Kitchen had everything to make you feel at home (lots of Portmeirion kitchen ware to use) and paying extra for the hot tub was worth it. Large bathroom with bath and shower next to the bedroom. • "This is a beautiful property that we would thoroughly recommend for a couple."

It is very cosy and comfortable, well maintained with lovely features. The area is just as good, Nefyn has a community pub that we would recommend for food. The Llŷn brewery, 10-15 mins walk towards Morfa Nefyn, has a great atmosphere and beer. The coast is stunning and a walk along the Welsh Coastal route to the Tŷ Coch at Morfa Nefyn is a must, takes between 1 - 2 hours. For the more adventurous there is a 12km walk across the peninsula to Abersoch, however, I don’t know how you would get back. We took part of the route up to an Iron Age hill fort at Garn Boudan, quite a steep walk that took a couple of hours there and back. We also did a superb 12km circular walk from Aberdaron, about half an hour’s drive from Nefyn. There are also the towns of Carnarvon, Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Criccieth and Abersoch nearby with plenty of other things to do. We would also recommend Portmeirion, just beyond Porthmadog, but you will need to book. Altogether a wonderful break and we hope to return someday.

It's in a quiet street in Nefyn well placed to explore Llyn and beyond. Easy to check in and out and good communication from the owner. The shower was powerful, the bed very comfortable and some thoughtful extras provided. We were unlucky as the hot tub was not working throughout our stay ..nobody's fault but would hope to get some financial recompense for this as this facility is reflected in the cost of the cottage booking . Other things to note there us no washing machine so description not quite accurate, not a problem on a short stay but others may be inconvenienced by this

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We always strive to ensure that the guest experience at Haddef is of the highest standard , as previous feedback from guests will testify. Unfortunetly due to matters beyond our control, we fell short of our usual standards , and were not able to address the issues with the hot tub , despite our efforts? please accept our sincere apologies. Sourcing spare parts from manufacturers abroad, since the folly of Brexit , is extremely difficult and other industries experience the same issues and the hospitality industry is no different. However, we did offer you , as a gesture of goodwill, complimentary tickets to a renowned tourist attraction and a reduced rate should you decide to return in the future. We felt that these offers were very generous . If you would like to accept our offer of a reduced rate on a return visit, subject to availability, please contact Sykes or ourselves and we will only be to pleased to assist you .
