"Could not ask for more, amazing location to explore."
Lovely cottage and owner.
Thank you for your lovely comments Property Owner

"Very cozy with a nice wood burner."
Need some fire utensils. In the main a clean and tidy little cottage. Ann and Roger lovely and welcoming. It is quite remote so prepare for narrow roads. One of two cracked tiles. Some of the rugs need a clean. A bit dusty under beds. Just small issues overall.

"We had a lovely stay, thank you."
Fabulous views and a great cosy, comfortable cottage - a little remote but that's what we wanted. The cottage had everything we needed and the owner resolved a minor issue (with the toaster) immediately. We would highly recommend staying here.

"What a lovely cottage!"
Very well appointed and so warm and cosy in the cold winter weather. We appreciated the Christmas touches and had a wonderful stay. Thank you.,

"We have made complaints which have not been addressed."
I notice that the rental has been dropped in price. Have there been other complaints?
The price always drops after high season. Property Owner

They are missing you too, especially Buster Property Owner

"Nice rural property, owners were friendly and welcoming."
Dogs were running around freely, and whilst they were boisterous and inquisitive, they were friendly and we had no issues with them.

"Our holiday to this cottage and area was lovely."
The cottage is well maintained and clean. Ann and Roger are very nice people and Ann could not have been more welcoming. We met their dogs and they met ours. The four hooligans didn't really gel but it was more noise than anything else so not a problem. If we visit the area again we will probably book again.
Thank you for your lovely comments, we would be very happy to see you again Property Owner

"The cottage itself and the owners were lovely."
Could have done with a washing machine ideally and the electric kept tripping so were unable to make use of the dishwasher and boiled water in a pan for several days. However the biggest issue was the dogs. The owners dogs are very territorial and therefore were very aggressive towards our dogs. After a 5 hour journey, our dogs were pretty upset to be met the other end with being chased and barked at. This continued for several days and it was clear things would not improve so got to the point where the owners had to keep their dogs inside when we were there. Not really fair for either party. IF this property wants to promote that dogs are welcome they have to install fencing or some sort of partition between the space so there is at least somewhere for the visiting dogs to go, without fear of attack. If not then quite frankly this property should not be allowed to advertise dogs being welcome. It did ruin our opinion of the property unfortunately and I would not return as a result.
Thank you for your comments, the property owner wishes to ensure that they take full responsibility for their dogs whilst visiting the property. They have taken your suggestions on board. You never mentioned that the kettle had broken, we didn't find out until after you had left, also it states inSykes write up that you have use of the owners washing machine. Property Owner

"A lovely cottage in a spectacular location in the wonderful Llyn countryside yet only 15mins from Abersoch."
A quiet retreat away from the busy village and beach. The cottage is very comfortable and well equiped with everything you need for a home from home holiday. Mr and Mrs Pearson were perfect hosts and could not have been more friendly. Our collie dog also enjoyed the stay happily playing with owners younger spaniel and keeping an eye on the horses in the back field. We look forward to our next visit to Trefaes Newydd.
Thank you for your kind remarks, we would love to see you again. Property Owner

"Lovely cottage."
Comfortable stay overall. Their dogs intimidated ours so we couldn’t relax and would not recommend the cottage for dogs. Ideally would be better with an enclosed private garden. Internet was poor. Tv reception was poor but was cured by an engineer half way through the week. Electricity kept tripping in the kitchen. Over all we enjoyed it but would not return. Have stayed in better cottages for less money in the past.

"Great central location for visiting different places across the Llyn Peninsula."
The property itself is fantastic: well designed interior, warm log burner, great views from the rear. Friendly owners made us feel very welcome too.
Thank you! Property Owner

"Owners live next door so ideally placed to welcome you, but we were greeted with doors open."
More pleasant on the phone. Furniture very dated, very bad smell inside like wet dogs. Lovely log burner which when lit helped mask the smell. Garden needs to be fenced off for dogs.
As we were in the middle of a pandemic Sykes advised that we were not to show people around the cottage and to keep a distance Property Owner

"We booked this cottage as it stated "up to 2 well behaved dogs welcome"."
We have one very well behaved and friendly cockapoo so we booked. Little did we know (as it was not stated on the cottage description) that 3 possessive/aggressive dogs lived in the owners cottage just a stones throw away from the rental cottage. Upon arrival (approx. 5:30pm on Sat 4th Sept), we were confronted by the owners 3 dogs barking at our car. This is not abnormal (so we thought) so we got out of the car to say hello. We quickly realised that the dogs were not friendly as they were barking/snarling/jumping up and showing teeth to our dog. It got our of hand so much so that we had to pick our dog up and get in to the cottage to keep him safe. The dogs were trying to bite our dog and one of them got his tail in their mouth. The owner just looked on aghast and did not say a word. She just tried to get the dogs under control but failed miserably. This unfortunately set the tone for the remainder of our week holiday. We were unable to sit outside on the patio area as the 3 dogs from the owners were left to wander around. We had to check that the outside area was clear every time we left the cottage to go out for the day because of the unfriendly dogs and their behaviour towards us all and our dog. The 3 dogs were left to their own devices so they were frequently barking at the patio doors of the rental cottage. Later in the week a further dog joined in (making a total of 4 dogs that the owner had) and all dogs barked at us when we were in the property, leaving the property and returning to the property. It was no fun at all and not relaxing in the slightest. The owner (female) did make an attempt to apologise to us and said " I didn't sleep at all last night, I don't know what's got in to the dogs". That was it, there was no attempt at controlling the dogs whatsoever. What would have been useful is (1) if the owners of the cottage had control of their dogs, (2) if the owners of the cottage did not let their dogs into the outside area that they rent out as a holiday cottage, (3) if the owner cleaned up after their dogs and not allow them foul in the area or access area to the cottage that they rent out. It was a lovely location, and a nice enough cottage but the dogs ruined our break. Making us all anxious and not at all relaxed. Obviously we like dogs, we have our own, but this was unacceptable for a holiday rental.

"Lovely holiday- just difficult walking the dogs straight out from the cottage and it would have been easier if the garden areas had been self contained."
Lovely owners too.i

"We stayed here for a week, found the accommodation to be very clean, warm, and we really enjoyed staying there."
Its location is perfect being fairly central for Pithwelli, Abersoch, Aberdaron, and all the beaches around the area. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and tucked out of the way we would highly recommend it .

"Lovely break away with children a little too far out for us, but a great rural location the children enjoyed being out in the country ."
Ann and Roger made us all feel very welcome and allowed the children to feed the horses and help on their land.

"Our hosts were very helpful and the location is delightful, far from anywhere with fantastic views."
Broadband only worked in two rooms but that was not really an issue.
