  • "This place is a disaster."

Photos looked nothing like the actual house. Full of spider webs and spiders. No electricity for the first night. No entry instructions provided for gates and access to key box. We got lucky with the code to access the key. We cut our stay short by 2 nights and lost most of the first night cleaning and trying to access the fuse box. No customer services available on a Sunday evening from Sykes. Zero response from owner despite several messages during the week leading up to stay. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

  • "The photos of the property looked wonderful, however I found in reality it wasn't quite as 'opulent' as it looked."

Curtains would fall down at the slightest touch. Bed frame in main bedroom was oversized, causing a trip hazard king sized frame with a double mattress. Bed was almost like a waterbed as it had two mattresses on. Sinks in downstairs bedroom were dirty. Sink in kitchen so unpractical for use other than washing hands so everything had to go in dishwasher. Single bed upstairs was a wobbly camp bed. Nice location but wouldn't stay again.

  • "Clean and tidy , great location to all tourists attractions."

Easily hosted the six of us, with two disabled members of the party. On a personal level we thoroughly enjoyed the Ffestiniog railway running past the house.
