A lovely duplex apartment in a stunning beach location next to Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth) Beach and the Coastal Path near to Llanengan and Abersoch.

Resting in an idyllic setting by Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth) Beach, and enjoying access to handy, on-site facilities, Ysgo is a great base for a family of six’s beachfront break.

After parking in the communal car park, head inside the apartment and venture upstairs to discover a delightsome open-plan living space.

The space boasts mid-century seating that rests in front of a wall-mounted TV, where you can relax with your family as you enjoy a movie night; additionally, you can find window seating where you can settle down with a book instead.

The chef of the group will be pleased with the kitchen, a space providing you with the essentials required to rustle up delectable meals, for all to enjoy at the neighbouring dining table.

After catching up with your group about your coastal activities over dinner, move across the first floor to find a lovely double that benefits from its own cloakroom.

Two more well-appointed bedrooms rest downstairs, one being a double and the other being a twin room; the bedrooms on the ground floor share access to a fantastic bathroom, a room adorned with white tiling, giving it a clean and crisp feel, whilst also hosting a bath with shower over, so you can relax your muscles amidst the bubbles after a day packed with surfing.

The apartment also enjoys access to two outdoor spaces, with a communal seating area to the front of the property, where you can enjoy a morning coffee, and another communal area behind the apartment, where you can stretch your legs on the lawn as you take in the sea breeze.

Wander down to Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth) Beach for an afternoon filled with sun, sand and sailing, before coming back to the site to wash your wetsuits off with a provided hose, throw any sandy clothes into the site’s laundrette and wander to the nearby village of Llanengan, where you can treat yourself to a hearty meal and a pint at The Sun Inn.

Travel to Abersoch to discover all your amenities in one location, with a fantastic variety of restaurants, shops showcasing beachwear, and local attractions nestled into the high streets.

Porth Ysgo and Porth Meudwy, and the coastal village of Aberdaron; from Aberdaron you can access a trail that leads to the Mynydd Mawr headland.

Llanbedrog and Pwllheli are just moments away from Ysgo and make for delightful outings for all the family.

Ty'n Don Cottages

The Ty'n Don Cottages consist of eight charming apartments resting in the coastal hamlet of Llanengan, near Abersoch. This collection offers a selection of amply-fitted properties and on-sight activities including a Play Barn, communal lawn, table tennis, badminton court and a laundrette, making it ideal for a family getaway. The surroundings enjoy a local sandy beach, ideal for surfing and walks in the salty air, whilst there is a selection of roads great for cycling. Travel a little further to Abersoch, a seaside town where you can enjoy scenic walks, including Penbennar Walk Route, and try out the local golf course. Enjoy a meal out at The Dining Room or The Fish Bar & Grill. Explore the wider area and visit the National Trust’s fantastic attraction of PLas yn rhiw, before continuing to Aberdaron where Porth Simdde, Aberdaron Beach and the nearby cove of Porth Meudwy await, along with the spectacular viewpoint of Arfordir Treftadaeth Penrhyn Llyn. Visit the quaint settlements of Morfa Nefyn and Nefyn, and learn local history at the Amgueddfa Forwrol Llyn Maritime Museum, walk the Llyn Coastal Path to the point of Porthdinllaen and finish the day off with a pint from the Cwrw Llyn brewery.

ABERSOCH

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
