"The cottage was nice, but having no central heating was not the best, double bed was so uncomfortable and pillows so hard sleeping was difficult on them ."
-
"Lovely views, very peaceful, very comfortable and clean property."

"Lovely little cottage, beautiful views and a great location."
Had everything we needed. Very well stocked kitchen. We read reviews saying it was cold but we went in August so it was fine. There is no central heating but plug in radiators in each room and blankets provided also. The double bed mattress was a little firm for our liking but that’s personal choice. Friendly helpful hosts, thank you.

"Very compact and comfortable cottage"

"We absolutely loved it at hilltop, this was our second stay, and somehow, it was even better than the first time!"
When people say it's all about "location, location, location," they are spot on. This cottage is set in a gorgeous spot with spectacular views and so peaceful! The location feels like you are in the middle of the countryside while having all the great seaside locations within minutes. In less than 10 minutes, you are on the A55 and great access to every good thing North Wales has to offer. The cottage itself is beautiful, comfortable, and very clean and with everything you could need. The beds and sofa's are really comfortable and there are extra blankets and pillows should you need them! Added extras were a bonus too, condiments and tea/coffee, biscuits plus the things you never consider like tinfoil etc. Great cottage, great location, really a perfect stay! I was also envious of the little border of succulents which added such a pretty touch to the front of the cottage!

"The views from this cottage were spectacular, the towels also amazing."
When we arrived the cottage was freezing, the only heating was a small heater and although the living place was really small it was insufficient to heat the place. We had to buy blankets to use whilst sitting in the living place. My husband is in his 70's and I am approaching 70 this was unacceptable. Also half a toilet is not sufficient Also we have booked through sykes loads of times we have never been texted the night before to tell us we had to be out by 10am. We always leave the property promptly so rude
Hi Jean, Thank you for your feedback, however, we feel that your scores for listing 50%, cleanliness 50%, comfort 25% and facilities 25% are not a true reflection of the cottage. There are three heaters in the cottage not one, blankets are provided, a full toilet roll is the minimum we provide even though this is a self catering property. Unfortunately, some customers do not leave on check out time, so I do text "a gentle reminder" of the checkout time the night before. I am very sorry if you found this rude, this was certainly not the intention. We do welcome constructive feedback but you have rated us a 50% for cleanliness when you did not give a reason for this. Fortunately, the previous customers have given feedback that is a more true and accurate reflection of our property. Property Owner

"Wonderful stay at Hillview in a beautiful area of the World."
Owners accommodated us at extremely short notice, but still had everything pristine for our arrival. Thank you

"Welcome pack was nice touch."
Could do with information pack , also map of directions to property. Seete was very low & not very comfortable

"Fantastic location."
nice cottage, most things on hand. lovely and clean. only drawback is the sofas, need updating as so uncomfortable and very low for elderly folk. The cottage is great otherwise. would return if the sofas were upgraded. Thank you for the wine and cookies.

"Superb location and property, small downfall , the working yard at the back can be very noisy at time late in the day ."
Hi Bruno thankyou for your feedback it's much appreciated. I am sorry you were disturbed by the work being carried out at the property behind the cottage, I will have a chat with the new owner to perhaps finish working on his renovations a bit ealier in the day.Thankyou Property Owner

"Lovely cottage, cozy, clean, with everything you need."
Location is great, with beautiful hill views.
-
"My only comment would be that instructions on how to get to the cottage would be helpful."
Sat nav does not get you there and, as the cottage is hidden away, finding it was difficult. I eventually found someone nearby who told me where it was. Everything else was very good.

"Had a fantastic stay."
The location was ideal as I was out and about each day and all the facilities I would need. The views from the lounge were stunning too. Would definitely book Hillview again. (Only 1 con from me. A user guide with info on how to use WIFI, Hot Water, Shower etc. I figured it out eventually though. So not that big a deal for me.)

"Lovely,comfortable little cottage,had a wonderful time,home from home."
The cottage in a central location and ideal to use as a base to travel anywhere in North Wales. Would visit again in a heart beat, I would recommend the property to friends and family as I know they would find the cottage equally as lovely as we did.

