"Our stay at 191 Snowdonia View will go as the worst of my holiday accommodation and won't recommend it."
1. The summary online was not exactly the same as it actually is. Specifically, the summary stated that there was WIFI but this was completely false as there was none. I also confirmed the information with the Sykes staff that made the booking. 2. Responsiveness was extremely terrible. When we checked in and discovered that the WIFI was not there, I called to complain. The lady who picked up the phone directed me to a man who was an out-of-hour staff. He told me he didn't know the property and that I should search around the caravan for the WIFI. I told him I had already done that and asked if he could direct me to someone who knew about the property. He hung up the phone on me. I called the following day to make the same complaint and the lady that answered asked me to go to the reception at the accommodation and that they would sort it out. I was told at the reception that 191 Snowdonia View is managed by a private firm so they have no business with it. I again called, and this time the man who answered told me he would report the issue to the local team to sort it out. This was never done. There were other issues with the caravan like the water heater not working. We had to buy a bucket and boil water with the kettle to bath especially the kids. I tried to get them on the phone for several days but nobody picked up my calls or responded to my emails. It was not until when we were about to leave that someone contacted me. 3. The fridge was met dirty when we checked in. 4. I think basic facilities like a mop stick should be available as well as a description of where to empty bins. We had to walk around to look for one. We are certainly not going to book that caravan again and won't recommend it to anyone.
We wish to offer our most sincere apologies for the issues you report in this feedback and that you were wrongly advised about the WIFI. We do have staff on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to help with any problems as they occur. We are looking into all our communications with you as we didnt receive notification of the hot water problem until day 4 of your stay. If you would like to contact us per the details on the Menai Holidays website, we are the company that are responsible for this property and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you further.
