  Spacious living areas ,excellent kitchen ,bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything to a very high standard and spotless. Only thing I would say is you need a car because the house is more than a short stroll to shops and beaches etc but this does not detract from it being an all round great property.

  The two en suite bedrooms are fantastic, would highly recommend this property to any large family, or even two families, as they would not be on top of each other, as for location, it could not be any better, short drive to Pentre Berw, and Gaerwen, on to A55, opposite direction is stones throw into Newborough. All in all we had a great holiday, and again would absolutely recommend

  This is our second time staying at the gorgeous Elberry! Excellent property, very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Well situated to access the facilities of the Island. For dog owners Traeth Llanddwyn and Newborough Forest offer, in our opinion, an excellent facility in a stunning location. Again many thanks and we would HIGHLY recommend the property.   There isn't anything one thing to pick on apart from the beds that were so comfortable. The owners have not scrimped on providing you with a very modern house to enjoy your stay or holiday. We have stayed in a lot of cottages and houses over the years and this one is right up there with the best. Thank you for having us and hopefully one day we will return.

• "We had a really lovely week in Anglesey and the house was brilliant."

  Lovely and warm, excellent heating and we made good use of the log burner. The bedrooms were all comfortable and I particularly liked the reclining sofas. The garden was perfect for our dogs to have a play in and great that it was all secure so there was no need to worry. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We would definitely recommend to others and I’m sure we will be back. Thanks for a lovely place to stay.

• "Nothing to complain about with this property."

  Great space for us to have a weekend away with friends, something for everyone. The footballs and nets were an added little surprise for our littlest guest… the dog loved the balls as well. We booked for 3 nights (Fri - mon) but left the Sunday evening due to work commitments, it’s was great though not having to do an up and out on Monday morning. We ventured out to Zip World, it’s about half an hours drive from the house. Enjoyed a couple of walks on the beach as well. We just enjoyed chilling in the house which was perfect for us.

• "Beautiful property few mins from the stunning Llandwyn beach."

  Property manager so helpful and friendly and answered all questions before we arrived. Property had absolutely everything we needed to self cater for a week and it was easy for Waitrose on the island to deliver all we needed. My boys especially loved the football net and balls provided in the garden! Thanks so much Katy x

• "Overall a very nice stay/place and would recommend but pet friendly only applies to the ground floor and the beach shown in photos is a short drive away - unfortunately the week we were there the road to the main car parks was shut for repairs."

  The other free car parks are fine but very small and a reasonable walk to get to the beach.

• "Spotlessly clean throughout."

  Hygiene is obviously top priority with this property. Very dog friendly with dog beds provided and even doggie treats! Garden is mainly gravel with a patch of astro turf which is obviously low maintenance and easy to keep clean. There is a dog kennel outside too which again reflects how dog friendly this property is. About 15 minutes drive to the spectacular beach, sand dunes and forest.

• "A fantastic family holiday."

  It was like home from home. So warm and comfortable and superbly equipped. We couldn't fault it in any way. The grandchildren loved the space inside, the outdoor area was safe and we all enjoyed games on the lawn area. Even our dogs were made to feel welcome with beds, blankets, water bowl and dog treats provided. We have already shared the link for this property with our friends. Keep up the good work - this property is amazing and a credit to you. We wouldn't hesitate in booking and staying again. Likewise we would definitely book with Menai Holidays again. Thank you.

• "All gradings are in the context of a holiday cottage for which The Elberry, among many other holiday cottages experienced over 4 decades, ranks among the very best for its accommodation, particularly the range and quality of fixtures and fittings including white goods and house linen, its pet friendliness and also, last but certainly not least, its fantastic location in the southern part of the Island of Anglesy off the NW coast of Wales."

  Walking (usually with dogs) along Llanddwyn beach early in the morning (especially with the sun rising) and looking across the Menai Strait at the Snowdonian range of mountains (with some rain clouds hovering sometimes) is magical. The Elberry and area will have something for young and old, teenagers and pensioners and families coming together again.