"A lovely, clean and comfortable cottage with wonderful views!"
-
"This is a lovely, well equip property which had stunning views."
There is no private garden, just the front drive but the nice views from this are great. We were out visiting places so this was not an issue for us. The welcome basket was a nice touch and this would a place to visit again.

"We had a lovely break, Hillview was a lovely well equipped cottage and excellent location to visit the surrounding area."
-
"Absolutely stunning little cottage, very clean and well equipped."
We hope to be back in the future.
-
"Clean and welcoming."
Lovely rural setting. Had everything we needed.
-
"Absolutely lovely little cottage, ideally placed to get around North Wales."
-
"Very well equipped and comfortable cottage which we found to be in an excellent location for places of interest not too far away."
Plenty of scope from seaside beaches to mountainous scenery and places of particular interest in between. Getting to the cottage requires driving some very narrow windy roads but that didn't cause us any issues during our stay even though we traveled around each day.
-
"Brilliant accommodation."
Comfortable, very well equipped

"This is such a lovely, cosy cottage which is so close to so many places in Wales."
The cottage is small but perfect for a week away. We took our two children and the dog and we were so lucky to get some lovely weather too. Just be aware there is nowhere secure to let your dog off- we have a husky who would be off he got the scent of something tasty so we had to keep him on his lead. Despite this we would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay- very thoughtful welcome pack with wine, cookies and tea/coffee facilities was a lovely touch. We hope to stay again in the future.
-
"It was a perfect location as a base to visit most places, would definitely recommend this holiday let."
Small and cosy but very clean and well laid out.
-
"Two very small gripes - no local information and nowhere just to let the dog out loose - always has to be on a lead."
-
"We all had a fantastic holiday."
The cottage was spotlessly clean and the views were amazing. We would definitely go back there again. The cottage was in a ideal place for visiting other places in Wales. It was also in a nice and peaceful area.

"We enjoyed are holiday hillview it was a Good quiet, we arrived there was some people in the other cottages ,on Monday after the people had left it was good because did not have a closed garden for are dog Charlie it was better for us when they had gone home ,but we would like to come back for another holiday ,lots of places to vist near bye, and lovely walks ."
-
"We spent 7 nights and would have booked it for another 7 nights if it would have been available."
The cottage was beautiful and clean- we loved the fabulous view and quiet surroundings. Kitchen is well equipped and it has everything you need for a nice holiday. Perhaps it has no garden but the little outside space in the front and the cul de sac location was perfect for our daughter to enjoy playing outside. The WiFi is really good and there is a fire-TV stick, games, books e.g- so just in case the weather strikes. There’s information about the bins and recycling and the washing machine and dish washer is easy to use for everyone. So we really enjoyed our stay and we will come back and recommend it to our friends!

The welcome pack was a nice touch and the cottage was lovely, great location and perfect for us as we brought our cycles with us
-
"Very relaxing enjoyable break."
Definitely need a car as the cottage is in the middle of no where. Smsll but very clean and perfect for us.
-
"This was a brilliant place to stay, it was very well equipped and had a homely feel to it."
The views were lovely and it was a good central base for us to go on days out.
-
"The cottage was well equipped and comfortable."
We were not far from the town of Colwyn, the promenade and beach and places we wanted to visit.
-
"The cottage was much smaller than it appeared in the photographs and we came home with several bruises where we had trouble negotiating the furniture particularly in the double bedroom."
Whilst the cottage was well equipped with cooker, dishwasher etc we could find no instructions for these . More information such as when the bins were emptied would have been useful. There was no option to re-cycle rubbish. There is no garden, the only outside space is the car parking area so we had to keep our 7 year old great grandson inside. The cottage backs on to unused stables/farm buildings. All in all we were quite disappointed with this cottage.
-
"Hillview was a lovely cottage to spend our Summer vacation, the welcome pack was an absolute joy with everything to start us off from tea coffee and milk to a bottle of wine, lovely."
The view each morning was tremendous with the rolling hills, there was a short drive down to Colwyn Bay and Rhos on Sea with around the corner the lovely resort of Llandudno. The cottage had every single facility one could hope for, a Fridge, a Freezer, a Cooker and a dishwasher. We booked a week, however stayed longer. :-)
