• "Absolutely fantastic cottage, very modern, clean and spacious."

  Had all the facilities needed and more (we loved the little food package left for us). Outside facilities were very modern and hot tub was definitely a popular choice during our stay. Very friendly owner who couldn’t do enough for us. Would happily stay there again and will definitely be recommending that a cottage to all.

• "Highly recommend Cae Sam - we age ranged from 7 to 70 and the house had everything we needed."

  Fully stocked kitchen utensils, crockery etc. The hot tub went down a treat as the weather was not the best. Lots of space for us all and we didn’t feel we were tripping over each other. Good outdoor living facilities which we made the most of. Good central location for us touring the whole of Anglesey. Recommend Newborough nature reserve - miles of sandy beaches and walls through forest, great for kids. Benllech beach gets a thumbs up for body boarding from the kids too. Lastly, the homely gesture of Welsh cakes, cheese and coffee from Menai on our arrival was exactly what we needed from our drive from Glasgow. Thank you for a lovely stay.

• "This property was fantastic !"

  Great spot with beautiful countryside views. Short drive to the nearby beaches. The boathouse at Red Wharf Bay was the best pub meal we have had in a long time. Indoor area of the house was very spacious ideal for big family groups and immaculately clean throughout. Big large stunning bathrooms always plenty of hot water. Hot tub outside was extra special we used it everyday ( it was tested by the owner for chlorine etc every morning). Outdoor seating area was sheltered from wind and rain and table included fire which was helpful when it turned cold. Lovely cheeses and fresh Welsh cakes on arrival which was sweet. Also noted little starter packs of tea coffee sugar available and condiments herbs etc. You are invited to watch the cows being milked of an afternoon which was very special. Owners friendly and on hand if needed. Would definitely recommend this house !

• "Amazing property and the owners are really welcoming."

  We loved looking round the farm. If you are visiting with a disabled guest this property is also perfect - no steps and a fully accessible ground floor bedroom and bathroom. We are already looking to book for next year, can't recommend enough.

• "We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!"

  The house and facilities perfectly suited our Hen party of 10 ladies. The social space around the kitchen / island / lounge / pool table was perfect. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms are stunning. The whole house is immaculate and so well maintained. The owners were on hand should we need them and the welcome pack and homemade Welsh cakes went down a treat. We all definitely want to return with our respective families. The only downside (but understandable) is no dogs allowed.

  I think it surpassed the expectations of the entire group. Best equipped kitchen of any self-catering place I've stayed. I wish we had stayed for longer - and maybe not in dreary February!! It would be glorious in the summer in the outside space. Thank you for having us!

• "Had a fabulous girly weekend at Cae Sam."

  The property is amazing!! I have stayed at a few holiday rental properties across North Wales and this is definitely my favourite!! It has all the amenities you would require, the layout of the property is perfect and the decor and cleanliness is first class. The owners were super lovely and helpful, and couldn’t do enough for us. I look forward to booking this property again in the future.

• "Wonderful place in a wonderful location."

  Great facilities in amazing condition having been built just a few years ago. Owners are very friendly and helpful when we had a hot water issue - was resolved within a couple of hours so no complaints there - these things happen. Can't fault the place - we would like to return at some point if the prices are right - we got a great deal for Oct 2023. Prices for 2024 seem to be 20-40% higher so unless they are adjusted we are unlikely to return unfortunately. This is a truely 5* place with just a couple of very small tweaks needed to make it perfect - they are missing a shelf and toilet roll holder in one of the bathrooms. Strange thing to miss out considering they have an amazing collection of kitchen equipment and cocktail glasses for example! great pool table. Immaculate hot tub that the owner checks daily. They live near the site and are farmers and are happy for any kids to watch them milk their 200 (!!) cows. Book this place, you wont be disappointed.

• "This is a very spacious, comfortable house."

  It has lovely views and is very peaceful. Lovely bathrooms and comfy large beds. Log burner is very cosy but the house is warm anyway with underfloor heating. Kitchen is very well equipped with lots of glasses, crockery and everything you need. We had a lovely welcome from the owner who left us a tasty welcome treat. Lovely safe garden for children to play in. Our granddaughters loved watching the cows being milked on the family farm. Nothing was too much trouble and any problems owner lives very close by with her family so easily fixed - not that we had any issues at all. Not far from Llangefni and a variety of supermarkets, and Beaumaris with lovely shops and pubs. We would definitely come back as it is the best holiday home we've been to in the UK.

