  • "My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the house was very comfortable and the location was great for exploring."

There is lots of useful information for household appliances, and the blankets were perfect for keeping the furniture free of dog hair! Oh, and the wifi is fantastic all through the house. Overall a great place to stay, thank you so much! ☺️

Set in beautiful surroundings, even when the weather was poor. The owners were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

  • "The cottage was lovely and as described snd the property owner friendly and helpful."

The village is pretty and a great location for getting around Snowdonia or going for a walk straight from the front door. The only issue was the lack of hot water - the owner was very apologetic. However on looking back at reviews it became apparent this was an ongoing issue and should have already been sorted! There were 5 of us staying at the cottage and the only thing (other than reliable hot water) i would have liked is another toilet. We all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed our stay

  • "No shower or any hot water at all three days"

We fixed the hot water problem when you first told us about it, and asked you to let us know if it happened again. We didn't hear from you again for the rest of your stay so thought it was ok, but discovered it was not working after you left. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay."

The location is great for accessing the mountains, but quieter than being in the more touristy areas. The owners were helpful and we appreciates the basket of locally sourced goodies on arrival.

  • "Rachael and Richard were marvellous hosts from the moment they greeted us."

They waited incase we struggled to find the cottage, as we were arriving later in the evening. It had been a last minute booking due to a mix up with another booking we had, and they still found time to leave welcome gifts in the cottage for us, such as fresh bread, butter, and Welsh marmalade, which was all delicious! The cottage was extremely spacious, and very homely. The log burning fire added the perfect finishing touch for making us feel extra cosy! The garden was a great size, and perfect for our doggies who loved their visit; they were able to walk around safely in the garden, and be able to see the horses in the field behind which they enjoyed. The area was filled with fantastic walks, from Ty Mawr national trust, with the river, forest, and hills to walk through, and Conwy Falls where we saw spectacular waterfalls in the autumnal woodlands. We also visited near by Betws y Coed for some shopping and evening meal, as well as a trip to the cost at Porthmadog for a local fish supper. When the weather was worse for wear, the cottage had ample games to keep us busy, with the fire lit and films on the TV via netflix and prime which we could log into. I cannot fault a thing about this trip; the cottage is immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, the owners are equally inviting and on hand for anything you might need. The area has so much to offer; I think we only touched the tip on things to do in the area! We cannot wait to come back!

Thank you for your lovely feedback, you are welcome back any time! Property Owner
