky, the owner was the perfect host and the cottage itself was cosy and first class. Very well equipped with all the necessary comforts, Castle House is perfectly situated for exploring the area. The walks from the house with our dog were a delight and the views are spectacular. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

"A really lovely cottage - and a lot bigger than the listing would suggest!"
Very clean, and very well equipped. There is a lot more to it than the listing suggests - eg coffee machine, dishwasher, utility etc, so a real gem to find! Thank you for being great hosts.

"Cottage was in prime location however the dishwasher dirty water sat smelling when we arrived at the cottage and smelt the place out."
The smell coming from the downstairs toilet was horrific cost us a fortune in cleaning products to try and shift the smell that was knocking us all sick. The whole drainage system was not working and ruined out break away
