It was so lovely to have especially after a long day of walking. We have already booked to return in the summer and will be bringing our bikes to explore further. 10/10

  • "Me and my partner couldn't get enough of this stunning cottage."

The owner was a lovely lady and showed us around, demonstrated how to operate the hot tub and told us about some of the local spots to visit before handing over the keys. The cottage itself was really nice inside with a decently-sized bedroom and a nicely-outfitted adjoining bathroom. There is a wood burner in the living room (which we declined to use during our stay) but there is also central heating which nicely cooks the place in a few short minutes. The bed was comfortable enough, though a bit springier than I'm used to. We used the hot tub in the dead of night and it was amazing. Honestly, I couldn't fault the place and would absolutely consider staying there again.

We thought it was a great little annexe which had everything we needed for a few days away. The only improvement that would have made it perfect is to change the mattress on the bed. It is very soft and bouncy and not very comfortable to sleep on. Thank you for a great time away from all the hustle of normal life though, just what is needed and we hope to come back again in June too.

Really pleased to have the electric car charger available. (Type 2, so don't forget an adapter if your car takes type 1). And a hot tub to watch the sunset in. We had a wonderful week. Excellent, helpful host. We really appreciated the change of towels midweek! A few small things. Can we suggest a blind or curtains over the small window on the stairs? The bright sunrise woke us at 430am! Mattress on the soft side for us, but understand that's just personal preference. And no 2 pin shaver socket. Would be useful if an adapter was provided. The log burner was a bonus. Plenty of cutlery, tea towels and kitchen utensils to use. Towels were fluffy and even included flannels. The hot tub was a luxury, may be a good idea to bring flip flops for when you get out as it can be a bit stoney underfoot for when you go back into the cottage and may be a good idea to bring a beach towel. Also had extra blankets for those chilly nights, but we didn’t need them. However the bathroom can be quite chilly as there is no heating in the room. A little tip would be to have a linen basket and more cupboard space in the kitchen. But we thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay and explored the areas close to the cottage.

The cottage is perfectly positioned in Rhiw which is only a short 7 min drive into the gorgeous unspoiled seaside village Aberdaron.
