  • "Overall the cottage was lovely and we thought the price was good value as well."

Spacious downstairs with all you need in the kitchen, dining area and sitting room with a tv and lovely electric fire place. We loved exposed beams, that gave a nice character to the place. At the time of our stay all cottages were occupied, but it was very quiet and peaceful so could have a relaxing evenings. Upstairs three bedrooms, single one on a small side but perfect for a child, two other doubles and nicely decorated. Unfortunately our only complain are beds, bed frames are wooden and were making squeaking noise every time one of us moved, so if you are a light sleeper that was not a comfortable rest at all. Please look into this as otherwise place is lovely, close to everything we wanted to see in North Wales.

  • "The bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice and fluffy."

As it rained for two days and it was cold and damp we used the central heating at it warmed up in no time - what a great heating system! The sofas were also very comfortable and the TV was fab too with all its range of channels. It was just like a home from home. Fab.

  • "Absolutely beautiful location and lovely property."

The only negatives were very minor. Only one of the three bedrooms had a mirror but with no accessible plug socket, so difficult to dry one's hair. Only small towels supplied. No privacy outside from the adjoining cottages. Very creaky bed.

  • "Really liked the cottage and the area."

We enjoyed being on the farm setting, the children especially liked visiting the horses every day. We would recommend this accommodation to people who wanted to stay in this area. Kitchen scissors would have been useful but otherwise we had everything we needed there. The apple chutney that was left for us on arrival was absolutely delicious, thank you.

  • "We had a great stay."

The location is perfect for exploring North Wales. The kids loved the horses over the road and the rural location. This is our second time staying here. My only ask would be that there was a mirror that was closer to a plug socket as found it difficult to do my hair but that's just a tiny suggestion.

  • "Wonderful. No complaints."

But a suggestion or two for families. A night light in the bathroom would be handy and three pressure gates to prevent toddlers in the kitchen and going up the stairs. The gate at the top was great and the most important as were the highchairs they really helped us. Putting a double plug behind the TV would allow for a mobile to charge while casting which would be handy. These are suggestions only and the cottage is still great as it is.

The whole process of the booking and accommodation very good was in a remote area very quite must have a car to get about if we had any faults it would be the was no privacy only front entry would have been nice to have chairs outside not just benches to sit on maybe have little space at the back of the cottage overall enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property yes would stay at the cottage again very clean /spacious plenty of room for 5 people= 2x2 bedrooms 1x1 bedroom very comfortable

  • "The maintenance of the property was the only let down."

The toilet did not flush correctly so I repaired it. The basin was blocked which we made a quick repair on. The shower had very poor power. The oil fueled boiler had a nasty smell coming from it. The worktops had been damaged and a stone cutting board was placed over the damage. A kitchen door was hanging off. There was also an end of a roof beam protruding into one the bedroom, could be quite nasty if a child ran into it. These are fairly small issues which, when rectified, would make the property superb.

A lovely barn conversion. The family that run it were lovely and available if you needed anything. We thought our hot water had stopped working (it hadn't - my daughter had turned the switch off!) And they were there straight away to sort it out. My only comment would be that they could do with restocking the glasses as there has obviously been a number broken over the years and there are no baking trays for the oven if you wanted to cook at the property. We'd highly recommend.

The only downside for me was the beds, they where uncomfortable, so didn’t get a good nights sleep. The location was perfect. We also walked into the village which took around 30 minutes, where we had a lovely time at the local pub. Everyone was so friendly and the bar snacks where amazing. I would definitely recommend!
