So many welcome goodies, the children loved the games room and it was perfect for the rainy days we had. Definitely stay again.

  • "We absolutely loved The Moores, it was perfect for what we wanted."

We were a large family group; myself and my husband our three grown up children and their partners and our grandson who is not quite two. The house had lovely big family areas but also lots of smaller break out areas for when people wanted a bit of quiet time. We loved the cinema room and the games room and had games and film nights during the week. The property was homely enough that we could relax in it. The welcome pack was amazing, totally above and beyond and even included bubbles which my grandson loved. It was these small touches that took the stay to the next level, popcorn in the cinema room, hand wash and shampoo in all the bathrooms, the property owner really went the extra mile! I could go on for a lot longer but suffice to say we loved this property and had a great holiday.

  • "Outstanding stay at the moores, Everything you wanted and needed on site."

A welcome book would of been nice though as no information was left apart from leaflets to visit places. Would definitely come back.

Garden not secure (if you have a dog it can exit property via side of yard by front decking/tree) Property not as advertised on Sykes. Over priced rental - would not recommend.

  • "We booked for a surprise 60th birthday weekend for my husband."

6 adults and 4 children. Extremely impressed by the size of the house, plenty of room for us all without being on top of each other. Excellent size bedrooms, ours on ground floor was more like a suite! The games room was a hit with everyone, although we found out none of us can play snooker! The casino table in sitting room was a great surprise and we had a fun casino night. The cinema room was a nice touch and provided a break out room. The owners provided a welcome pack including tasty snacks. Would highly recommend

They guided us through how everything works and had no issue with us messaging them if we needed anything, even helped us find the best local Chinese takeaway

The games room was a big hit the huge snooker table also had a pool set, there was table tennis, badminton for the back garden, the coffee table turned into roulette not to mention other games… We loved the dinner and the welcome goodies were amazing. We had so much fun and made lots of memories! Thank you the Moores for a fabulous stay.

  • "The house itself was lovely and both the kids and adults really enjoyed all the games ( snooker table, darts, pinball and arcade games) The house was let down by a tired looking couch with holes, uncomfortable dining room table and the temperatures of the bedrooms."

The upstairs was really cold with the pipes banging all day and night. The downstairs bedroom had no radiator at all and was freezing, far from ideal with a 4 month old baby. We visited in October and found it really cold so couldn't imagine how cold it would be in December.
