  • "Absolutely fantastic cottage!"

Perfect location, really easy to find and brilliant facilities. The views from the house are absolutely amazing! We were 2 families (4 adults and 4 children of varying ages) and we couldn’t have asked for more….fabulous house and extensive safe grounds for the children to play in. We will definitely return!!

  • "Our holiday wasn't great due to following reasons: 1."

Location mentioned in the description is completely incorrect. Google maps link, what3words all lead to incorrect location so we spent 3 hrs in the dark to find out the location. There is no light outside the property so only luck will find you this place in the dark. After 8 hrs of driving from London and it was the worst holiday stay. 2. We never know no one will be available to call after 5pm till check in day noon. so no welcome information provided until we reached out to the host via text/WhatsApp. Note. There is also issues with mobile signal so reaching out to anyone will be impossible. 3. The instructions give to us was half. We took the key from safe but the main door was the hardest to open in my life. No info regarding the door mentioned. 4. The front of the property was soaked because of recent rain so we were advised to park at the top of the property but we never know which one is top in the dark so our 3 cars stuck in the mud. Three families with children from 18 months to 6 years travelled with us so our holiday started with biggest disappointment for all parents. We wasted 1 day in our holiday just to get the car out of mud. 5. Temperature in the ground floor was much lower than first floor so family stayed in the ground floor had disturbed and uncomfortable sleep first night and we increased the temperature but then first was burning hot. 6. Living room at first floor was filled with full of dust and same for all the curtains. Kids with dust allergies please avoid this place. 7. There is no one to check on you whether everything okay during the stay. We never felt this unwelcome anywhere before. 8. Water was leaking under sink. Vacuum cleaner was full of mess. The whole house is not fit for letting. So we are trying to find information how to report this.

As the owner of the property I am very sorry that you had such a bad experience. You are the first to make a complaint nor has anyone got lost before. Sadly the weather has been and continues to be atrocious and I have never known the area so wet. I can imagine that arriving with a lot of young children after a long drive and then getting stuck must have been awful. Our normal caretaker was away and her daughter was in charge and I didn't realise she was unable to be there to meet you or that the porch light was not working. However, I am at the house now, and I don't understand your issues with the heating. You can turn the radiators up, down, on or off to suit your requirements. We will do our best not to disappoint any future renters. It is a glorious spot albeit better when the sun shines. Property Owner

  • "We had 2 young kids, 2 medium kids and 3 couples, so we made full use of the 5 rooms at the property."

It was spacious and we had plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms to be very comfortable. The ample kitchen and sitting rooms were very comfortable. There was plenty of parking space for our 4 cars. The sea view is gorgeous. It’s a short walk into the village, great food served at the pub and all essentials available at the post office. The same distance again and you’re at the beach with a charming cafe and gift shop and walks along the shore. Lovely spot, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t recommend enough.

TUDWEILIOG

Nefyn 5 miles; Abersoch 9 miles; Pwllheli 10 miles.

The picturesque village of Tudweiliog lies on the Nefyn to Aberdaron road along the stunning north coast of the Llyn Peninsula and feels much further away than it is from the hustle and bustle of Pwllheli and Abersoch, and the other resorts along the south coast. The local pub is the Lion Inn and there is a Post Office in the village which also doubles as the village shop. The local beach is the cove of Porth Towyn, with its clean sand and waters, it is a popular choice with families. A little further along the coast is the wide bay of Traeth Penllech with the tiny fishing hamlet of Porth Colmon at its western end. The Llyn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is renowned for its scenery and varied walking, with coastal paths being a major attraction for the avid walker. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust, where you will find many remote bays, sandy beaches, cliffs and wildlife havens, plus the region is dotted with castles, whilst fishing, sailing and watersport activities are available.