  We loved the house it had everything you needed. The hot tub was an added bonus to relax in at the end of the day. The welcome pack was a nice touch too with cheese made at the farm. We all enjoyed seeing the cows being milked and seeing the new born calves. Menai & Maldwyn were perfect hosts.

• "Cae Sam was incredible."

  The house is spacious, comfortable and has lots of seating. Little touches such as the welcome gift were lovely. The hot tub was maintained every day and we throughly enjoyed the fire pit table outside, it kept us warm as the temperature dropped. The house is located in a great area and only 15/20 from lots of different places to visit. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you for having us.

• "Well what can I say!"

  We booked this holiday cottage to celebrate my dad's 70th this year as a family. And we couldn't have picked anywhere better. The cottage was just stunning, well equipped with top of the range makes. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Very helpful and friendly. Kids loved the snooker/pool table and hot tub. Easy to get to places from its location. On the last day we enjoyed watching the cows being milked on the working farm they have. Loved it would absolutely stay here again.

• "Cae Sam is a fabulous holiday home with all the necessary and more."

  Welcome pack was such a nice touch with a sample of their own cheese (delicious!), getting the chance to learn how to make it and the farming processes was very interesting, they're so welcoming and helpful. We loved playing pool, going in the hot tub and the lounge area for getting everyone together in the evening to play games. Their recommendations on places to visit and restaurants were really helpful and accurate. Only two minor points; one seat in the hot tub the jets were not working and the lanes to get to the property were very narrow (obviously this cannot be changed but having explored Anglesey during the week this is a given in most places, advice would be don't use Google Maps it will send you down the tiniest of lanes, take the slightly longer routes on the main roads, you'll be glad you did!) All in all, a wonderful stay we recommend

• "Stunning house, location and hosts were fantastic, leaving us a lovely cheese, coffee and scone care package for our arrival."

  Everything you could ask for in a house from the beautiful interior, immaculately clean & comfortable bedrooms, stunning open plan dining area, log fire, pool table and patio with the hot tub. In terms of what’s around, we visited Benllech beach which is only a 10minute drive, and we also hiked Dinerwig Quarry, near Lanberis so there’s plenty to see and do. Couldn’t fault this gem of a house, thanks for having us Menai

• "This has been one of the best rentals we have had and we have rented a lot of properties over years."

  It was spacious for a family of nine and we had space to be together. It has a high quality of furnishings and is extremely comfortable . Everybody slept very well on good quality beds with lovely bed linen . .it’s in a lovely rural spot and the hot tub was great for star gazing. Property owners friendly, attentive when required and it’s definitely a property to return to .

  A family long weekend- nine of us in total! The communal areas are exceptional with incredible views. The kitchen was fabulous and a joy to cook all our meals in! The beds were really comfy!   My son, niece and nephew’s absolutely loved their time here the hot tub was a massive hit, the cows in the field opposite us was amazing they would go out each morning to wave hello to them. We were made very welcome by the owners who gave us some of their time in one of their busiest times calfing season! Thank you so much for letting us stay we wish you nothing but success.

• "What a wonderful property."

  The pictures don't do it justice - the house was spotless, the owners delightful and the views superb. We have rented lots of properties over the years but this has to be our all time favourite - simply fabulous. The jacuzzi was really good fun - you can sit in bubbles with a view over Snowdonia - truly special. We were 2 families with grown up children and there was lots of space and we all enjoyed the pool table. We will definitely be going back!   There were a few things that needed repair. We left a snagging list for the owners who we had already advised. We met the owners several times and I am confident from talking to them that the snags had not been picked up and addressed because they had not been previously made aware of them.

• "Cae sam is a beautiful house which is perfect for large groups."

  We were a group of 10 including 4 generations of our family and it was perfect for us with plenty of sociable space both in and out. Lovely to wake up and see the cows in the field which was a highlight of the holiday for my grandson. Also got to watch them being milked. Owners were handy to find if needed but not intrusive in any way. Hot tub was checked daily and they were only a text message away if you required them for anything. • "Fantastic property easily fitting family of 7 adults and 2 children and could easily do more."

