"Lovely house in a fantastic location."
Close to the beach and shops. Beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise from the veranda. Thoughtful welcome pack from the owners. Kitchen very well stocked with lots of extra crockery and cooking utensils. Beach toys in the garage. Well laid out communal areas (lounge and dining area) for 6 adults. Great for our toddler as all rooms are on one floor with a lovely garden to play in. We would highly recommend.

"Spotlessly clean and very generous welcome pack."
Last part of track to property very rough. Lots of decking around with some needing attention. Electric water taps tricky to control. Biggest downside for me was only being able to access outside seating area from front door via a rocky path and not being able to see out of lounge windows when sitting. The views were lovely though you cannot see the sea from the property.

"We’ve had a really lovely stay at Windy Ridge."
With a young family we really appreciated the washing facilities and the garden space. We look forward to returning.

"We had a great time at Windy Ridge."
Lovely place to stay. Thanks very much for the welcome pack we found on arrival - really appreciated. The garage and its contents were an added bonus, thanks.

"Generally happy with the accommodation which was clean and comfortable."
Lovely views. Walking distance to beach. However the outside of the property was hazardous. Some of the boarding was rotten and some fencing not secure. Uneven rocky ground or many steps to access garden where the grass looked like it had not been cut for some time. The main steps to the porch door and the decking were very slippery, especially after rain. Not really suitable for small children or infirm

"I would book again"

"Our stay at windy Lodge was incredible- we were very fortunate that the weather was glorious which meant we could take full advantage of the approx 5 minute walk to the beach and all the extras in the garage (body boards, bucket and spades, wet suits)."
There were four genenrations on the stay and it was great for all (there is steps but my active 88 year old nan managed these). The property is spacious and well equipped- my boys loved there bunk beds and watching DVD at night in bed (take DVD’s as only one). There is a lovely outdoor seating and we could watch sunrise and sunset, magical. I will sure be returning. Thank you for an incredible stay and also the lovely welcome welsh cake.

The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed.

Will definitely be returning.

"The road in was not as described we turned back because we thought it was someone's garden as a van was parked there and a traffic cone in the middle of the road."
could be better sign posted. there was no hot water or egg cups.

"Very comfortable place with everything we needed for a relaxing break."
Outside table and chairs with views, in a great location, with an easy fully paved road to the beach.

"Are you looking for a cosy well eqipped cottage, home from home and close to Treddur Bay?"
Then this is it!! The host was so helpful, making email contact prior to arrival, giving us property instructions and a few local highlights, a really nice personal touch. Any questions asked in email were responded to really quickly. On arrival down a quiet private road the property has a large gated driveway which easily accommodated two cars. The living area is slightly elevated so you benefit from amazing views. We really enjoyed sitting on the decking area and watching the sunset with a drink each night. This isn't a brand new property and loved its character and features as it makes it feel so homely, we instantly settled in. The living room has loads of seating space and is a really cosy in evenings with the open fire roaring and the sun setting through the window. The kitchen is really well laid out and has loads of equipment, it made it really easy to cater for the 7 of us. The bedrooms are all a really good size and well laid out. The children's room has a large double bed and single above and small TV. Treddur Bay is one of our favorite places to visit, so relaxed with exceptional views, a nice promenade and lots of places to stop for a drink and food whilst watching the world pass by. This property is only a 10 minute walk along a well lit road with good pavements. We had an excellent family stay at this property and made many great memories. We will sure be looking to return to Windy Ridge soon!!

"Windy ridge is a lovely place to stay"

"The house was in a great location."
Not as clean as we would have liked though. Some furnishings are dated. No info regarding facilities or recycling or hot water. Bins outside were full. It's a shame as it could be a fab holiday home.

"Nice area of Anglesey, house is close to beach and facilities."
-
"A fabulous week at Windy Ridge."
Very spacious and comfortable house and the owners have thought of everything you could possible need. Kids loved the pool table and dart board in the garage. Ideal spot for exploring the local area and beach and pubs/restaurants all a short walk away! Thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy a week in Treaddur Bay.

"We had a lovely week at Windy Ridge."
Great location. Lovely bright bungalow. Great facilities. Only criticism is could do with modernisation such as the settee and carpets. Thank you for a lovely week.
-
"The home and location were great and would recommend this to anybody."
If Sykes look after the cleaning and upkeep, then you need to improve in that area. The grass I had to cut myself so we could use the lawned area and the windows were dirty inside and out. The house itself was great

"House was very comfortable."
We had a great time, very relaxing and the weather was a bonus. Particularly enjoyed sitting on the decking taking in the view out towards Holyhead mountain, even better with a beer in hand.

"Windy Ridge was utterly perfect from beginning to end!"
The location was ideal, the cottage itself was absolutely stunning & well equipped with necessary amenities. The property was immaculate & we couldn't have asked for anything more. We didn't want to leave & will definitely be returning soon!

"Really lovely home to relax in, good location, would be even better if it had a hot tub as this is ideal and not overlooked."
Bedrooms/bathroom were clean. However, we felt the house would benefit from air freshners as it smelt very musty, the carpet in the living/dining room had not been hoovered and had crumbs in the carpet. There were spiders and cobwebs enbedded in corners. Cooking pots had not been cleaned properly from previous occupants and make-up stains on towels. Really don't want to give negative feedback, as it was a lovely stay and a lovely home with lots of potential. .
Thank you for your feedback we are pleased to hear that you had a lovely stay. We located the cause of the musty smell which was caused by a leak under the kitchen sink, this has now been fixed and the musty smell resolved. The house has also undergone a thorough clean. We have furthermore been busy upgrading the exterior of the property which is now painted a more inviting white - updated photos will be posted soon. We were delighted with your comments in the visitors book and that you plan to definitely return to Windy Ridge soon. We look forward to welcoming you back (The Owners) .
