The property

This fantastic lodge lies on the road to Newborough Forest, with views towards Snowdonia, the Lleyn Peninsula, and the sea.

Renovated in 2018 to a lovely standard, Forest Lodge boasts exceptional features which add to the amazing feel of the interior.

Bring along the family to spend some quality time together, making the most of everything this accommodation has to offer.

In the lodge you will discover a well-appointed ground floor shower room featuring a walk-in shower.

The stylish kitchen is complete with a neat selection of appliances, so those home cooked meals can be prepared at ease, with a large dining table to eat, entertain and enjoy each other’s company .

The large dining area is filled with natural lighting from the windows which look out towards the garden, a lovely spot to relax with your loved ones as the sun sets.

Cosy up in the lounge for a peaceful end to the day, home to a wood-burning fire, ideally placed to warm those cooler nights.

You will be spoilt for choice between the four comfortable bedrooms; three out of the four comprise of a zip/link option, should you wish to change the king-size into a twin or vice-versa.

The fourth bedroom has the ability to sleep either two or three, giving the flexibility to accommodate up to 9 people in the lodge.

Three of the beautiful rooms lie on the first floor, with the addition of an immaculate 2nd bathroom, which boasts both a bath and a shower.

Outside, the garden sweeps around 3 sides of the lodge with a decked patio area with pillars holding up a ship-style sail and festoon lighting.

This area has luxury outdoor furniture and is perfect for sun-bathing and watching the sun set or rise!

The property is on the road to Newborough Beach and Forest.

The forest is maintained by the forestry commission and is a red squirrel sanctuary.

There are picturesque walks through the forest down to the beach, in addition to other walking routes, cycle routes and nature trails.

It is also possible to drive through the forest to the beach.

Please note there is a toll for cars.

The property is also within walking distance of the exceptional Marram Grass restaurant with head chef Ellis Barrie famed for his appearance on the BBC’s ‘The Great British Menu’ (booking in advance of your stay would be strongly advisable).

Within walking distance are Newborough's famous giant stepping stones, which are great fun to walk across, tide permitting!

Additionally the property offers easy access to the Anglesey coastal path.

Close by is Llanddwyn Bay, renowned as one of the finest beaches in Britain, perfect for swimming, canoeing, beachcombing and bird watching or just relaxing amongst the natural landscape.

There is no shortage of local family fun either.

Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm, Anglesey Riding Centre, Halen Mon (Anglesey Sea Salt Company) and the beautiful Plas Newydd National Trust Property are all just a few minutes’ drive away.

Nearby Aberffraw offers a very picturesque walk out along the estuary to meet the sea, as well as being home of the Anglesey racing track, another of the many attractions to be explored.

The small village of Newborough (Welsh spelling: Niwbwrch) lies on the edge of forests and dunes at the south west corner of Anglesey. Close by is Llanddwyn Bay, renowned as one of the finest beaches in Britain, ideal for swimming, canoeing, beachcombing and birdwatching or just relaxing! Behind the beach, the 1500 acre sand dune system of Newborough Warren is home to skylarks, meadow pipits and oyster catchers as well as toads and lizards and is protected as a National Nature Reserve. The Tan y Foel horse riding centre is within 3 miles of the village centre and Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm and the Anglesey Sea Salt are only a short drive away and make a fun day out for the whole family. Nearby Aberffraw is the home of the Anglesey racing track and will offer an exciting day.
