12 Customer Reviews

  • "Very short notice stay here due to a issue at my booked property nearby which Sykes sorted out in very short order."

I've stayed here and reviewed Cuddfan twice before during the latter part of last year and it's an ideal place to base yourself for walking Snowdonia. Many thanks to the owner for the very short notice access. I'll no doubt be back again this year.

The property

Resting centrally in Tremadog, a quaint village near the coastline of Gwynedd is Cuddfan, a well-positioned mid-terrace property.

Conveniently located near a range of amenities, and a short drive from both the beach and Snowdonia National Park, Cuddfan makes the ideal base for a family of four, looking to explore North Wales with their four-legged friends.

Park up on the roadside before entering the welcoming sitting room, complete with a log burner, plush seating, and a TV with Chromecast, providing guests with access to Netflix.

Venture into the well-equipped kitchen/diner, dotted with culinary appliances to ease your self-catered stay, where you can dine indoors or outdoors upon the rear patio.

When sleep calls, head upstairs to refresh in the shower room, before selecting between a double and a twin bedroom.

Awaken to a fun-filled itinerary, starting off local at Black Rock Llamas, or a tour of the Maritime Museum, or perhaps a seaside stroll along Morfa Bychan Beach.

A short car journey away will bring you to Harlech and its stunning castle, overlooking the turquoise waters at Harlech Beach, before venturing north to explore the national park.

Be spoilt for choice when embarking on your journey, with the chance to visit Beddgelert Forest and Grave, tour Sygun Copper Mine, follow the walking trail across Aber Glaslyn Pass, climb up to the summit of Snowdon, enjoy a fabulous vantage point from Glyder Fawr, or zip across the county at Zip World Llechwedd.

All of this, and more, can be enjoyed at Cuddfan.
