  • "We had the great pleasure of being able to live in this wonderful cottage for 3 weeks."

The cottage has been lovingly renovated and has a lot of personal charm in the decoration. We felt very welcome as guests from day one. Paul, the owner of the cottage, looked after us very lovingly during our stay, so that we didn't lack for anything. Paul's warm nature was reflected in the loving furnishings of the cottage. The cottage has a charming location, you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset with a view of the sea from the bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and it's fun to cook for the family on the large gas stove. A big refrigerator with large freezer compartments can easily accommodate a week's shopping. Shopping opportunities are nearby and easily accessible. We were lucky that the youngster Guiness was in the paddock attached to the cottage during our stay. As a horse and dog lover, happiness was perfect. The cottage is very suitable for one or two four-legged friends. For us, two adults, two childs and two Podenco's it was a perfect relaxation and we definitely plan to come back. For such an enchanting destination, we are happy to make the 17-hour journey again. Big hug to Paul and his family, looking forward seeing you again.

Peaceful and tranquil, we had the most relaxing time. The cottage was equipped with everything you could ever need. Beds were very comfy, and it was lovely to sit in the garden and take in the magnificent views. Plenty to do in the area, it was a short trip to the shops, pubs and beautiful beaches. Even our dog was catered for with a big enclosed dog run. The Perfect place to stay.

The views were stunning and the dog enclosure was great as you could open the side door and they could go out without worrying about how secure the fences were. The host was very accommodating and welcoming ensuring we had extra directions to the property. The televisions in so many areas was a bonus . We have around 4-5 cottage holidays a year and this is definitely up there as one of the best especially in terms of décor and comfort. The area was excellent and we would like to book again for next year and might even bring more of our family to enjoy this experience.

  • "We have just returned from two weeks at this very lovely property."

It is in a beautiful setting, fabulous views all round, on it's own with sheep, cows, horses and hares as the only neighbours. We were delighted to have had 13 dry, sunny and warm days. The big patio is a real sun trap. A pleasure to eat outdoors breakfast, lunch and supper.. The cottage has been very well converted. No black beams, dark rooms or low ceilings. It's light and spacious, comfortable and decorated in a modern style. Reed diffusers make the rooms smell beautiful but are not overpowering. I want to buy some of those!! The Llyn peninsula is unspoilt and very attractive. The landscape varied and breathtaking, constantly changing with every twist and turn of the road and in different light. The lanes are strewn with brightly coloured spring flowers. The hills we looked out over grew more intensely blue as the bluebells opened and the yellow gorse on the other side got fatter and more yellow. We barely needed the heating on as the sun floods into the large windows to warm most rooms. I think in winter it would be very different and more cosy with the electric log burners on. Candles are plentiful for young at heart romantics. You really couldn't fail to have a brilliant holiday here. We very much hope to do it all again.....one day, one year soon.

Thank you so much Shelia for your kind comments and I will make sure you have a high back chair next time you come and look forward to your return x Property Owner

... We had a fabulous week. The cottage is in a great location, great views, private, not overlooked. Plenty of outdoor space. It's a safe place to stay. Inside is very comfortable, furnishings are of a high standard. For a place that's dog friendly it was very clean on our arrival, no dog hairs anywhere. We did a lot of walking and spent most evenings relaxing watching TV or playing boardgames. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment. Some instructions with regards recycling/bins would be helpful. Sharper kitchen knives would also be good. We're planning on another stay later in the year. Thanks to Paul for providing such a great place for others to enjoy.

Thankyou so much for your kind comments Brian, will make sure the knives are sharper next time lol Property Owner

What a beautiful, clean & comfortable cottage!! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The living room is beautiful, the views are breathtaking & the couch is so comfortable, perfect for lazy days or film nights in front the huge tv. With us staying over Christmas the fact the kitchen was so well equipped was brilliant, there was everything we could need and more. The dining room is grand yet cosy. All of the beds are comfortable, having the bath in the master bedroom was a lovely luxury. The cottage is in a perfect location remote enough to feel tucked away from the world but just a 5 min drive from a beautiful village & beach. Paul you are a 5* host, such a helpful genuine person who can’t do enough for guests. Thankyou for decorating the cottage for us it was perfect and also for our gifts when we arrived we really appreciate everything. Will miss waking up to seeing the lovely Guinness & Cary’s grazing outside the window. Highly recommend this cottage to stay at any time of year!

The cottage is extremally comfortable & sitting in the lounge/conservatory of an evening we didn't feel the need to put on the Giant Tv - just watch the sheep or sky :) The kitchen is well laid out with a large range and American style fridge/freezer - everything you need. The bedrooms were excellent with the added luxury touches & top quality linen. The grounds are lovely and you are well back from the road, with the company of 2 well behaved sheep who wander around, plenty of birds and animals in the vicinity, we even saw some newts and a grass snake in the small pond. The cottage is well located, with plenty of good walks, I would recommend the 3 peaks of Eifl walk & a visit to the Welsh Language Centre, the walk down to Pistyll beach is well worth it once you find the path ;) Nefyn is really good and has a couple of shops and a nice indian, a nice cafe/bakery by the beach and the beach is lovely What more can I say - apart from we'll be back