  Spotlessly clean, facilities excellent like being home from home so that’s a good recommendation Plenty of storage and excellent facilities made the cottage and we had last year look totally inadequate Closed garden ideal for my young grandson and his small dog Just a couple of small points to the owner, I would supply table mats for the dining room to protect your wooden table top from hot plates, and clothes hook on the bathroom and en-suite doors for hanging clothes when showering would be useful But only suggestions, as all our party thought this was a perfect cottage Of the numerous cottages we have rented from Sykes this was by far the best and hope to return soon

• "What a fantastic way to spend a week with the family!"

  We booked The Elberry for 6 adults, 2 small children and an infant. It was really easy to make arrangements for a child gate and highchair just a couple of days before our stay. The owner even went out of their way and bought a small blender for us to use to get some hidden veggies into the kids' meals less than 24 hours before our arrival! Worded directions brought us right the front door although the what.three.words took us to a nearby field! The property is in impeccable condition, with all modern, light furnishings. The welcome pack with cake and prosecco was a lovely surprise and enjoyed by all! You could smell the newness and it was fab! Fantastic there were two fridges and a freezer - plenty of space for food storage throughout the week. The garden space is lovely and open, and the footballs and goal were a welcome gift for the kids to play in. Lovely kitchen / dining space with a lovely big oven - perfect for the large family meals that were being cooked. We came with extra tea bags / toilet roll / condiments but needn't have worried as this was already covered. The bedrooms were super comfy and fabulous black out blinds and curtains on the windows and sky lights. Great location to some of Anglesey's treasures such as Newborough Forest and Beach and close enough to the A5/55 for ventures further afield. We all loved the property so much my parents have booked a return stay in November - where the log burner will be used I'm sure! Great that the owners will be installing a car charging point over the coming year, making The Elberry and Anglesey even more accessible for electric car owners. We will definitely be back!

  The house was a little bit more isolated than we had imagined but we were able to cater for ourselves. The only point we would raise is that there should be a photo of the twin bedded room on the website as it is quite a tight space for two adults. Also a clear map of the last half mile of the route to the house would have been useful as even with sat nav and the instructions given it was not easy to find.

  It was very clean and warm and the owners had thought of everything even the dog things were very much appreciated. Going on holiday in February is always a bit risky but the house amenities and comfort made up for the inclement weather. If I was being picky (which I'm not) a shower in the large master bedroom would have been the icing on the cake. We would definitely book again. Thanks

  The living areas and bedrooms are all very comfortable and provide really good places to sit and relax. The outside is very spacious and gave the granddaughter and dog lots of space to play. Despite it being cold, as it was November, the garden is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the winter sun. It would be fantastic in the summer with the barbecue going! The cottage is ideally situated to be able to visit all the island with Newborough National Nature Reserve and Forest only a few minutes away well worth a visit. The Codmother in the village has excellent fish and chips whilst the Pier House Cafe and Bistro in Beaumaris served excellent seafood. Shopping at the nearby Hooten’s farm shop provided excellent quality produce. Would highly recommend this property.

• "My husband & I and our female cockerpoo Darcie, spent a week at The Elberry."

  Our daughter, son in law and two grandsons Lewis & George joined us for the weekend, to celebrate Lewis's 15th birthday.The boys loved the artificial turf football area & optional disco lights in the lounge ! Darcie was also well catered for, ie doggy bed, blanket, even a gift wrapped bonio biscuit ! She loved her walks down the lane and her 1st trip to the beach at Rosniegr. The property was spacious, very comfortable( especially the sofas and beds),well furnished,had great powerful showers & provided everything we needed for such an enjoyable stay. Also the welcome pack, including,( as well as Darcie's treat,) a bottle of prosecco & fruit cake for ourselves, was very much appreciated.We would not hesitate to return to and to recommend, this property and can also reccomend, to any Elberry visitors, ' Ye old Bulls Head ' in Beaumaris, Darcie was allowed in the bar while we had a coffe and although she was not allowed in the brasserie,we returned after a walk, for lunch on a covered and heated dog friendly patio where we enjoyed delicious fish & chips,with drinks and great service.
