The photos don't do it justice. The views are something you never get tired of. The walks around the lake are stunning. We had the best time here. We never used the dining room as you couldn't beat the view from the kitchen....we thought this room would be better used as another bedroom or a games room or something?! Just a suggestion, maybe other guests used it. Will definitely come back of we get chance. Amazing place

Very clean and well stocked. Lovely walks and not far from all the places we wanted to visit. There is a lovely walk around the lake, you have to walk along the road for a while but worth it. We enjoyed our visit very much. The only downsides for us was the lack of comfortable chairs to sit on outside, it would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. Also, a bbq would have been good to have. Overall, a lovely holiday was had.

The location is amazing, with fabulous views of the lake and mountains from every window. The house is very well equipped for 6 people and very comfortable. Kayaking was so easy from the house as the Lake is just across the road and our family had a great time paddling down the lake and down the River Glaslyn. The Watkins path up Snowdon is very close. This is a perfect place for anyone who loves mountains and kayaking.

The place is large, well-appointed, in its own grounds, no near neighbours, with a stunning outlook across the lake to the hills beyond. There's no mobile phone signal but the property has wifi/broadband. TV is via FreeSat with a few stations missing. (We couldn't get BBC2). The nearest vilage, Beddgelert, has a village shop and several good eateries. One of the main paths up Yr Wdffa (Mount Snowdon), the Watkin Path, starts just a few hundred yards from the house. We had an absolutely wonderful holiday.

The house is much bigger than we expected, is presented extremely well and we had a very comfortable stay. It has all the facilities you could need with plenty of space for six people. The wifi throughout the house worked really well but you will struggle with a mobile signal in this area (which is pretty remote). The roads in the near area are winding and narrow, please bear this in mind when visiting places as your journey may take slightly longer than expected. Its a beautiful house in a fabulous location with amazing views all around. The goats on the hillside visited us on two occasions which was a nice bonus. The booking process was easy and trouble free. Overall, we were very impressed and would highly recommend it (we already have to friends and colleagues).

The house is very well equipped and comfortable with good wi-fi. Unfortunately there is no mobile signal so availability of a landline payphone for emergency calls would be useful. We loved the welcome of milk, bara brith, full tea, coffee and sugar canisters and a vase of roses. There is now a good sized table and chairs in the garden, much appreciated on the warmer days. Plenty of walks from the property and many towns just a short drive away. We had a lovely relaxing week and enjoyed a visit from some Welsh goats.

A full 180 degree view of Llyn Dinas from the breakfast room is picturesque. All rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The house was beautifully presented and has obviously been recently re-decorated throughout to a very high standard. It was also very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a lovely full size range cooker. The breakfast and dining rooms both have great views over Llyn Dinas, All three ensuite bedrooms were of a good size with comfortable beds and also great views over the lake. The property has a path down to the lake and a small slipway which allowed us to go paddle boarding straight from house. All in all an excellent stay. Lovely walks on the doorstep. We had a great time and it was always lovely to come back to such a comfortable house. Very spacious indeed. Would thoroughly recommend. A few comments about the listing: - all the bedrooms have an ensuite bath, and two have a separate shower unit as well. Downstairs there is a shower room with loo and basin. Your listing says 'ensuite shower' which does not imply a bath to me. In fact I thought that a bath was downstairs. So in fact it was all much better than expected. So you are probably underselling this - having a proper bath is very important for my wife! - there is no payphone that we saw - your driving instructions were very accurate, but I think you should say to not follow sat nav. The postcode directs you to a field about a mile away and directed us down a very narrow track and away from the main roads. We all popped the postcode in satnav and got lost. - the road is right in front of and below the house and you may want to mention this. It was generally reasonably quiet but occasionally noisy. - it's a shame the house in now some 30% more expensive for next year!

The windows were so dirty that you could barely see them clearly! There is no mobile reception and you state there is a phone for incoming calls - there was no phone on the premises. A dishwasher provided with only two dishwashing tablets to cater for up to six people foe a week? We, as you know, have rented several of your properties and this is one we would NOT recommend. Basics, or what, I consider as basic were not provided. No kitchen roll, no soap or toilet accessories upstairs. The towels had seen better days and only two were a good size. The only casserole dish was a very old Pyrex one. There was no was you could have set a smart table eg for Christmas. All in all a disappointing experience BUT we did have good weather. It lies quietly and isolated on the slope of the mountain with no neighbours. However, it is well located to visit Wales with plenty of nearby (less than half an hour drive) walks both in the mountains (e.g. Snowdon) and at the shores or beaches at the sea. You have a nice view on Llyn Dinas from all rooms and most notably from the breakfast corner. The interior was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The internet connection is not very good. You are able to use smartphone apps and do limited downloads, but browsing websites on a laptop was very slow. After mentioning this to Menai Holidays, they contacted the telecom provider and during my stay new hardware was delivered, but not yet installed. So I can't comment on how the quality of the connection will be improved. We enjoyed our stay at Dinas Noddfa very much.

Only let down by cleaning issues: Windows internally and externally in need of a clean along with entrance porch - full of cobwebs. Spoke to member of Menai Cottages staff next day (Saturday 24th March) who said they would contact housekeeper and get back to us. Heard nothing, no kindling arrived so had to buy own. Also, several issues with equipment and general cleanliness in kitchen. Information pack for guests was very poor - not what we’d expect in this standard of property. The dining table is nestled in the huge rounded window - soak up the views with breakfast and a cuppa! Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with loo, basin, heated towel rail and shower with a drencher head.

The master bedroom has a luxurious king sizes mahogany sleigh bed and the ensuite is a shower room with loo and wash hand basin. There is another bedroom with a double bed and the ensuite contains a hand-held shower, loo and wash hand basin.

Twin beds make up the third bedroom which has an en-suite shower room with loo and wash hand basin. The outside space consists of a walled and grassed garden with furniture at the front of the house - this is the ideal spot to sit to soak up the views and watch the sunset!

Dinas Noddfa is accessed via a private gated drive and has ample parking for three or four cars. Dinas Noddfa is a holiday house in an utterly sublime location - if you’re looking for peace, tranquility and relative isolation, this is the place for you!

There are walks and footpaths aplenty - just pull on your walking boots and head straight out from the front door.

Towns and villages nearby include popular Beddgelert, with its restaurants, cafes and good old-fashioned pubs with lovely log fires!
