  • "Tastefully decorated, modern, clean and very cosy cottage."

Welcome goodies appreciated. Wifi wasn't brilliant, may benefit boosters. Ideal location to visit North Wales. Bonus off road parking, we found it was easier to reverse in, rather than drive in and try to turn. A couple of times next door parked over drive, however this wasn’t an issue as moved when knocked. Would benefit with information on the recycling/general waste days, bins nearly full when we got there and we missed the recycling collection so full when we left. Overall enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Large kitchen with extra toilet downstairs. The wifi needs updating. Hit and miss. Wifi most important these days. Otherwise had a fantastic stay. Thank you for the milk and snacks.

Had slight issues with WiFi not connecting all week but did not deter from our overall stay also next door neighbour repeatedly blocks the driveway although we did not need to go out in car and mainly used the excellent bus service it could affect anybody who likes to drive out for days out overall though had a nice stay

  • "Lovely cottage."

Well equipped. Perfect location for visiting north wales. It’s close to pubs, shops and takeaways. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that I found slightly annoying was, whoever’s in the property on Friday (bin day) put the bins/recycling out. All the recycling boxes were quite full when we arrived. They should have been emptied that day, so whoever went in after us would have struggling for recycling space.

Thank you for booking with us, and apologies for the bins unfortunately during your stay Denbighshire is going through a transition of bin collection and a new way of recycling. Causing a little confusion!!! Property Owner

The owners are so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is beautifully decorated and to a very high standard and has everything you could possibly need. Perfect location with plenty nearby of takeaways, and places to eat and drink within walking distance. 10/10 stay.

  • "We had a wonderful break in the cottage."

It was immaculately clean and the owners had left a welcome pack of goodies which included a pint of milk in the fridge; such a thoughtful touch. It is decorated to a high standard and the attention to detail is second to none. There is a small patio to the rear ideal for sitting in the sunshine with a cup of coffee and is secure for your pet. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you would need perhaps just lacking a pyrex or other oven proof dish however there are plenty of pots, pans and trays though which was excellent. I knocked one star off for comfort, simply because I found the bed too firm. This is just a personal preference. All in all, I would absolutely recommend Afallon cottage as it is a beautiful cottage in a super location close to the coast for those with a car.

  • "Your property facilities said there was a dishwasher, which there isn't."

Off road parking can be difficult to turn a car around when the neighbours car is there, on road parking can also be difficult as there are lots of cars parked on the road. Accommodation was lovely, comfortable and in centre of the small town. We had been given some lovely welcome nibbles/milk by our host.

A very comfortable bed, with an suite good to have a toilet facilities downstairs as well. Off street parking an advantage. A good area for touring North Wales. One down side is the description on Sykes Cottages is not correct it says a dishwasher however there was no dishwasher. Not to be put off by this as the cottage has a modern interior with lovely furnishings and decor around the cottage. We recommend it.
