  • "I had a wonderful holiday in your very comfortable property - one of the best I've stayed at."

A quiet and peaceful location with beautiful walks from the door. I would definitely like to stay there again. Thank you.

  • "The location of the lodge was outstanding, it ticked all the boxes for us, the walk from the lodge onto the beautiful beach and the coastal path was spectacular, we would not hesitate to go back to there as soon as we can."

The lodge is clean and comfortable and in a beautiful location.

  • "Absolutely stunning location and fantastic contact with the owners after completing our booking over a year ago."

So spotlessly clean thus the late checkin, it really was immaculate and a lovely touch of Welsh cakes, wine, sweets and other little essentials left for us. It is remote so if you are looking for peace, getting away from it all, this is it! We really hope to return again. Thank you.

Well equipt with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very clean and well maintained. Nice space outside for the dog. Close to the lovely village of Aberdaron. Would highly recommend. Diolch yn fawr iawn i'r gwesteiwyr.

  • "The lodge was spotlessly clean, one of the cleanest properties that I have ever stayed in."

It was very comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. The children particularly enjoyed playing in the garden. The surrounding countryside and coastal areas were stunningly beautiful and there are some fabulous walks straight from the property. There are also many other beautiful places to explore a short drive away. All in all we had a wonderful stay, the only slight problem was the WiFi. The signal was so weak that none of our four devices were able to sign in, so we had no internet.

  • "We have just returned from the loveliest weekend at the lodge."

Pictures are accurate but don’t show just how clean everything is. Spotless! Felt like home and will return. Beach is lovely and whilst not far it’s a bit of a hike down.

  • "Beautiful stay (2 adults, 1 teenager and our dog) great location, very well equipped, very comfortable and a stunning part of Wales."

We would definitely return. Only criticism albeit a tiny one, I would have liked firmer pillows as ours were flat. Thanks for our welcome pack Rob it was a very kind gesture.

  • "We had a fantastic few days staying at the lodge."

Stunning location with views out to sea and surrounding hills. Short walk to the beach and coastal path. The lodge was very spacious for our family of 4 and small dog. Well maintained and very clean, loved the welcome pack! Would definitely return in the future.

  • "Beautiful setting."

Comfortable well equipped lodge. Bedrooms comfortable and plenty of space. Great to have a dishwasher in the kitchen. Seating in the lounge was snug for 4 adults but plenty of other options. There was no remote control for the tv in the bedroom but we didn’t need it anyway. Really quick response from Rob when we contacted him. Excellent holiday.

apart from excellent all round. Property really quite stunning, location just a few minutes from the beach and the coastal path, you couldn't possibly ask for more. We'll be back next year for definite.

The owners are very attentive and we greatly appreciated the little touches (including, welcome goodies and provision of a football net for the children). The lodge itself is clean and well equipped and its location is perfect. We would highly recommend.

  • "We had a wonderful holiday."

The location is beautiful and scenic next to National Trust space with easy access to Pwllheli, Aberdaron etc. The property was immaculately clean, spacious and very comfortable with plenty of outdoor space for my son to play football. The family was lovely, helpful and kind. My son loved it so much he asked if we could move there. 100% we will be going back to Ysgo Lodge. Thank you

  • "The lodge was very clean ."

However as there were properties either side of you there was not as much privacy as thought. The property says that it caters for 6 adults , however it was quite small and only comfortable for 2 adults. There was insufficient cutlery and plates . We had to buy cereal bowls and bigger plates. The pots and pans were quite small , so you were limited on what you could cook. You were only supplied with one bath towel each and we had to ask for more towels given that we were there for 7 nights, which the hosts did provide. The hosts were friendly and not intrusive . Overall we had a pleasant week.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

The lodge was very well equipped and very clean. It is located in a peaceful farming area with views of the sea over the headland. The wine and Welsh cakes were very much appreciated which were left by the owner on our arrival. We would definitely recommend it.

  • "We had a fabulous chilled week."

Weather was amazing. Hosts had thought of everything that the lodge needed. The welcome wine and welsh cakes were a lovely touch! Getting down to Ysgo beach was not for the faint-hearted but beautiful all the same. Added to our favourite uk holiday destination and we hope to return again.

  • "We had a fantastic holiday, what a beautiful place to stay!"

The lodge was just as the images show, it was beautiful and comfortable and everything had been thought about to make your stay as relaxing as possible. To arrive to a lovely selection of drinks, biscuits and sweets for the boys was a lovely touch and very welcoming. As a family we find eating out difficult, so having great facilities really helped us. It was lovely being away from the hustle and bustle of life, the walks and beaches are amazing. You are far enough away to relax, but a short drive to the things you need. It was great having advice from the owners about lovely walks and places to visit, what a lovely family. We really didn't want to leave!
