  • "What a lovely place to stay."

So comforting and just what we needed. Could not fault anything.

  • "This is a lovely cottage in all respects."

It’s in a quiet location with a good Co-op supermarket and takeaway food shops just a few minutes walk away.

  • "This cottage was perfect for us, bigger than expected, extremely clean and comfortable, setees and beds, especially."

The kitchen is very well kitted out absolutely everything you might need, we couldn’t fault it. Very near to everywhere we wanted to visit, Snowdon train, great Orme tram, Bodnant, Anglesey , Portmeirion and Conwy , and the bonus of being close to shops and restaurants ( don’t miss Enochs!). It’s quiet and down a little track. Big tv with lots of channels, also a huge plus for us as it was the euro final! The owners were helpful and on call should we need them. Highly recommend thank you Gwyneth

  • "While very clean and everything you need in the property and a lovely owner we could not get past the awful position of the cottage, this should be stated in the particulars, also for people of our age the staircase is quite dangerous due to the step up from bathroom, a trip would send you right down the stairs."

A suggestion for Gwyneth for future guests, a washing up bowl in the sink, protects the sink and saves water. all in all due to its situation we feel as we have well overpaid compared with other cottages in which we have stayed.

  • "Not your issue but my SAT NAV sent me down Avallon Avenue rather than Queens Road."

which is the next (correct road) Premises 1.Overall, very good, probably exceed my expectations. 2.only issue we had was learning how to open the kitchen back door. (basically you had to insert they key, push the door and turn the key at the same time, rather than insert and turn the key. Notes left by the owner. 1.Very good & useful. particular on eating out, we tried both recommendations, both very good. Location, although a secluded location the local and street lighting enabled us to confidently leave and come back well after sunset.

Thank you for your comments and the issue with the back door, which has been checked and is now working fine. Property Owner

  • "A lovely clean property, lovely comfortable beds."

Lots of home comforts. Nice touch with tea, cakes, milk, soft drinks for the children and wine for the adults left. Only one minor problem we couldn't get out of the back door to put the rubbish out, but we could use the gate instead. Would recommend the property owner was lovely and friendly.

  • "We loved staying at 1river view terrace."

The welcome pack was a nice touch. Small bottle of white and red wine. A welsh cake not sure of the name. Tea and coffees. The house itself was spotless. The only thing I missed was a draining board to dry the dishes off. Maybe some extra bin bags. Apart from that it had everything you could ask for. Great base for sightseeing. There is an Indian restaurant above a pub and a sit in Chinese restaurant within walking distance of the house.