  Beds for 10, plus could get cot. Owners very helpful. Hot tub and pool table were big hits with everyone. Watching the cows being milked (for free) was also a hit with the kids. BBQ provided. Lounge / kitchen dinner is an amazing size and easily accommodated everyone without being on top of each other. Highly recommended.

  We were in main bathroom downstairs. No shelves in bathroom to put toiletries on or in shower . Everything had to go on floor. Not very good for someone who is 80 years old, bending up and down. No racks in other showers either. Also our shower wouldn’t work properly. Should have been detected before we arrived. The control wouldn’t turn very easily at all. Was very stiff. I couldn’t turn on and off at all. The rise was dripping badly running through into main bathroom. I always rate a place by its shower. Cleaners should have seen it dripping. When you have paid such a lot of money for the week, expect better.

• "We thought the house looked nice from the pictures but it's alot bigger and better then the pictures show."

  It's very clean and has everything u need for ur stay. There isn't anything to do close by but we wanted a chill holiday so it was perfect for us. the hot tub was lovely and checked everyday by the owners so it was always clean. The pool table kept the men entertained for hours. We will 1000% be going back Wales is a lovely place to visit

  The pictures don’t do the house justice. It is beautiful. The owners were so very accommodating and had time to chat. Our young girls loved going to visit the farm. A perfect week away, in a very comfortable house, hot tub and pool table a fabulous addition. Would highly recommend to anybody.

  It is perfect for cooking together as the kitchen is spectacular and the huge dining table makes it easy for the whole family to eat together everyday! The surroundings are beautiful, the hot tub was an excellent touch for the evenings, and the fire in the living room made movie nights very cosy! We can definitely recommend this for family, friends, and general relaxing holidays! Wonderful hosts who are very helpful.

  The owners were very welcoming and the house is beautiful. We were a family party of 9 and the house felt spacious and comfortable. It was immaculately clean and stylish. The Pool table and Hot Tub were big hits! The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils, pots and pans and having a chef in the party we made good use of everything! We cycled and walked daily from the house around the surrounding area. Most places on Anglesey are a short drive from the property with plenty of variety to keep the whole family happy. I would not hesitate it recommending Cae Sam, it’s fantastic! Thank you for a wonderful holiday

  The photos did not do this place justice it is just beautiful! The views and outside space was perfect. The owners were so friendly and gave us a tour on the farm of the cows being milked and my little girl loved seeing the calf’s. Could not recommend this property more.

• "This was over and above what we ever imagined, such a high standard and so much space to relax."

  Its perfect location with a short drive to red wharf bay and lots of attractions, beaches, restaurants. The house was child friend with gates and cots which made life easier. The owners were super friendly and we loved the cheese made on the farm where this house is located so much so we bought a load to take home with us. You can also watch the cows being milked daily. We were celebrating my fathers 60th birthday and the owners put us in touch we a friend of the family who made us the most amazing cake for us. Thanks for a wonderful stay I honestly could think of a better place to stay and we do a staycation in Anglesey every year Nicola, robbie, elaine, alan, emma and sam and the babies xx

• "The holiday home was outstanding 6stars!"

  First class in every way. We had 6 adults playing golf all week and we thought it was truly brilliant. We obviously had a few beers after golf while in the hot tub or playing pool and the owners got rid of our ‘few’ empty bottles on a daily basis, great people very pleasant n nothing could of been better. 1 of the chaps with has traveled a lot of the world playing in a brass band and commented that it’s the best place he’s ever stay at, enough said I think! For sure we won’t be looking anywhere else if we return to do golf in Anglesey Again.

  There were 7 Adults and 3 Kids in our party , space was never an issue in this house . Ideal base for seeing the island or just relaxing , We had 3 days of poor weather but Cae Sam meant that our break continued in Style Cae Sam has Style and Quality all the way through , Furnishings and Kitchen Appliances have a Luxury feel . Mornings Chilling , Late Afternoons in the Hot Tub and nights playing cards around the Big Table . Everything a family break should be . Great Hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome . We will be back.

  Everything was to high standard and nothing was too much trouble . Various places to visit with half hour and food shops within 10 minutes . It was quiet location even it being a working diary farm . A very enjoyable holiday had by us all . The directions to the house were a little confusing as the sat nav did get us straight there .
